Really impressed with these guys! Just now I accidently locked my keys in my car. Looked on yelp, saw these guys being close to where I was at. Gave them a call, they came in about half an hour, they unlocked my door, gave me the keys, flat fee of 75 dollars, done! Easy breezy! After losing my only key/remote to my car I called around to get quotes on replacing it. Wise not only had the best price but was able to come out and get my key made right away. A tech named Moses came out and got 2 keys programmed for me very quickly and was very nice. Unfortunatley my car wouldn't start with these keys, we both thought there was something wrong with my car. I talked with my mechanic and he talked with his people and we figured out that I needed an alarm remote to shut off my alarm completely (like my original key was)...anyways SUPER long story short...They got the problem figured out. We decided to overnight the new remote head key and Moses was out right away to program the new key and remote. I got a phone call when Moses was done to make sure everything was taken care of and to come in to get another copy of my new key made. Everyone I dealt with wsa so friendly and kind. I have never been disrespected so much by a store owner. He told me over the phone that I could have a refund, and when I went to go get one, I was met with hostility. First he told me to go to bothell so they can "deal" with it, even though I just drove from them. Then he tells me "if you yell at me you can get out of my store! I had 500 people yelling at me" I wasn't even raising my voice, even if I WAS, there is no reason for him to be so unprofessional. Then the store owner says "you have one more chance" I was so shocked I walked out of the store. Then I called, saying I thought the store was opened until 10 pm. He hung up on me, when I was called back I asked specifically for the bothell location. He said "this is the guy you hang up on all the time" I hung up on him once, because he screamed at me to get out of store, he made me uncomfortable, and scared. Being a business owner, you should NOT hung up on a CLIENT for no reason. My reason was that he yelled at me so much in the store it made he nervous to be on the phone with him. Then he said, he only be doing business with my parent, because they did not want to "upset me anymore" I am the customer, this is my car. And now the store owner is saying they do not want to business with me after yelling at me, and disrespecting me to get out of the store when I wasn't even causing a ruckus or anything. Even unprofessional, very rude, unwelcoming. I wish I could have had a good experience like all those other comments I see! 0 out of 10 for rudeness, and making a client cry. WOW! I had such a great experience with Wise Locksmith. I had gotten my car stolen and the people who stole it messed up the ignition key, so I went straight to Wise Locksmith. Josh, the guy I worked with throughout the whole ordeal, was absolutely fantastic. He walked me through everything he was going to do, and when we had issues (which we did, but they weren't his fault), he was sure to follow up with me via phone consistently to ensure I came back so he could fix it. When the deadbolt on my door broke and I was unable to get in, and the landlord's locksmith vendor didn't show up, Chris was the first locksmith in 11 that I called that actually answered his phone. He showed up in thirty minutes as advertise and was very friendly and professional. He was able to handle the remarkably ancient locks that are on this building, and one irate neighbor that insisted on being threatening. Stopped in here because my car's remote was dead and I saw that they sold new keyless remotes. They charged me 69 dollas plus tax for the remote and he wanted to charge me 2% for using a credit card (who does that?). after some haggling they let me not pay the 2%. I then went home and looked on amazon at what these remotes cost and they were $4.95!! I was thinking I was paying a premium for buying it from a local business which I am 100% on board with but that is a HUGE markup. I would recommend not buying these remotes there. Love this guy! Called on a Sunday with an ignition that wouldn't turn. Gave me free advice over the phone on how to get the key to turn so that I at least could get it started. He would have come over but saved me the service charge of coming out on a Sunday. Obviously very knowledgeable and honest. Will be getting my ignition serviced there tomorrow. Kind of disappointing. I had them out to replace a broken deadbolt. They were over an hour late (yes they did call, but they were still late). I also felt that they had some "hidden" fees that were added to the initial quote. In speaking with local law enforcement, they referred to Wise as "Oh, the crazy locksmith guy, we get calls about that wacko all the time!!!" We called after being locked out, the guy told me he'd be there by 9:30 am. Which was great. We ended up finding another way in but in a rush to try and be to work on time forgot to call to cancel. Then the man arrives at our house at 9:40 ready to unlock, we apologize, he leaves, no big deal. A couple of hours pass and there is a knock at the door, we open and a video camera is stuck in our face with a man shouting at us that we are going to pay him or be sued and go to collections. No introduction of what company he is with, no "I'm going to be video taping you on your own private property", no Hi, I'm from Wise locksmith you need to pay a service call fee. What a great experience! Spent over two weeks looking for someone to open a antique cedar chest and almost paid a Kirkland guy $120 to open something that Wise did in 5 minutes and for no charge. worse business EVER! obviously something is wrong here.. i couldn't get details from the guy over the phone when i asked him some question he just said he can do everything and if i want he can be at my house that same afternoon.. so i said ok and when he showed up and saw what i needed he just said "your locks are too old and i can't rekey, only replace with new locks and it will cost 465$ (!) (for 2 dead bolts and a door knob simple lock) and he told me that this price is for cash only and if i will pay credit it will be 520$. so i just said no thanks and asked him to leave my house so he started to yell at me in my own house that i wasted his time and now i need to pay him 75$ for the visit. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! read more

Had them order and install a Medeco lock. After an issue with the initial install, the owner came over and went WAY above and beyond to make sure everything was done the way I wanted it. This is a business that clearly cares about making the customer happy. read more

My wife is in real estate and has successfully used Wise Locksmith in the past. So I thought I'd use them for rekeying a rental unit of ours. I was clear to the scheduler that it was for a rental unit where I left a key lock box on the door and gave them the passcode to the lockbox. The scheduler did not have a problem with the plan. On the scheduled date they for some reason couldn't find my unit so they left. I call the scheduler back, reconfirmed the information they already had written down and they said they would be out the next day. The owner Chris is able to find the unit this time and gives me a call when he arrives. Chris tells me it is their policy that they cannot rekey without the owner on premise in order to avoid theft. I can understand the policy and it makes sense, but it would have been rather nice to know when I told the scheduler I wouldn't be there. Chris mentions I have to be onsite or he'll walk away from the job. I certainly was annoyed, but told him to "OK, walk away then" and nothing more. My phone history shows this was at 12:19PM. My renter calls me at 3:06PM and tells me there is a key broken off in the lock of the door, preventing him from getting into the home. Chris with Wise Locksmith says he didn't see a key broken off in the lock when he was there and had no knowledge of how it happened. It's just an amazing coincidence that it happened within the 3 hours of him being there and not in any of the previous 11 years I've owned the home. I had to hire another locksmith that could come out immediately to let my renter in and charged me an additional $70 to remove the broken key. I should report Chris for vandalism, but without video proof and the damage only worth $70, it's certainly not worth the effort. But, I want his prospective customers to know what type of character the owner of Wise Locksmith represents. Even on the most frustrating of days, this is completely unacceptable behavior from a locksmith. read more

Locked my keys and dog in the car today in over 85 degree weather. The locksmith was out on another job and came very quickly to the car to unlock it. In less than 5 minutes, he had the car open. I asked the locksmith how much after it was all done, and he said he didn't want anything. I urged him to charge me something, I was just thrilled to get inside the car and get the dog out of the weather. He said to me "I have kids and a dog at home. I get it. Don't worry about." It's so nice to get a human when dealing with a business - something that is so foreign now-a-days. I am forever grateful, and they have won my business for any future mishaps. read more
