Super cute rooftop location with amazing views. Dj spun jams that added to the vibe. Ample seating is available if you arrive early enough. Indoor seating at the bar, as well as inside. The outdoor seating provides you with a nice backdrop of the Mississippi River and downtown area. We ordered food and drinks at the bar. Prices are reasonable. I had a blackberry lemon drop and later a passion fruit one . Both were amazing. The charcuterie board was a nice appetizer choice. The calamari and waffle fries were slightly cold upon arrival to the table. Service was good, but wait times picked up as the night went on due to larger crowd. We had an amazing time and can't wait to visit again. Parking is limited due to ongoing renovations in the area. However you can find garages in the area. Mlgw garage is right across the street. Note: There is a dress code

Super cute rooftop by the bridge. looks better at night but i didn't get a picture. drinks are about $15 each not too bad. the service was quick and there was seating inside and outside as we went before sunset.

Happy hour. Actually starts at 4pm

OVERRATED. Yeah the rooftop is cute but nothing to see everything in sight is under construction. Im surprised its open in the winter months. Only one fire pit was on. Went in at 5pm on a weekday this place was empty! By empty i mean it was only me and a friend. Drinks were good but not enough to bring me back. PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS. So many taxes added on a $15 dollar drink it cost me $23 in the end. Not worth the price. The bartenders said the TDZ surcharge is a hotel tax. And the other two are taxes for the ZONE downtown. There isn't even taxes like this in Miami. *20% Gratuity included*

Let me just start by saying I am not at all a bar/lounge person, but I wanted to step out of my comfort zone on my date night with hubby and I saw this fairly new spot on Yelp. It's located inside the Hyatt hotel downtown on Beale. Well, I ended up loving it!! Mature crowd and a very good DJ. Music was spot on all night. It was an awesome vibe and I really enjoyed myself. The rooftop part outside has its own separate vibe from the inside and if it wasn't so chilly last night, I would've stayed out there and enjoyed the views all night. There is a fire pit outside that you can cozy up to if you so choose. We will definitely be back once it gets a little warmer. I had a really good time.

I know y'all have heard of the bee rooftop bar called Beck and Call @beckandcallmemphis. Well tonight I had the pleasure of going there and it is def a vibeeeee! The rooftop. The drinks . Alll dat. Literally this cute hotel just steps away from the Mississippi River and right up the street from Beale st. This is a great spot for a cute date night , a night out in the town or just a nice place to lounge out while in this nice Memphis weather! All in all this Is probably my fav place for a good drink with the best views of downtown. #eeeats #restaurants #foodblogger #foodie #localfood #travelgram #foodporn #foodiesofinstagram #foodlover #memphisfood #foodie #review #foodlover #explorepage #memphis #blackfoodblogger #blackfoodie

This place was a vibe. Great roof top views, tasty libations, exceptional service and just a wonderful atmosphere overall. We came for drinks after having dinner somewhere else. You can find them on top of the Hyatt hotel. You can chill inside in the bar area or go outside and enjoy the views overlooking downtown Memphis while sitting around the fire pit. You can't go wrong with either option. If you haven't checked them out what are you waiting for?

I went to Beck and Call to celebrate a friend's birthday. Reasons to go : - Ambiance - Live DJ - Private section for events - Beautiful view from the rooftop - The appetizers were delicious -Alternative dining options in the lobby Reasons that took away from the experience: - Terrible parking options . The valet is only for overnight guests although the website does not specify that - The valet team is inattentive and unfriendly - Our party was in a private section , but other people not related to the party could walk thru the area to get to another side of the venue - They require you to start a tab or pay with cash - Very pricy - two cocktails and an order of wings was $70. - It's no signage or guidance pointing guests to the correct elevator for the rooftop entrance . The other elevators require a key card. -

The waitstaff was practically nonexistent and took over 30 min to make 3 drinks. They didn't have anyone to serve them, most had to go to the bar, wait for their order and carry them themselves. They got the drink orders incorrect and when I asked if the bar food I ordered would be enough for the 6 of us in my party, they said absolutely. Instead it was barely enough for one person. Looks like the Hyatt is understaffing them and not taking care of what could be a great tourist attraction.

