What a caring, dedicated and talented team. I had a last minute problem with a broken key in a European-made, high security lock and these fine folks never gave up trying to resolve the problem for me. Highly recommend them for all of your locksmithing needs! read more

Angel was terrific. Fast, friendly, and got the job done. And it came in less than the estimate!

These guys know lock & key technology! They have "know-how" and "want-to"... key ingredients for good service! They recently cut a new key for an older pickup with a security chip key. The cost was considerably less than the estimate quoted at a nearby Ford dealership. They also help me update an electronic door lock on an older home and rekey all entry doors to use the same key. Highly recommended! read more

I called A-1 Mobile Lock and Key this morning and needed to change a lock to my rental property in the Everett, WA. 98203 area. I talked to Jess and Sarah a little later and they sent Mike McPhee out at 2:00 pm. He was on time courteous and efficient. He kept me in the loop with my options, worked fast, was polite and easy going and within 20 minutes for only $119 I had my two keys and felt very good about the locksmith and the company. Ask for Mike McPhee he will get your job done with flying colors! His company is local and family based. Paula Cottingham read more

Mike came over to rekey three locks, two of which I did not have keys for. He also reprogrammed a digital lock. He got to work immediately upon arriving, and was extremely competent, knowledgeable, efficient (speedy), thorough, focussed, professional, and had excellent communication. I called A-1 Mobile Lock & Key because of all the raving online reviews, and will not hesitate to call them again for future needs. Pleasant and courteous customer phone service, and they were able to schedule an appointment much sooner than I expected. Pricing was honest and reasonable. Overall an A1 experience! read more

6 Stars.... The Absolute best not only in the lock biz, but best all around. Wish every business we work with understood top shelf customer service vs COVID excuses. I have been doing business with A-1 for years, they have always worked very well for me. There is nothing worse than taking the time to have keys made only to find out that they don't work, and this is one reason why I always go to A-1 for my keys, they always work! I have also had them come to my home to take care of my security needs and they are always on time and they go above and beyond my expectations. This business is a valuable asset in Skagit Valley, and they deserve a 5 Star Rating. read more

Wow! What a gem! Stop what your doing. Now! Go to them! Some of the nicest people I've met. Truly love and care about what they do! I broke my smart Key Fob to my 2013 infinity. I called the Nissan dealership( who makes infinity) and they said they couldn't replace it , only Infinity. I called the Infinity dealer up and they Quoted $400 yeek! :( Called A-1 up and they quoted $195 which includes the key Fob, mechanics key cut, and programmed. Please don't go to the Dealer when replacing keys, they are always 2x the price. Although they didn't have my key in stock , they overnighted it and I had it the next day! Excellent excellent excellent read more

Great. I had some keys made that didn't work. Took them back and with a smile and no hassle, they solved the problem and replaced them.

I've had continuous trouble with the driver side door lock on my Honda Fit. This time I didn't go back to the dealership. These gentlemen were fabulous- came in under their estimate, charged me half of what the dealership wanted. Polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. I'll never go anywhere else. read more

AMAZING! I called at 4:45, just before they closed, and they sent someone out within a few minutes. My daughter had dropped her keys down an elevator shaft and needed to use her car. A-1 is A-Plus.. When moving to a new city, the search for quality vendors starts all over. We needed to have a few locks opened and re-keyed at our place of business. I reached out to A-1. George is the professional that showed up. He could not have been more professional. Excellent service, very personable, totally skilled at his job. A-1 did everything we needed, very quickly with zero issues. The bill was even lower than expected. George explained what he was doing all along the way and kept asking if he could do more. We are totally satisfied and will recommend A-1 if anyone every asks. Actual customer, today 12/13/2017 in Mount Vernon! A+ to George at A-1 Mobile Lock & Key. read more

Amazing and affordable service!!! Very friendly and quick staff, very good comparable prices. We were able to get a brand new car key and attached FOB for 1/3 of the price the dealership offered us. The dealership also required a separate appointment to "program" the fee for an additional cost, while A-1 was able to do it immediately at no additional cost. This will be my very first stop any time I ever need another car key taken care of (heaven forbid)! read more

These guys are miracle workers!! I recently bought a 1995 Toyota vehicle for use as a "do everything" vehicle. I was having trouble getting the key to work and believed it had something to do with the inner workings of the ignition. By chance I attempted to get a duplicate key made a few days ago and I noticed that my key was very worn and a duplicate could not be made. I attempted to get a new key cut at the local Toyota dealership, but the information concerning my car was input incorrectly into their system. Their solutions were (a) tear the passenger door apart to get the correct key code for which they would charge me a minimum of $140 or (b) go to A-1 Mobile Lock and Key. I honestly didn't think A-1 could do anything as the Toyota rep said "they would make a key based on "sight" of the current key". Since my key was worn to non-recognition I truly expected I would have to have my mechanic tear the passenger-side door apart. But he too sent me to A-1. I walked up to the counter, handed Eric Jimenez my key, and told him I needed a miracle. After a 30 minute wait in A-1's very comfortable waiting are Eric delivered my miracle. The first time he put the key in the ignition it started right up and my car starts every time now. Eric's co-worker described my former key as a "toothpick". His description could not have been more accurate. The new key has very deep ridges and grooves which makes me astonished the old key started my vehicle at all. Eric even went the extra mile and lubricated all of my door locks. I also had him make the duplicate key. I could not be more grateful to A-1 and their very capable employees. Thank you Eric! read more

