I tried calling this guy thinking he was a professional locksmith In the downtown Bellevue area. He answered making lots of noise and taking to me in short words with a bad accent that made no sense. He finally asked "do you needs keys?"....... No I explained to him that I was looking for a full service locksmith with a shop that locks could be brought In for bench work to rekey etc. and I let him know that I had property management business for him. He was rude and short and clearly had no time for new business beyond cutting keys. Why would anyone hire such a slimey locksmith??? Just recently bought a new Lincoln Navigator and needed extra set (2) of keys cut and programmed to my push start vehicle. Called him, he came right away to my place and did 1 set of keys, he told me once I received the 2nd keys, he would do them. After 1st set of keys were made, my running board didn't deploy, called him and he said be back in 5 minutes and checked on my vehicle to get it done proper. 2nd set of keys were done just a few hours ago, and he didn't hesitate to get to work right away. Wow! What service!! The story: I was meeting my dance troupe in North Bend for a performance tonight. The wind was howling, and it was freezing cold. My car key (older model car, early 90's era), is the one key for the ignition, doors, and trunk, which double-locks. Like I fool, I wasn't carrying an extra. 90 minutes to curtain, costume in trunk, and...the key snapped off in the trunk lock. In a panic, I started calling around. Towing companies, locksmiths, no one could help for at least 2 to 3 hours. And then I called Lee, who picked up on the second ring. He said he would be there within 30 minutes, and he was. And then, even though fishing out the broken key piece was difficult, he had the trunk open and two new keys made for me in less than 30 minutes! The cheering was loud and long when I went tearing into the studio waving my costume bag and yelling, "he did it!!" I was still waiting to see if I can get my apartment emergency service team to come by, so I said I will get back in 10 minutes. The quote I got was a flat 125 plus tax. Slightly on the higher side compared to other quotes. It got worse when I said I will get back in 10 minutes. He offered a 10 dollars discount, and tried to negotiate on the call. That was a serious turn off, so I hung up. He calls me back from a different number as starts bargaining. "What's the lowest quote you have"? This is turning out to be harassment. I hung up. I used Lee at the referral of Overlake Lock & Key. I needed a back-up keyless remote and he came to me to set up the fob. After some initial hits & misses he got the fob to work for the features on my vehicle. I paid $100+ and put the fob away with my backup keys. However, I never tested all the features myself. Unfortunately, when it came time to use the fob not all the features worked. I called Lee but without a receipt, that I am not even certain I got let alone would have kept, he declined to troubleshoot the situation. Had he even looked he would have see it was a brand new generic fob, and there would be no reason for me to make this up. I replaced this faulty fob with 2 I purchased at www.keyless-remotes.com for under $35 total and programmed them myself in less than 2 minutes. Highly recommend that option. Well, I don't know how Lee decides on a price. From my first review you can see that I received a great service, but than after maybe a week or two I was needed to order one more exact same key from the same lock. I was charged $21.90 for one key (when previous time it was $16.43 for three keys). I paid without questions because the service was done and it's my fault that I didn't ask about the price beforehand. Two weeks ago we lost our mailbox key. I came to Overlake Lock & Key to get an estimate for changing the lock. They called Lee, and he told that he would come to our house in 20 minutes. I told him that I just need an estimate, but he could give me an estimate only after looking at the lock. When we met, he said that it's a high security lock, and it would cost us $170. I didn't expect that price, so I said that I would need time to think about it and discuss with my husband. After that point he started push me to change this lock: "I've already here. It was a long way to drive". "I'll give you $35 discount if I'll change the lock right now". "Call your husband and ask him". He even gave me his phone and turned on the speaker! "How will you live without a mail box?" "Ok. What price can you pay for this service?" Well, it was annoying.. that's not a way business should be done. When I came home, I called the first company I found online, and after I describing what kind of lock did I have, he gave me an estimate $55(!!!!). Just compare: $170 vs $55!! When my husband came home, he simply drilled out that soft aluminium "high security" lock and it took him 15 minutes! Then we bought exactly the same lock at Lowe's for $6, and it took him 10 more minutes to change it. 30 minutes of work!! read more

I bought a 1987 bmw 325i (e30) from the previous owner with no keys so I went to the dealer and had a key made from my vin number but it didn't work on the ignition so previous owner must have changed it After calling maybe 15-20 different locksmiths that all took down a bunch of my information then at the very end they say oh we don't work on bmw even though they're sites say they do just a big waste of time. Loosing faith I almost decided drilling it out even though I don't know how. I finally ended up talking to Lee with Eastside Locksmith who actually asked for info on the car, also to try and save me money he advised definitely don't drill it out because there's so much more that can go wrong with it and some different options like going to the dealer with the vin to save some money. I told him I already did that and I think the previous owner must have had the ignition lock changed. So he ended up coming out and maybe within 15 - 20mins was able to unlock the ignition. I told him I didn't need a key made because I'm going to order a new ignition lock through the dealer so that way all the keys match. I definitely have his number saved just incase I ever need him again. If you have a older bmw I would definitely stop your search here and give him a call read more
