Tons of brightly lot streamers & holiday decor- no surface left untouched.

Holiday decor at Germantown is the most FUN! This was done by colorful owners & staff. Excellent dinner & atmosphere.

A friend took me here for a light bite, I love the ambiance and the smell of bbq when you walk in was Amazzzzing! Outside patio is gorgeous. Taco Tuesday deal was 2 street tacos for $12 Really nice happy hour offerings but I found the mocktails super impressive, I could easily want everything on the menu, it all sounded delicious! I had the burnt ends taco and a chicken taco both were well seasoned, flavourful & portioned for a light bite, and the pineapple, blackberry mule was out of this world good with a deep purple hue.

1/4 pretzel left over. Too big for us to finish!

Had a really good visit to WRB today. Place is decorated beautifully for Christmas! Came in for a pretzel and we have to come back again to enjoy all the decor. Waitress was very nice, pretzel was great as usual. Shout out to y'all for the smoked turkey breast we ordered for Thanksgiving. It was fantastic! We ate every bit, and even made a turkey pot pie!

I have officially found my favorite dish here! Don't get me wrong everything I've gotten so far has been great, but the brisket and grits is just on point! If you can't tell by now I do love grits and how cheesy it is. Pair that with a meat that just melts in your mouth and some pickled green tomatoes... it just leaves me lost for words. Adrianna was our server this time and always her service was great. Very attentive when we needed refills and made sure to ask if we wanted the cornbread waffle.

Nice dinner at Wolf River, excellent selection of bourbon... Bookers available at $24 a pour 3 meat plate was solid although the sliced brisket was dry. The sausage and burnt ends were phenomenal as was the Brussels sprouts....yes I said Brussels sprouts. I Recommend WRB

A different fare and pleasant ambiance, we were well taken care of. In a geographic area where pork BBQ is everywhere, WRB provides a different alternative, and it's well done. From the brisket and burnt tips, to the cornbread waffles, our meal was solid. The only disappointment was the chicken placed atop my Caesar salad where about 25% was gristle. The salad was good tho. In fairness, I am not a complainer so I didn't send it back. Also in fairness, the server who saw the chicken left behind didn't acknowledge the fatty leftover. We all enjoyed our time together and the food good. Try it sometime.

I had an awesome experience at WRB. I went in with a group for dinner and they were super kind and accommodating to our large party. We started out with the Three Meat Sampler. It included: sliced brisket (4 oz) burnt ends (6 oz) smoked sausage served with mac & cheese, choice of side and bread (the bread is a waffle shaped cornbread) and it is delicious. We also had the Smoked Wings! 10 tossed in house rub served with choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing. They are so good and super flavorful and juicy. The side salads were also fresh and crisp. There are other items I want to try. I can't wait to go back!

This place was pretty good I got the sampler since it was my first time and I'm glad I got to try the different meats. Pulled chicken - wasn't really what I was searching for but they gave me a generous portion and I'm sure plenty would love it Brisket - thick and juicy brisket that almost falls apart in your mouth. I'll bet you will like it. Burnt ends were good but mine were cold so I think it could've been a lot better. But! The main reason I gave them 4 stars is the freaking mind blowing Mashed potatoes. I swear it's hard to not go back and get just the mashed potatoes. They alone will be the reason I go back. No lie.

Is this a good place for a large group (10-15)?

Yes, they can accommodate a large group. They would have to put sum tables together. The Collierville location would be cramped but I think the southaven location will work. The food is delicious. I would say, give them a call for a heads up.

Server: Server had an attitude from the start. She had a cold, unfriendly, unwelcoming demeanor (Sarah did not come by even once to check on how we were doing mid meal. No words, just an angry look each time she we saw her - completely unacceptable at this price point!). We arrived early so despite it being Mother's Day the place was quite empty. No crowds, no excuse for such bad service. This is the main reason for this bad review. Portions: Small. The $28 octopus appetizer is the smallest portion size on record I've ever been served anywhere on North America, Europe or Asia. Pricing: The fine dining experience in lacking in too many areas to justify this price point. You're essentially paying a premium for mood lighting, a white table cloth in a cramped space, and an attitude of trying hard without actually hitting any of the marks. Would not dine here ever again. So disappointed. Poor choice for Mother's Day or any special occasion.

