Im visiting from California and only have 1 key for my car. The estimate in California to duplicate the key was 250 dollars!!! First, let's be clear. When you are calling a locksmith, things are not going well for you. I am extremely happy with the service I have received from All Island Lock & Key. They are very patient with me and professional. They had the blanks I needed. They know their locks! And they don't try and gouge you like some of the other lock companies out there. read more

Called ahead to see if they program Subaru keys. Was told they did as long as it was just the key and not the key/fob combo. Walked in five minutes prior to closing about a week later. I knew they closed in five minutes and was just hoping to work out a good time to get it done. I was told they don't program Subaru keys. I mentioned my previous conversation and all of a sudden he must've remembered that they do program just the keys. So with an attitude like I was ruining his day he turns around to get the schedule binder. I guess it is too much to ask to schedule an appointment in the last 5 minutes during business hours. We schedule a time for the next day and he tells me it'll be $90 for the program. Mind you, I don't know how much key programming costs, this is the first place I have gone. (Spoiler Alert: It's the only local place in Oak Harbor) I said "Wow 90 dollars?" He responded with "Yup, and we are going to be on the lower end there as well." I'm not sure where he is comparing it to, because a five minute call to Burlington (a couple towns over) revealed that they do the same service for $35. So I was lied to twice while I was there by a guy who has the audacity to wear the Anchor of a Navy Chief on his ball cap the entire time he is feeding me this BS. If you need emergency service you probably have no choice. In a non-emergency situation, go anywhere else. read more

I broke the key to my door, inside the lock, at 10pm at night. My insurance company gave me All Island Lock & Key. Within 20 minutes, one of their technicians arrived at my door. Withing just a few minutes of his arrival, I was shaking his hand and parting ways, and more importantly - safe inside my warm house. They gave quality work and were extremely professional. If you're in a jam, call All Island Lock & Key. I hope to never need their services again, but I was very thankful that they are around! read more

I work at a local hotel in anacortes and a guest had locked there keys in the trunk and was going to be late to there ferry to BC. We called All Island Lock and Key at 6AM and the gentleman that answered was very nice and helpful, and ready to come and help. Though the guest ended up finding a spare key they called back offering to still pay for the inconvenience. He was very kind and said dont worry about it.
