Been here several times and always enjoy. For mud island the prices feel pretty reasonable and food is always tasty. Decent veg/pescatarian options too. Service has always been good whether it be dining room, bar or outdoors. Outdoors is really nice too, on not too hots days you can look at the river. I don't live on the island anymore but I would go back.

My friend picked this place. He said the burgers were good so I had to try one. The burger was good. I liked that it wasn't too sweet. Everything else here was just ok but my wife seemed like she liked it. To me the loaded fries weren't loaded enough. The pasta my wife got was decent but it was just ok too. I don't think I would come back unless the same friend invited me.

    Tugs . . , Neighborhood casual dining!! Let's go!!

Tugs in my opinion is a neighborhood restaurant that everyone on mud island and beyond enjoys!! We went to celebrate a colleagues birthday and had a great time. We ordered drinks and a few appetizers. I love the lettuce wraps and spinach & artichoke dip and that's exactly what we ordered. I'm on a diet, so I requested the celery and carrots to dip!! Armani was our server and she was super professional, fun, and engaging!! We enjoyed her presence and her service. I recommend Tugs for a casual and fun evening with family and friends.

Food is always good. We love the catfish but tried the burger this time and it was very good. Service is always great and we love the vibe in harbor town.

The food was really good! I had spinach dip to start with and Cajun pasta for my entree. The spinach dip was super creamy and seasoned just right. I love the breadcrumb topping and the bread used to dip with. It was a treat within itself, baked to perfection and buttery soft. The pasta was just as good. It had just the right portion and just the right amount of Cajun seasoning. It was very filling and enough for me to take home for seconds. Yes, they are providing social distancing methods to make customers feel safe. We had to use the scanner on our phones to access the menu, used plastic wear, and sat 6 feet apart from other guest.

Decent cheeseburger & fries. Standard Greek salad; pub atmosphere with TVs to catch games. Attentive service.

Tugs has finally priced us out. A $17 hamburger is not happening. Its just a neighborhood pub.

Service was excellent, but the food was subpar, bland pasta, full of butter. The waitress was very attentive.

I thought that was a really dope idea that you have to walk in and then walk behind whatever you think it's supposed to be there to find the actual bar. When you come in the building is kind of dark. But when you walk back to the bar, it's super white and lit. It looks beautiful! We talked to the owner for a little bit, he was super nice and super friendly. My drink was good. Customer service was pretty good as well. We got there too late to where there was no food, but that's not why we were coming. This is a nice little hidden gem. That's the way the owner described it! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I choose the shrimp tacos and truffle parmesan fries. Now the shrimp tacos and truffle parmesan fries were so appealing! That plating skills were fantastic!! Now I'm looking pretty, sitting pretty and about to eat pretty! The shrimp tacos were fresh, seasoned to perfection and they had the nerve to warm them flour shells!! By now I to dig in them truffle fries! Now I asked the waiter was the fries in Truffle Oil or truffle seasoning? She told me it's a truffle oil they use!! I was so excited if you don't know about Truffle Oil vs Truffle seasoning, please use Google right now! By far the waiter knew the menu AND the ingredients!! Them darn truffle fries was absolutely delicious!! Cooked not too hard not too soft! Tossed LIGHTLY in truffle oil now to over power the parmesan!! Let not forget to give the vibe and groove credit to DJ Juice that played all genre music and kept my knees hurting!!

The female bartender was on it--friendly, fast, and she introduced me to my new signature drink, the Hold On To Your Britches. If you like a sweet cocktail, prepare to fall in love. I only needed a small bite, so I tried the grilled cheese... and honestly, it was silly good. The kind of good that ruins all future grilled cheeses. Trust me: get it. Visit #2: Stopped in just for drinks. Still good, but service was slooooow. I would've ordered another round, but eventually tapped out. Visit #3: Visited for Downtown Dining Week. The Caesar salad was basically lettuce in a monologue--no cheese, no croutons, just lonely leaves in dressing. Entrées tasted good but were tiny. My pasta was so spicy I couldn't finish it, but the short ribs with mashed potatoes were legitimately delicious. When I go back for visit #4 (and I will), I'm sticking with what BarWare does best: that fruity cocktail and the holy-grail grilled cheese. The ambiance and seating options are too good to stay away, even if the service and a couple dishes miss the mark now and then.

The service was great and the drinks were even better. We tried the Mai Tai, porn star martini , frosted Jake to name a few. The star of the show for me was the Frosted Jake. It was very refreshing surprisedly. And a huge shoutout to our bartender - I believe her name was Max!!!! Keep her on board. She is everything and so nice. Don't miss this spot at all.

The place is small but inviting. The music playing through the speakers was like they had my spotify synced. All of my favs were playing. (Shoutout to whoever was respnaible for Melanie Fiona album The Bridge being in rotation. That's one of my favs). We were all pretty hungry so we ordered The Cameo Cheesburger and fries. It's a really nice sized burger and definitely will help soak up the "liquor" lol. From 4-7pm you get half off selected classic cocktails. I started with a French 75 and it definitely did its job. There is a cocktail on the menu called Rage Quit ($10) which simply states secret and danger. Well we decided to all try that and let's just say the danger snuck up on us lol I also had a Cosmo which was delicious as well. By this time we are felling really good but need to use the bathroom. We then discover there is a photobooth in the back area. It was pretty comical trying to get all 3 of us in the frame. We chatted with the staff afterwards to let them know that the we had a great experience. If you're looking for a nice happy hour spot, I highly suggest Cameo.
