Nestled downtown lies a cute little restaurant. A tailor will greet you at the door and welcome you in to the first room, a classic bar area. Ask for the tour

Overall great vibe! The atmosphere is perfect for a grown and sexy date night. Was a little disappointed that they didn't have crab cakes or hummus when I went. Also be advised, the service was a little slow for food and drinks, but once we got our order, I had a smile back on my face. If you like "girlie" drinks I recommend Lavender Buttons and Tyrone's Sangria . Also the Long Island was nice and strong.

This is the spot at the Memphis has been missing and it may be a little to progressive for the city. The upstairs is open to the public with full bar and kitchen. However the downstairs is reserved for members only. Membership includes live entertainment, a cigar room, members only events with complementary cocktails, and a free cigar per month. As a member, they also validate your parking and give you a metal membership card adding a level of prestige. Management is great and the food is great. There is a dress code that includes college shirts or jackets and appropriate wear for women.

Was very pleasantly surprised by this downtown establishment. Came here before a grizzlies game during the week for a cocktail and food and was surprised to see it wasn't more busy. It's very well lit in the bar area but the high booths still give you a sense of privacy. I had the French Cuff and my friend had the champagne cocktail, both on their Bespoke Originals menu. Both were light and refreshing. It was nice to see a cocktail menu of items other than martinis. We ordered the Wagyu Sliders which were perfectly cooked and the truffle fries. Both were very good. We will definitely be coming back to try their new seasonal items!

The vibe felt like a speakeasy turned restaurant. While larger than a traditional speakeasy, it still managed to feel cozy, intimate and inviting. Shortly after we were seated, the restaurant manager stopped by our table. My sister asked for cocktail recommendations... if you're a cocktail fan, you're in for a treat. Their signature cocktails were thoughtfully crafted and exceptionally well-balanced. We went with their spicy margaritas. As for the food, I could have easily ordered a second helping of the Cajun Abita shrimp appetizer and called it dinner. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned, and the sauce was outstanding. The accompanying beer bread was equally delicious...slightly reminiscent of cornbread but with its own unique flavor. My sister and I weren't huge fans of the She Crab Soup. It was simply too rich and creamy for our tastes. One bite was enough for us although my dad seemed to enjoy it. The Blue Window Wedge Salad is their take on a classic wedge which was spectacular. It will be hard to find another wedge salad that measures up. The sweet potato pecan casserole was good but it felt like it was missing something that we couldn't quite put our finger on what. The maple bacon Brussels sprouts were a table favorite...perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. My dad and sister both enjoyed the braised beef, which was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. To finish, we shared the white chocolate bread pudding and it was absolutely delicious. In fact, the table next to us seemed to enjoy theirs just as much. Overall, this was a wonderful dining experience with great service, a memorable atmosphere, excellent cocktails and standout dishes. I'd happily return the next time I'm headed downtown.

Love the speakeasy entrance off the side alley steps. It's everything you would want in a dining experience. Get the she crab soup!

Here's a clean, strong review that keeps your energy: Hands down one of the best spots in town. The beer selection is top-tier--something for everyone, whether you're into classics or trying something new. The food is next level, especially the fries... easily top 3 I've ever had. Crispy, flavorful, and addictive. The atmosphere seals the deal: great music, high energy, and the fact that they're open until 3am is a game changer. Best part? The service is always on point. Staff is friendly, fast, and actually cares about the experience.

One of the Worst Customer Service Experiences I've Had After…read moreattending a Pride event and visiting from out of town, my friend and I stopped by Bar Dogs late at night/early in the morning on June 7th, hoping to grab some food before heading back to our hotel. Unfortunately, we were met with one of the rudest bartenders I've ever encountered. As soon as we sat down at the bar, the bartender--a Caucasian woman with a short haircut whose name I unfortunately didn't get--greeted us with an attitude that immediately made us feel unwelcome. Instead of providing friendly service, she was dismissive, impatient, and rushed us through placing our to-go order. She informed us that we could not eat at the bar, which was completely fine. We agreed without any issue and ordered our food to go. However, when my food arrived, I simply opened the container to make sure my order was correct before leaving. She immediately rushed back over and aggressively said, "Didn't I tell you that you could not eat at the bar?" I hadn't taken a single bite--I was only checking my order. Rather than politely clarifying the policy, she continued to scold us and make us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by being there. We still hadn't even received my friend's food, yet she seemed more interested in lecturing us than providing basic customer service. Once my friend's food finally arrived, we left as quickly as possible. As visitors in town celebrating Pride, we expected a welcoming atmosphere and basic courtesy. Instead, we experienced hostility, impatience, and a complete lack of professionalism. There's a huge difference between enforcing a policy and treating customers with disrespect, and this bartender clearly doesn't understand that distinction. The food may have been fine, but the service was so unpleasant that I would never return or recommend Bar Dogs to anyone looking for a friendly place to eat or have a drink. Customer service training is desperately needed.
