I purchased an aftermarket fob online and took it to an auto locksmith in Kirkland, but they were unable to connect their programming device to my car, sent me to another mobile locksmith who then quoted me $220. I found Mister Key Locksmith via online search. Mister Key Locksmith expertly programmed my aftermarket fob for much less, charged me what they'd quoted on the phone. No hidden cost, honest service. Crummy attitude and bad service on two occasions so I'll not go back. Most recently…read more.. Had 2 keys cut, 2 copies of motorcycle keys. I wanted more copies but they had only two of this key blank. Okay with me. One of the new keys worked. The other would not go into the lock (neither ignition nor keyed gas cap). Took bad key back to store with my receipt expecting a refund unless they had recently gotten more of those blanks. He said all he could do was try to clean up the bad key. I was not optimistic and I said I did not want to have to make another trip down to store so was thinking refund since I had my receipt. His response was, "This is not Amazon" and continued cleaning up the key. I pondered that for a few seconds, then said his Amazon comment was a crappy response to my refund request as most businesses give refunds for faulty products when customer has a receipt. (my point being that I did not view my request as outrageous or asking a huge favor). He said they do not guarantee their work unless i bring the lock in so they can test it themselves. (although I did not like that answer, that would have been a better first response than the Amazon comment.) So I have to go bring my motorcycle down? If this was a house key , I have to take the lock off my door and take it in? My encounter a couple years ago with them was similar but I'll not go into that here. I need to find another key place.

Our condominium HOA had new wifi keypads and matching ADA lever handles installed on all the units…read morein the building, including ours. They left the new keys under the old hardware in a box on our kitchen counter. Not realizing that's where the keys were, we threw out the box with the old hardware, and the keys went with it. The HOA which bought the new hardware and hired the installer was no help. The building management company which orchestrated the installation was no help. The locksmith that installed all of the units' new hardware was worse than no help, wanting such a high fee to rekey the locks that we considered buying an entirely new keypad and handle and attempting to replace it all ourselves. The problem with that plan was that we had recently sold the unit and the new owner was taking possession in 10 days. We needed a professional to get this done. Sadly, the locksmith we used when we bought the condo back in 2012 had moved to the other side of Puget Sound. After considering our options, we contacted Element Locksmith online and within two minutes received a call back. We explained the problem and were told that a technician would call us to set up an appointment. Within five minutes Emanuel called us. He quoted an extremely reasonable charge for a visit and if he couldn't rekey the locks that's all we'd pay. We were able to set up a time to meet at the condo. Emanuel was there as promised and he was able to rekey both locks at a price far below the quote of the installing locksmith. Emanuel was professional and prompt and very kind. Our lost key problem was solved without extraordinary expense. Such a relief! I highly recommend Element Locksmith. Note: I called what I thought was an Aurora Avenue location but they are actually completely mobile now.
