This was terrific service to make a duplicate key for a 2007 Camry. Lost master key so programing key is required. Great price (1/3rd less than two other bids and almost 1/3 of the cost of dealer ($300). He could have copied the existing key but he said it was too worn so he removed lock cylinder on passenger side to get lock code and then feeds that number into key making machine. Really happy to have contacted him through Yelp. Out of the three highly reviewed locksmiths on Yelp on the Eastside, he was the only one who immediately texted me back. I asked him to create copies for two car FOBs. He told me he couldn't do it for one of my cars, but could do it for the other, and provided a clear reason. This saved me a lot of time. When he finally got down to it, there was a small issue with the new key. He actually reordered another one and delivered it to me the day after the cyclone bomb for no additional cost. I had a transponder key cut at a hardware store for my car and it operated the door locks and ignition, but the store was unable to get the car's security system to pair with the key using their scan tool. I tried a DIY method I Googled and had no luck either. TAL offered to program it for a reasonable price, but apparently the key was either bad or incorrect for the vehicle. He cut a new key and successfully paired it with the car at my home for far less than a dealer would have charged. Same day service. I'd call TA Locksmith again. read more
