My husband and I just closed on our house Friday. Hooray! We'd had the the keys for 2 hours before we found out that the doors automatically lock. Cool. It was 4PM and it was getting chillier. Panic began to set in... great, we just bought this house and now we have to break in??? I hopped on yelp and searched for mobile locksmith. Erik answered right away and was at our place within an hour. He not only got us inside, he rekeyed our 3 outside doors and made us spare keys so that this would never happen again. We moved into our new home a few weeks ago, and needed our house to get re-keyed. In addition, the previous owners left us a bunch of keys that we weren't sure what they were for. On top of that, just a few hours before Erik was supposed to come, my boyfriend locked our car keys in the car! Highly recommend Sound Lock & Key if you're locked out of your apartment after-hours! I accidentally locked myself out of my room on the way to do laundry. My apartment manager and maintenance didn't answer my calls/texts for help, and I was getting desperate. I was looking at other locksmiths that all quoted me around $100... but Erik gave me a good price and made it to my apartment in exactly the amount of time he estimated (20 minutes!) I wanted to get a smart keyless deadbolt lock installed. I reached out to another local company that my condo building had used before, but they (a) would only install one of their locks and (b) didn't have any smart locks. So, based on just the Yelp reviews here, I reached out to Erik via email. He was super responsive. We traded a few emails and then talked to schedule an appointment. After I purchased the lock I wanted elsewhere, he came over and installed it in less than 20 minutes. He was even familiar with the lock I got and taught me how to program it.
