I had a smart deadbolt installed and I think that the work was very well done. Everything has been operating perfectly since the completion of the job. I did initially have an appointment for a Friday and it did get moved last minute to the following Monday, but I totally understand that it's hard to anticipate what will happen over the course of a day and that certain jobs can run unexpectedly long. Because they called me and provided clear and honest communication about the scheduling change I really can't knock them for it at all. Definite GO TO for HANDS DOWN FAST, FRIENDLY, & COST EFFICIENT SERVICE!! These guys are the best!! Locked myself out of my car at a local carwash in first having the keys in my pocket while detailing my vehicle aside from my wallet, tokens, phone & 800 other things it seemed. I ended up pushing the lock button on my key fob after I decided to finally chuck the keys on my driver seat in getting the 80 keys I had out in having one less thing to stow away. I shut the driver side door & attempted to open the rear passenger side when I realized ALL doors were locked, including the trunk. Sizzling in the hot sun, shirt off, & watching my car cleaners bubble in the growing cabin heat of the car since all windows were rolled up too, there of course were the keys in plain sight. Like a good ol' "F U" to me. My partner actually called these guys after a previous "locksmith" attempted to charge me 250 to get back in my car by the name of "Evergreen Locksmith" - DO NOT CALL THEM!! Robel is the best & the most professional! I wanted to swap my old lock with a new keypad lock and here's what happened: 1. Robel gave me the most reasonable quote & the most flexible schedule; 2. We discovered that the wire inside the new lock was somehow broken, not sure why (whether came defective or got broken during the installation). Robel installed the old lock back, bought me a new lock (exactly the same as the one I bought & he offered to cover the cost), came back later the day, and finished the swap; 3. When Robel finished, I started digging into my wallet to pay him. He insisted to not charge me at all because of what happened during the installation. I first hired Robel to replace a lock and handle, which he handled professionally, explained why it likely broke in the first place, and suggested what type of lock to purchase to avoid it breaking again. He was courteous, prompt, and professional. The second time I had a lock that wouldn't turn with the key to unlock. Again he showed up when promised, took 10 minutes to look at it and diagnosed it as "a minor adjustment" to re-grease the lock, and suggested ways to avoid the problem in the future or fix it ourselves. It's 5:40 pm on a Friday night after a looong week, and you're headed to grab dinner and drinks. As you close your front door and hit the lock button on your relatively new "smart" lock, you suddenly turn to your spouse and ask if he, by chance, has a key. Because, you know, you bought a smart lock but you don't know it's battery life, and wisely don't trust it, so you never leave home without an actual key. Except this time. And as you rapidly punch in the code, presumably to go back inside and grab said key, the keypad flashes an angry red. "Surely I fat-fingered the code," you think, as you type it in again. Angry red flashing. Third time's a charm, right? Angry red. Now you're frantically pulling out your phone, because "hey technology!" there's an app for this smart lock. The app suggests you click on the camera to see the motion at the door, but then says there is no motion. Despite the fact that you're standing right in front of the camera, frantically trying to get in. Stupid "smart" lock. You look at the app history, your own red anger flashing as you realize that the last motion detected was when you entered the house after work. It didn't even register that you locked the door, so how can it register to unlock? If possible, your "smart" lock just got stupider. In your anger you contemplate breaking a window, but then your saner self steps in and checks Yelp for a locksmith. And that's when Roble rides in to save the day. There in 20 minutes, inside your house in 3 minutes. He's clearly got skills (although you're also now questioning how secure your said secure-smart-lock actually is). Not only did he quickly, politely, and patiently (I asked a lot of questions about how secure my lock was) get us back in our house, but his pricing was reasonable for how fast he came to rescue on a Friday night.
