Dewey Burrito

Nice local eatery. Went in on a Monday morning, no wait. Be prepared for a long wait on the weekend. I had the hazelnut coffee and a breakfast burrito. I like the prices are relatively low compared with the trendy new spots. My meal was 15.00 for coffee extra sour cream and the breakfast burrito. Good value in my mind.

Weekday work brunch with arrival around 11 on a Tuesday. Atmosphere was busy, but there were plenty of tables available. We were greeted and seated immediately. The hazelnut coffee here is some of my favorite! And, I just had to try the Mahoney Cakes just due to the name. Overall they were decent with huge portions. Personally the cakes were done perfectly, but the inside filling wasn't sweet enough for me (my fault for ordering based on my name ). I'm sure we will visit again, as I've dined here three times despite not living in the city and had great service and good quality food for a good price every time.

Such delicious food and also a great variety. The staff is so friendly and offer recommendations. Nestled in East Town in a great area.

Two Eggs, Meat & Potatoes Breakfast - they serve 3 eggs

Just as good as I remembered! It's probably been 10 years since I last visited and it's still a wonderful breakfast choice! We arrive around 9am on a Friday morning and were quickly seated. Tables in the side dinning area near the kitchen is cozy (would be tight with 4 people). Choose the Hazelnut coffee - fresh and wonderful! Ordered 2 eggs and served 3, very crispy delicious hashbrowns with onions - spectacular! Bacon was just okay. Grateful the server double checked my toast then brought an order dry (they use butter - I have an allergy). Husband enjoyed his scrambled eggs and was thrilled with the Polish sausage! Started our day off spectacular. We will be back!

This is one of my favorite places to eat. Every time I try something new to eat and it is so good. I always love to get a cafe wolfgangs when I go.

SOOOO yummy and a classic American brunch spot. Homey and cozy vibes. Prices are very reasonable! Their menu is huge! The sweet plate we ordered allowed us to do a half portion which I thought was really considerate! The Keane skillet is my favorite if you are a corned beef hash girly There is ALWAYS a wait bc it is that good. Try to go earlier if you can but for example on a Sunday at 10am it was a 50 minute wait. My go to spot for brunch that makes me so happy :)

Half order Biscuits & Sausage Gravy, Breakfast Quesadilla

Service was great! It was our first time visiting and she was patient and helped us with choosing what we ordered. Drinks- coffee was "eh" according to others. A lot of tea options with honey and lemon packets available as well. Biscuits and gravy- really good flavor to the gravy. The biscuit was really buttery and not dry at all. Breakfast quesadilla- loved this. The salsa is sooo good, not spicy. It is a THICK quesadilla. Blue crab Benedict- comes with egg whites mixed into the blue crab mixture and the person that ordered this really enjoyed it. They also got crispy hash browns with grilled onion. Necessary if you like crispy potatoes. There was an option to do diced potato too. This was an add on. Ron's skillet- loved the cinnamon bread. Skillet was rated 3/5- slightly greasy and not crispy potatoes. They got a side of hollandaise and didn't feel it was great. Overall a great price for the meal and we would visit again.

I didn't write down the name of my meall, But here's what I look like ... it sure was layered with flavor.

Tried a fancy spinach Benedict for the first time. Specifically upgraded to the fancy because of the goat cheese.

Ask the Community - Wolfgang's Restaurant

Does their phone number normally work? I got an automatic voice message saying the call couldn't be completed the last 3x I called (during business hours)...?

They answer the phone for take out; except when they are closed.

Do they have gluten free options- (I tried to call but got a message about it being the wrong mailbox)?

I did notice some gluten-free meal options

My boyfriend and I stumbled in during happy hour and were happy to grab some cheap drinks, but the main event was the burger! We typically like sitting at the bar as well and chat with the bartender who was absolutely lovely! The dirty martini was okay but I will definitely order something else next time as the olives just didn't hit for me. It's a quaint and quiet spot - you can read that as intimate - since it's not loud or rowdy, so if you want a really sweet date spot, feel free to check this one out! Otherwise, you can just go and have a casual, delicious dinner. Parking is limited with the street parking and it being so close to Monroe Center but you shouldn't have a terrible time finding something, even if requires a parking ramp vs street parking. I'd just recommend a reservation if you are going on a weekend or don't want to wait/sit at the bar!

