Very best experience with Chen as a super honest locksmith. I called in to ask for a service of replacing the old lock with a smart one. The only issue is the plate on the dead bolt would not go in unless I have to chisel the door. After my explanation he actually showed me how to swap out the plate with the ring provided by Schlage and I can finish the project as DIY. Very great experience! The WORST experience I have ever had! I used to work for a locksmith company as a dispatcher and the service/customer service I received from Co Locksmith is completely unacceptable. My appointment was scheduled for between 9AM and 11AM Saturday, February 5. At 11AM I still had not heard or seen anyone. I called the number from this Yelp page that I made my appointment and asked when to expect my technician. They had no idea they hadn't made it to my appointment and said they'd figure it out. I got a call back 15 minutes later from the technician saying he'd be here in 5 minutes. 30 minutes later he still isn't there. I call again and they say they will figure it out. I tell them I have movers scheduled for noon and if they are not there in 15 minutes they are costing me about $200/hour for my movers to standby. They apologize and say they will pass that on. I call back at noon, as I still haven't heard anything from dispatch or the tech. They say they are going to have the manager call me soon. At 12:10 the technician calls me and tells me he'll be here in 25 minutes. He arrives at 12:25. After standing around for 20 minutes, my movers left because they will miss their next job because the locksmith is so late and now taking a long time to get the lock off. The technician struggled to break the lock. I sent pictures to my friends at the locksmith company I used to work at and they informed me he could have gotten the lock off in less than half the time (it took him 35 minutes) if he used a basic lock pick set or an angle grinder. This was an extremely basic and easy lock to pick. Now I have to wait 3 more hours for my movers to return, lose $200 to my movers because I had to pay them to stand around and wait (luckily they're available to come back today), and lose $150 on the hotel room I had booked in Boise tonight, as CO's tardiness has made it impossible for me to make it there tonight. This also puts me behind for meeting my movers in Las Vegas. I called back after the locksmith left and said I was told a manager was going to call me, but I hadn't heard anything and was told to call back if I didn't hear back soon. (An hour had passed since I was told this) The man I spoke with told me the manager is off today. When I asked when I can speak to him and what number to call to speak to him, I was told he doesn't have a phone number. Save yourself time, stress and money. Go with someone else. Their entire dispatch team and operation is an embarrassment to the position and business. If the owner tries to comment back pretending that this is the wrong company like I've seen them do with all other negative reviews, I can assure you, it was CO Locksmiths. I won't share screen shots of the technicians phone number for his privacy, but I have attached my call log for CO's office so this cannot be contested on here. ------UPDATE FEBRUARY 14------ A week later and still no call back from the manager... read more

Tough to praise this company enough. We made an off hours phone call when requesting a same day change of all locks in a large house after our keys were suspected stolen. The company representatives were responsive and courteous. They arranged for a locksmith to be on site within 30 minutes. VERY pleased with the service from Chen when I locked myself out of my house for the second time in 2 months. My previous experience with a locksmith was negative--he didn't accept the coupon, charged me over $200, and didn't remove all of the internal parts from the lock--but the positive experience with Chen has changed my mind about locksmiths! I found him on yelp and called when I accidentally locked the broken door knob from the inside out. STOP! no need to look any further or anywhere else. These guys are the prime source of your local locksmith. I lost my keys to a 2010 Lexus and prices get pretty high for this vehicle just cause a locksmith hears the word "Lexus" and "2010" but not at this place. Really reasonable and realistic prices with honest opinions and advices. I'm not sure who I was talking to on the phone but they were really polite and easy to work with. Since I already had a similar key fob from a different vehicle, I wanted to program it. Other lock smiths would try to say I don't have the right serial numbers and need to only buy theirs, which they double the price on everything and don't want to hear you out. Do to my working schedule I was not able to meet with them to get it done, but they were willing to even come late at night if needed to get this done. Because each time slot he had, wouldn't work for me. I have never seen or heard any locksmith person try to go out of their way to make things happen. Luckily, I found my key and did not need to hire one, but I am still going out of my way to leave a review for these guys because they definitely deserve it. The technician took over 3 hrs to install a dead bolt on the garage to kitchen door. The installation was botched. The strike plate was too big and the door very difficult to open and closed. The wood on the door molding was cracked. The lower sill plate screw small er than the other, fell out. The upper screw was not flush with the plate. The fixture did not match the existing brushed nickel finish. The installer left after 6 PI called the supervisor the next morning. He assured me that someone would be calling me in the next 10 minutes to set up an appointment. After 1 and a half hours I called the supervisor back. No one called. He was surprised. A technician then calls in 10 minutes. He suggested 6 PM. I told him this is too late. I have taken off so I could take care of this. He came at 1:30PM for a 2-4 PM appointment. He tells me that he has been working at this company for years but does not know the installer. The first words. The first words after seeing the strike plate was "oh my god." He fixed the door closing and opening. The sill plate remained. He changed one of the screws. The tech asked me if I wanted him to paint the wood [to fix the crack]. I said I would take care of it myself. I got the impression that his man couldn't leave fast enough after I said that. Since then, the supervisor has not followed up in any way to see if we are satisfied with the service. This is not a professional installation at all to say the least. We chose this company because of high cores on Yelp. Follow up. The owner calls a month later. He is very apologetic and wants to do anything to make us happy quid pro quo if I remove this Yelp review. He promises to make things right. If not he says I can make an even worse review. He makes an appointment to come over to our home. At the appointed time, he never shows up. I call the company to tell them that my wife is very upset. He never shows up. I never get a follow up conversation or communication since. read more

I had a lockset in my home that was extremely hard to operate, and which didn't respond to my usual home remedies. I took photos, described the problem on line, and got an almost immediate response, even though it was on a weekend and I had said I didn't have an emergency. Omer called me on Monday as I had requested, and came right over. He explained what was going on, told me I needed a new set (I suspected I was going to need this) and said he would look for one that was as similar as possible to my original. In a very short time, he texted me a picture, then brought it over so I could see what I thought. I was pleased with this replacement, and OK with the cost, and he went right to work and installed both pieces, cut me new keys, and keyed the new ones to a second door, all in short order. I didn't have to go shopping on line or in hardware stores, didn't have to compare prices, measure, etc., etc. All was done in a morning and it looks and works fine. I am a happy customer. My experience with Omer was that he was professional, polite, understood and explained my situation well, and provided excellent customer service.