I enjoyed my birthday brunch downstairs at CIMAS...typical local Sunday brunch vibes. We requested the best view in the house overlooking the Mississippi River and the hostess was happy to accommodate us. Afterwards, we moseyed our way to the elevator to check out the Rooftop Bar, Beck & Call and fell in love with the sexy, exclusive atmosphere. We chose the perfect Fall afternoon to have a photoshoot near this vibrant mural. Too bad we arrived too early to enjoy the live band and urban professionals. No complaints here. I shall return! Go check'em out! You won't be disappointed. Cheers!

Recently hosted a happy hour for a convention at the hotel at Beck and Call on a Thursday evening. The arrangement was anyone with a wristband would be on 1 tab. Unfortunately the lazy staff didn't want to work and 85% of the attendees were denied access to the space. They were told the space as at max capacity. When I was finally granted access (after asking the concierge to call management directly) the space had about 50 people in it. With empty seats at the bar!!!I've hosted events there that were triple in size. And the max occupancy for the space is 351. The bartenders were rude and put out that they had to do actual work. The drinks are WAY over priced. The AC is almost non existent. The security working the elevator was in the biggest saddest power trip I've ever seen. If they continue to operative this way I dont See them being open long term.

Downtown Memphis has been severely lacking in the number of bars and restaurants with views of the Mighty Mississippi, so I was very excited to see Beck & Call open on the rooftop of the new Hyatt Centric. The view is amazing, and the interior decor is modern and airy, which goes well with the expansive view. I ordered the Blood Orange Cosmo and suffered a bit of sticker shock at the $16 price tag, but man-oh-man this was a strong drink. I still think it was overpriced, but they weren't skimping on the vodka. And despite how stout it was, the blood orange flavor was still very present. I really liked how many local beers and other Memphis drinks were on the menu. I tried the "I'm In Love With the CoCo" hard seltzer from Grind City Brewing. I can't believe I haven't had a coconut-flavored seltzer yet, but it was so good. It's such a light and refreshing drink for summer. The only negative part of our visit was at the elevator in the lobby, where a security guard informed us that one member of our party was not adhering to the dress code and therefore could not enter. I'm still not sure what exactly the dress code violation was. We were disappointed but didn't want to cause a scene, so we started walking away to find another place. We then heard a whistle and turned around to see the security guard motioning us back to the hotel entrance. He told us that as long as the member of our party who was not adhering to the dress code didn't cause any problems, we could enter. But if she did, we would be banned from the bar for life. I'm fairly certain he was joking, but it was such an uncomfortable exchange, especially for the women in our group. Once we got to the rooftop, it was obvious to see that the dress code was being selectively enforced. I understand wanting to maintain an upscale atmosphere, but if you can't enforce a moderately ambiguous dress code, you shouldn't have one. My recommendation if you go: call ahead to make sure you have the most up-to-date dress code and can dress accordingly. Thankfully, everything else about our experience was great. I will definitely return anytime friends or family want to enjoy the river.

It's such a nice space and vibe. But they add so many tax and fees to the bill, it feels exploitative. I basically paid $50 for a burger and a drink sitting at the bar. Won't be returning. Not worth it.

Nice rooftop spacious and plenty of seating. I recommend this spot for a nice social evening out.

The first drink on the menu (can't remember the name) but includes tequila. They said it's one of the most popular drinks! Made by Chris

I ordered the shrimp tossed in chili teriyaki sauce, as listed on the menu. The shrimp were fried extremely hard and arrived cold. Instead of being properly tossed in sauce, there was only a minimal drizzle on a few pieces, which made the dish feel incomplete and not as described. The catfish nuggets and fries were just okay--again, both arrived cold, which seems to be a consistent issue with food temperature. The bar experience was also disappointing. The green tea shots were not made correctly, and the "double" shot of Jack Daniels was poured more like a single. In addition, the menu did not include any drink options or pricing. While the waiter mentioned they have a full bar, having a drink menu (even a basic one) would make ordering much easier and more enjoyable, especially for guests looking to try something new. Service-wise, the waiter was clearly overwhelmed and not very available, but when she did come to the table, she was very kind and pleasant. No complaints about her attitude--just a staffing or management issue. Overall, there's definitely potential here, but improvements are needed in food temperature, menu accuracy, and bar consistency to elevate the experience.
