* For being a locksmith, customers is what keeps a business going, and for this company to continue…read moreto use dirty and derogatory words, saying I was "bitching" "stupid" "spoiled"... in their reply to my google review is unacceptable. If they are able to use this language towards a customer on the phone and hiding on the internet, who knows what else they are capable of. It's unprofessional and a business like this does not deserve customers or a platform. I had lost the key to my storage unit (holding all my college appliances for move in) after driving 17 hours on the road, I was fatigued and tired and wanted to ask a professional locksmith for help. I had a disc lock on the storage unit and needed help getting my stuff. When I called for their services I was treated with a disrespectful tone about ETA, cost of the service, and yelling from the provider. The first sign of being unprofessional was their "sarcastic" remark about arriving on time. I understood I was far due to my storage unit but did not appreciate them having an attitude on the phone about needing to drive farther towards my unit. After the first phone call, I was in shock and started tearing up on how disrespectful the "locksmith" had communicated with me. I decided I had to call back and cancel the appointment. I called back to cancel the appointment, and thats when he started yelling at me on the phone and uprurblty hung on me when I started to talk. *Another locksmith in the area (Bow, Wa) I recommend is Raven Lock and Safe. Although, I was able to open my storage unit with a bolt cutter before he got to my unit, he was very professional and understanding.

I carted a door into the establishment because a key would not fit in the outside of the deadbolt, but would in the inside. It was easier to take the door in than to remove the lock. The manager waited on me. He worked on the lock for almost an hour. He explained that somebody had tried to use a master key and screwed things up inside. At the end, he sent me on my way, a very satisfied customer, with an extra key and having paid a bill about half of what I thought it would be. I will return.

Their technician OVERCHARGED me…read more I had my garage door inspected and adjusted. There was nothing really wrong other than that the door started squeaking a little (even after I lubed the joints). Also, 4 years had passed since the last inspection and tune up. It literally took the technician less than 10 minutes. He asked me for $150. Because I could not believe what I was hearing, I asked him again. He insisted that $150 is the minimum they charge (up to an hour). As soon as the technician left, I called the office. They told me the the minimum charge for a service call is $100 (plus tax). So, I asked them why they think the technician told me $150, but they could not explain why. The technician must have pulled the number out of thin air! I'm certain that there are many customers out there who were overcharged because I wouldn't have thought anything of it if the technician spent close to an hour even if they charged me $150. Also, as you can see in my original review, a different technician, John, charged me a half of the hourly rate back then (4 years ago) because it only too him 30 minutes. Clearly, they don't do that any more. I have to say I'm disappointed because I believe in common sense. *About the rating. I gave 2 stars because the office corrected the mistake. Otherwise, I would have given 1 star. ***************************** If you found something useful in my review, please hit "useful" so that I can improve my future reviews. I had most of the windows replaced in my house in Mount Vernon because the old windows were single…read morepane, some were cracked, and the wood frames were deteriorated to some extent on almost all of them. Overall I am happy with the result, but there was some lack of attention to detail that I noticed. 1) On the first day of the 2-day installation, they finished working before I got home from work. My front door had been left wide open with nobody there after they left. I have no idea how long it was open before I got home, and nothing was taken from the house, but it was still annoying. 2) Caulking was forgotten on one of the windows when the trim was fully reassembled. In other places, the caulking was very messy or on spots of the trim where there was no reason for it to be. 3) Due to the age of this house (1940) and the construction of the old windows, some wood had to be added to fill a gap between the new window frame and the existing wooden sill on the exterior. Rather than cutting 3/4" pieces of new wood to fill the gap with, they used old wood that had been taken from elsewhere in the old window assemblies. This is unpainted, untreated wood that is exposed to the elements and at risk of rotting now until I can paint it.