This was my first time at at Little Bird and it definitely did not disappoint. However, I now see why it's called Little Bird because the inside is definitely small but that just adds to the ambiance. My husband and I came here for brunch on a Saturday because it's a place we both can eat at (he's not vegan). When we walked in the restaurant was bustling and packed, but we got seated right away by the door which was cool because we could people watch. Our server greeted us immediately and filled our glasses with water. She was nice and answered all of our questions. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with my brunch choices which were the soup of the day, a lentil curry, pumpkin seed combo with tons of good seasoning and cilantro on top...it was soooo good and vegan friendly! For my entree I got the tofu sandwich with the most amazing side salad that had this lemon dressing that set it off right! I could have just had a plate of the salad! Although the tofu sandwich was good, it was a bit on the salty side for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this place for vegan options and I'd come back. Just be aware they don't take reservations for brunch and it's pretty loud, but it's a really cute establishment and I was pleased with the food and service. Give it a try!!!

Our server was prompt and we ordered a few of the crazy fun dishes. I had the Love me tender dish which was a waffle with peanut butter, caramelized banana, bacon and a maple bourbon syrup. So when my family and I were walking around downtown Grand Rapids and needed a place to eat breakfast, we popped into Social Misfits because their menu is basically 90% waffles. My kids love waffles. Every kid loves waffles. Waffles it is! This is a great restaurant for families (because ... waffles), but also a great restaurant for adults because they have a nice selection of creative cocktails in the evening, and coffee in the morning. Social Misfits is basically waffles, alcohol and caffeine, in that order. When we visited in the morning, the adults opted for coffee (really great black coffee!) and the kids both opted for the Little Lad, a waffle topped with strawberries, blueberries and chantilly cream (basically whipped cream, but a little sweeter and whipped a little longer). Both of my children ate most of their waffle, which is a big thing, considering they usually eat like birds. We also got the Son of a Biscuit, which was a garlic parmesan waffle topped with chicken sausage gravy and a fried egg. You could add fried chicken to the mix for an extra $6 (we did not). This one was fine, but the egg was way overcooked! Oh well. Lastly: We got the Ol' Blue Eyes, a waffle topped with blueberry compote, lemon curd, whipped ricotta and graham cracker crumbs. This one tasted amazing, but there was so much blueberry compote and lemon curd that it made the waffle a bit soggy. I think the chef was feeling generous with the toppings, but homie needed to hold back a tad. Sometimes, a little bit goes a long way! Fifty percent less gloppy stuff would have made this waffle dish 100% better. If you ain't really about that waffle life, then not to worry. Social Misfits also has a few "not waffles" items on the menu, like salads, sandwiches and a couple of bar snacks. But I think if you visit this restaurant, you need to just embrace waffles. There are more than a dozen different waffles on the menu. They're all fun and well-thought-out. Pick one and eat waffles for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Honestly it was an incredible location for a space and had such a great vibe inside. My best friend is a regular at the restaurant and we're hoping to see them more in smaller capacities like when we saw them at the Fulton St. Market. Overall, the food was really good. I like the concept of fast-casual dining without the need to have a server. I think it allows things to feel more casual and allowed for me to be more willing to eat there (obviously in other circumstances lol). I got the horchata hot cakes with some of the papas with ghost sauce. I thought the pancakes were GREAT and more than worth it for the price. I was surprised how large and fluffy they were. The flavor was great without being too sweet and none of the flavors being too overpowering. My friends got the breakfast sandwiches and chaichata drinks and absolutely loved them. My friend loved her drink so much she got two within the span of us eating. I know it's a hard time for local businesses but I'm hoping there are more ways we can still see them around.

Different from the last time I was here but we were told to find a seat upon entering and that when we were ready, we could order our food at the counter. I looked over their menu and found lots of good breakfast taco options, the breakfast burrito I have heard is great, but what really caught my attention was the biscuits and gravy. I was feeling quite ravenous this morning and got the full order for $11 and a side of bacon. They had a table close to the entrance with extra menus, clean cups, water jugs, hot sauces, silverware and napkins. Seemed like a help-yourself vibe which I grabbed everything we would need for our meal. Our food was brought to us rather quickly and my bf ordered the breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs and sausage. He told me it tasted so good and he loved that he could make his own tacos with his food. He let me try one of the hashbrown rounds and it was perfectly crispy! My biscuits and gravy were phenomenal. The biscuits were so fresh and the gravy had a really nice and comforting flavor to it. You could get chorizo and mushrooms in your gravy but i went with a traditional sausage for my protein. My bacon on the side came in a tiny dish but I ate all four pieces haha. Once we finished, there were some bus bins under the same table with the silverware, we placed all our dirty dishes there and cleaned up after ourselves before leaving. I honestly felt so content leaving there and can't wait to return. I really appreciate the ambiance in there with the beautiful plant life, the lights on the ceiling, and cool decor in general. The staff was also SO NICE! Wins everywhere. I also noticed people coming in for takeout which is good to know in case I don't feel like dining in some morning. Please check this place out sometime if you're in the mood for some really good breakfast that doesn't break your bank account.