But sadly they're only open for dinner and no longer lunch. The hostess was a bit standoffish when we arrived. Not really friendly at all. I will also note when we made the reservation a few days in advance, that during the call I got placed on hold probably half a dozen times. Super annoying. And on top of it all, our advance reservation only got us a seat in the bar area and not even the main dining room. My kid wanted the prime rib but it is only on Saturdays and possibly on holidays like New Years. They do have a kids menu. But you gotta ask for it. It comes with a drink. But the drink was just soda or tea. I was kinda hoping for some non-caffeinated options for my kid. But we decided on the Diet Coke which honestly tasted a bit like Dr. Pepper. The kids chicken Alfredo was ok. I liked the sauce which was thick and creamy. The chicken on top was kinda tough and overcooked however. My dad just got the toasted ravioli appetizer. It was kinda soft an undercooked. Not very toasted at all. I wished it was crunchier like some of the photos made it look. The meat in the middle also tasted weird. Kinda mushy with a not-so-pleasant taste. Not sure what meat it is. The chicken parmigiana was just meh. It was on a bed of thin spaghetti that was not even warm. I paid extra to get it with their "famous" meat sauce. But I didn't see any meat in there at all. I asked what kind of meat is in the meat sauce, and they oh chicken and stuff. My dad's toasted ravioli also came with their famous meat sauce and although it was chunkier than the meat sauce on my parmigiana, I'm not convinced any of those chunks was meat. The check came while my dad was still eating. Not very cool for a classier place like this. So the bill came out to $58. Tax and tip in Tennessee kicks it up another 30%. So $70-$80 for just an appetizer, a kids meal and an entree. That's with no drinks or dessert. Not gonna lie, kinda pricey for what we got. It's a nice environment. But honestly huge disappointment overall from both a food and service standpoint.

Lane 24 for 1 hour, 3 pairs of shoes for $30.00. I thought this was very reasonable. I'm not really sure what the price breakdown was for the lanes and the shoes, but I kind of expected 30 for the hour and more for shoes. The equipment, whatever its called, however it works, performed properly, and we didn't lose any of our time we paid for waiting for malfunctions to be corrected. When I got there,I wanted beer. There happened to be a line that seemed to take forever, there were two bartenders, but the good news is that I was able to buy 3 beers at once, and I was given a bucket of ice, so I never had to wait in the line again. The weird thing is, the bartender thought it necessary to remove all the beer caps at once. They checked my id and gave me a wrist band, which I suspect is a way to prevent a purchaser from sharing with underage teens. Or rather,a way to catch underage drinkers. The arcade was very antiquated. There is a photo booth that charges 3 bucks for a single picture. I thought these were obsolete. Who wants a 3 dollar selfie????? The arcade also was small. There were a couple games not working which took our money. There are signs saying you are shit out of luck losing money to a machine that steals because they don't own the machines. This is such BS. I bet they own the money that goes into the machines. Besides, someone owns the machines. Actually I really don't care who owns what, the bottom line is that if there are machines that only take money and do not perform, it is basically theft to leave them open to the public and deny any responsibility without even removing the machine from service. The arcade was also too small and the games were old. There is a bar that is separated from the rest of the building for the grown ups to hang out in. Bad thing is, this would be perfect for smokers, but sorry, not allowed. There was an armed security guard. Don't know how much protection he could actually provide, or if he is actually full time, but there was no sign on the door restricting citizens from carrying their own weapons. I drank three beers. I was unarmed. But I would be willing to bet there were at least a dozen firearms inside. I was able to feel comfortable having children and an infant. I think the guy bowling next to us had something under his shirt. I look forward to returning another night. We did not try the skating. It's been over 20 years, but it does sound fun.

The metal shelves at the bar that store the booze are bad ass. It's warm and cozy and has a great vibe overall. The last time we sat on the enclosed patio. I had not sat out there before. I think the larger tables all go out there. We had seven and there was another group of about twenty in the same room with us. Food ranges from fairly good to fucking great. I've never had anything bad here, but a few sighs have been had, mostly by misunderstood expectations of what I was getting I would say. So, quite possibly I am the problem. As with most of my problems, actually... The oysters Rockefeller are very different from the norm. Fried oysters on a side of spinach. That's what it seems like. I ate it up, don't get me wrong. I did just switch to only fried oysters after the first one. No need wasting stomach space on spinach. Charbroiled oysters is always a good move and the preparation remains traditional on that one. I do find the oysters to be quite massive and hard to chew the whole thing at once. Cutting them just seems silly though. Steaks are prepared very well and to your liking each time. I have never had a bad one. Good flavor too. I am going to spring on the Hawaiian Ribeye the next time I go on my dime. It's a classic that I remember from Steak and Ale as well as Houston's. Both now gone from Memphis. I like the she crab soup an awful lot, and just about every entree I have had here is killer. You really cannot go wrong with the food. Just order something you normally like and boom. I will also say this. The short ribs I had last time were some of the best I have ever had. Bravo on that! Additionally, I had two giant pieces for like $40! I could only eat one of them after all of the appetizers. Oh.... Yea. They have a hot lobster roll that is good! You don't see that in Memphis very often!! Get you some. Wait.... Lamb Lollipops. They have evolved some of the years but they have really good lamb chops. They used to be the exact same dish as their sister concepts of Itta Bena, BB Kings, and Lafayette's. I am not sure if the whole family still has the old version or not. Here it has changed a good bit. As I write this, I crave it.... Ugh. Damn your foods and your seductive prowess food skills! Lastly, Tommy Peters did great things for this city's food scene. I am sad that he is gone but I know he was proud of this one! Ok. That's enough, Adam.... No one reads this crap anyway. '26 - 48
