They were ready to go let my daughter in her home at 11:00 pm and arrive within 10 minutes. Then she found her key and I called back to cancel and offered to pay for the false alarm and they didn't want anything for their time. Great friendly customer service! read more

I live on an island off of Bellingham and needed help opening and re-keying a digital door lock whose battery had died. Beattie's Lock Smith responded the same day I called, jumping on an early evening ferry to come out and do the job. Unbelievable customer service at a very reasonable fee. I highly recommend this compan! read more

* For being a locksmith, customers is what keeps a business going, and for this company to continue to use dirty and derogatory words, saying I was "bitching" "stupid" "spoiled"... in their reply to my google review is unacceptable. If they are able to use this language towards a customer on the phone and hiding on the internet, who knows what else they are capable of. It's unprofessional and a business like this does not deserve customers or a platform. I had lost the key to my storage unit (holding all my college appliances for move in) after driving 17 hours on the road, I was fatigued and tired and wanted to ask a professional locksmith for help. I had a disc lock on the storage unit and needed help getting my stuff. When I called for their services I was treated with a disrespectful tone about ETA, cost of the service, and yelling from the provider. The first sign of being unprofessional was their "sarcastic" remark about arriving on time. I understood I was far due to my storage unit but did not appreciate them having an attitude on the phone about needing to drive farther towards my unit. After the first phone call, I was in shock and started tearing up on how disrespectful the "locksmith" had communicated with me. I decided I had to call back and cancel the appointment. I called back to cancel the appointment, and thats when he started yelling at me on the phone and uprurblty hung on me when I started to talk. *Another locksmith in the area (Bow, Wa) I recommend is Raven Lock and Safe. Although, I was able to open my storage unit with a bolt cutter before he got to my unit, he was very professional and understanding. read more

Prompt, helpful and less expensive than others. I will use them again. Suggested solutions when asked.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This company treated my neighbor very disrespectful. He was very loud the morning he was called to help in a senior living apartment. Was stomping around, lots of profanity, dropping tools, sounded like he was throwing them. The lady he was helping had lost her keys and could not get in her apartment. She does not speak English well and could not understand his directions. She had help from her neighbors, but he was rude to them also. Her neighbors were opening their doors to make sure she was ok. Terrible service. Would not hire this company. read more

Fast and even fixed our door handle after my frustrated boyfriend messed it up. Helped us out when no other options were available.

Fantastic service! I was stuck on a Saturday and locked out of my house. He came and fixed the lock and got us back in fast. Nice guy, changed all the locks, super kind! Highly recommend!! read more

Exactly what we needed when we needed it: Tom came from the other side of town at 6:30 PM on a Saturday to Marine Drive Park to open my pickup, in which I had left my keys when locking the doors. On top of that, he charged me half of what I paid for this service a few years ago. He was quick about arriving and quick about opening the door. Friendly, too. read more

Locked my keys in my truck last week and called four different places until I tried Beattie's Lock Service. By that time, I had been waiting for over two hours from the previous places I had called and was at my wit's end. Beattie's response was nothing short of amazing -- the guy who answered the phone was understanding, down-to-earth and assured me of a timely response. My experience with them was one of the most reassuring I've had and I have referred several people already if they ever need a locksmith. Professional, timely, and reasonable cost. THANK YOU! read more

Cool guy!!! He managed to opened my old cutclass car which, I should mention; is a challenge-car with doors/windows/engine that work depending on the weather and the stars :). Fast response, prompt service and pretty chill. read more

Beattie's Mobile Lock Service are my heroes! We lost the key to the Master lock on our garage. Lord knows how long its been locked. I think my husband was too proud to tell me he lost the key. It was late afternoon on the eve of 4th of July and I had already called three other locksmiths before Beattie's answered my plea. Tom arrived within an hour and took care of business. He was friendly, professional and the price was very reasonable. Hopefully, I won't need a locksmith any time soon, but if I do, you can bet I'll be calling Beattie's! They're the BEST!! read more

I've been a businessman in Bellingham since 1989, I've had a nightclub, sailing charter business, built and remodeled several houses, and started a resturant. Tom Beattie has been my locksmith through all those projects. he also purchased and installed all the door sets for my house, including repairing a huge hole in my antique front door where a deadbolt had been poorly installed. He re-keyed my old Porsche 911, and has come rescue me when I've been locked out of my car too. I trust Tom implicitly and recommend his services highly. Nathan Lowe read more

Local family owned business you have to support! I was in dire need on a Saturday evening when no one else was around. Then I called Tom. He was more then willing to help me obtain my valuables locked in my vehicle. My key broke off inside the ignition with my glove compartment and trunk containing my wallet, phone, and other valuables that were locked. I had to barrow somebody's phone and quickly find a reliable, affordable locksmith. I called everybody in Bellingham & either they didn't answer or were quoting me outrageous prices for some simple help. Then came Tom. Answered on the first call and was willing to help me within the hour. I couldn't be more grateful to him. He was very polite, professional, and experienced. I will be using his services for all my locksmithing needs and will recommend his business to all my friends, family, and anyone that needs it. I highly recommend this service over any other in Bellingham! Please support our local hardworking small business owners! read more

Arrived within a half hour of my calling for help getting my keys out of my car. Swift and reasonable.

I had a broken lock on a French door in a rental house that needed to be fixed. After going through two different lock companies in Bellingham, both of whom came out to take a look and then never followed up, even with multiple attempts to recontact, I was pretty frustrated---even ready to replace the whole door! Then I gave a call to Beattie's Lock Services, expecting another run-around. Tom was in San Diego at the time I called, but assured me that he would follow up as soon as he was home. He did that, and more: he made several trips to the house to make sure he was ordering the correct parts and went back and forth with the manufacturer to be certain, all with a wonderful attitude and a commitment to solving my problem. In the end, the lock was repaired and the final bill was more reasonable than I ever expected. Thank you, Tom! I highly recommend your company. read more

Call this place! They are the only place in bellingham that I've found to actually be 24 hours, not have after hours, and come unlock my apartment on a weekend! I've spent hours looking for a residential lock out service, and these guys were the only ones to come to my aid! Quick service, within 30 minutes, relatively cheap prices, about 60 bucks for the lock out, and nice people! Call them!! read more

called at 730 pm on a friday night. the man who answered the phone was extremely rude and short. said it would be $80 to get me back in to my apartment. then he said "so are we doing this or not" I told him we were waiting to hear back from my emergency management and he said "i've been there 4 times in the past 3 months, they're useless they won't do anything". I asked if he was 24 hours (as stated in the business) and he says something along the lines of "well I mean you get me out later than this and you're messing with my sleep schedule and screwing up my schedule tomorrow. and then at that point you're at time and a half or maybe even double time". I said alright well i'm not sure yet because we're still waiting and he rudely hung up on me. I ended up trying to get in to my apartment for 5 hours and found a locksmith off the clock who came and opened it for me. if I could give a zero star rating I would. do not advertise you are 24 hours if your representatives are going to throw a fit coming out "after hours". read more