Great customer service! I brought in a key for a locker that I needed a copy of. They didn't have a blank however they took a larger key and cut it down for me. The gentleman at the counter spent 10 minutes cutting and shaping the key until he felt confident in is work. Sure enough I brought it home and it worked on the first try! They have my business from now on! read more

Uff da!! Last week, I got in my car at Safeway, only to find my ignition key wouldn't go into the lock. It's been a year but I need to get a review of this business out there. I had them come out to our house in LaConner (on a weekday during regular business hours) to look at the lock on my front door. It seemed fairly weak and I was willing to do just about anything including replacing the entire front door and side valences if necessary to secure it. (Acknowledging that they don't do door installs but was hoping they could advise on securing the current door better.) They came out, looked at the lock, literally said they could no nothing AND CHARGED ME $60 for the visit. The guy was in and out in 15 minutes. I called the store and asked for the manager. He wasn't there so I left a message asking if this is really justified and is really how they do business. I did not receive a return call. I would not use these guys again. read more

Guess who got locked out of their home and needed help? Embarrassing and frustrating to say the least. Luckily for me, A-1 Mobile saved the day without costing me an arm and a leg! I was in town visiting some friends when I realized that I had misplaced the keys to my car. I was panicking because I needed to hit the road back home early the next morning. I contacted A-1 Mobile and another company to get a quote. I chose A-1 Mobile not only because they were more reasonably priced, but also because of their impeccable customer service. Daryl arrived as soon as possible and helped me get into my car. When I didn't find the keys in my car, A-1 Mobile offered to make me a set of keys for a great price and in a timely manner. Needless to say, I am very grateful for all that they did for me. Daryl and the rest of the staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I would make my deadline of hitting the road the next day. If I am ever in the area and this happens to me again (I hope it doesn't!), I would definitely contact A-1 Mobile Lock & Key again! read more

After countless hours of researching how to get a key for a chipped ignition when ALL keys are lost, I was told to go to dealership. After $1400 estimate, I found A-1 who offered to solve my problem if I got the car to them. $250 dollars and 15 minutes later I was driving down the road. This guy was honest, on top of things, and knew his stuff. I highly suggest using them next time you need help with keys of any kind. read more

So the other day I was at the local park and upon leaving and loading up my little dog my keys fell out of my pocket onto the passenger seat. While I turned around to grab my 2 year old to put her in my dog must have stepped on the keys and locked me out of my vehicle. I called my insurance for roadside assistance. They wanted a credit card number but my wallet was in my locked car. I called 3 other places and no one could help me in my area. Finally called back my insurance and spoke to a different person. The quickest help they could find me was a 2 hour wait. Didn't work with a 2 year old and it getting dark and cold. After getting off the phone I look over and little league practice had begun and the coach just happened to arrive in a van that said A-1 Mobile Lock & Key. I interrupted their practice to ask for help and Andrew graciously obliged. He got me into my car in under 5 minutes and didn't even want payment. He finally agreed to take some cash, not enough though. Knight in shining armor that day. Saved my ass! Thank you!!! Good business and stand up guy. We took our new vehicle in to have a second key programmed and got nowhere with it. The first time we brought it in they requested the registration and turned us away since we hadn't received it in the mail yet. Second time the guy had us wait for close to an hour while he attempted to program the key with no luck. He gave us the excuse that some code wasn't working and he needed some other tool that wasn't available that day so we left for a second time. My husband got fed up and called the dealer where we bought the car (they'd sent us to A1) and they had us bring the car to them where they called another mobile key guy. He had the key programmed in under 5 minutes with zero problems! I'm giving A1 two stars since they weren't flat out rude or anything, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. My husband regrets going back the second time since there was an irate customer in the store on his first trip complaining of an improperly cut key and four trips to get it fixed. I love this company! After going on the last trail ride of the season, I was wet and cold and decided to change coats. Loaded horses into the trailer to get them ready to go, and shut the dressing room door not realizing the door was not unlocked! Key was in my other coat pocket and my purse now locked in the dressing room! Called A-1 Mobile Lock & Key. They had just closed, but the key guy would meet us at the shop when we got into town. I was really upset because I was worried it would cost a lot of money being after hours and all. I thought it was going to take a while, so got some snacks for the horses, and hubby said, ready? Huh? Really? Done already? Then I asked about the price and he handed me the receipt. Unlocking the trailer and making a new key after closing came to $2. and some change! I will continue to bring my keys to them anytime I need anything done and I will send anyone who asks, or I overhear talking about keys to them! Customer for life! read more
