Everything they do feels elevated and thoughtfully crafted, taking classic comfort breakfast food and giving it minor tweaks to transform it into something truly special. Careful on weekends and in general, as this hot spot can have long lines! You can call ahead though and ask. You go to the counter and order, grab a number and seat and they then bring your food out to you. You can also do takeout. If you have a dog or it's a nice day, you can grab a seat outside. The staff have always been cordial and they are on top of keeping the place clean. Sometimes I feel like they could have another waiter because I feel bad, but honestly I've never felt like it's impacted the wait time. The menu is packed with solid options that are deeply satisfying and filling. Their signature biscuits are incredibleeeee. I'm talking flaky, buttery perfection that serves as the ultimate base for a phenomenal breakfast. To top it off, they serve De Fer coffee, which is an automatic win for any morning routine. A special shout-out has to go to their sides and flavor pairings. This spot is always very cute! Love the outdoor seating now that it's fall and beautiful outside. Their coffee and tea is always great since they use DeFer and Rishi. All I want to say is GO NOW. This place is AMAZINGLY delicious. Church let out a little early so I decided to take my daughter since I've seen many great reviews on this gem. When you walk in, the long line looks a bit intimidating. However the FOOD was so worth the 15-20 min wait for us to order our food. I applaud how quickly you get your food after your order has been taken. Now into the good stuff. The Corn-beef Hash was calling my name. When I say I had not 1 regret, it was AMAZING. The corn beef itself was very, very tender flavorful and delicious. What topped it off an extra notch was the chimichurri sauce drizzled on the side. Absolutely amazing. Never had a chimichurri this delicious in my life. My daughter ordered the chicken biscuit with homefries. Which was also very good. The chicken is made out of chicken thighs to give flavor and tenderness. Potatoes were nice crisp on the outside. The biscuits itself are also very good. However I couldn't focus on it after tasting the corn beef. It amazes me how quickly they get the food out and seem to always have enough seating after you place your order. Heads up, the setup is different than your typical diner. You order your food first, then get a table. This process works well for them. And out of the dozens people that was in and out, didn't complain either. This is located on a side street that does require paid parking. Not sure which hours the paid parking is mandatory at. There's a lot of hype surrounding this restaurant... and it's for good reason. You never know if a long wait for a restaurant means the food is fantastic or if it's just popular. This place is both. I came here on a Friday morning. The line took about 10 minutes. You have to order your food first and then find a table. I can imagine on the weekends the line may be up to 30 minutes long. I ordered a biscuit sandwich with fried chicken and eggs. All the flavors were perfect. It's your classic breakfast sandwich made perfectly. For my drink, I got the hibiscus tea and added their complementary simple syrup, fantastic. Looking at other people's meals, I could tell everything they're probably tasted amazing. I came by myself and sat at the counter. Probably made it a lot easier to find the seat. The waitresses behind the counter were super attentive and will still serve you another drink and water if need be. You could even order an additional dish without standing online again. The line moves pretty quickly, and tables open up often, so we didn't have to wait as long as we expected. The hibiscus tea was delicious and the free refills were a great bonus! The breakfast sandwich was delicious, especially on the buttery biscuit with the thick-cut bacon, and the Johnny cakes with peaches were absolutely amazing. This place is amazing! Ive been wanting to go for a while and I'm so happy that I finally did! I HIGHLY encourage everyone to go here. The seating is so nice and reminds me of Georgetown, DC with seating outside. The food is soooo SOO good! I got the fried chicken biscuit and it was so fresh and so clean. My friend and I split it, and I'm happy we did it or it would have been too heavy. The biscuit was so warm and flack and the chicken was so juicy! My only complaint is that I wish there was more honey and the chicken was just a tad too salty. Everything was reasonably priced! This eatery was super busy on a Saturday morning around 11:30. Though there was a long line to order, the food itself was prepared quickly. After ordering, seats were available on a first come, first served basis. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, which you could customize with two toppings. It was delicious. The biscuit was thick, fluffy, and buttery. The specially sourced cheddar cheese was subtly sharp. The mushroom and oat patty was vegetarian, but looked and tasted like meat. It was flavorful and savory. Definitely recommend giving it a try. We also got a side of their crispy potatoes, which were excellent. Loved the cinnamon sugar biscuit bites as well. Visited once prior to this review but visited on a busy Saturday morning. The employees welcomed us in and kept the line in order while we waited to place our food order and sit down. Very cute inside. They have items available to go and their biscuits available to purchase and cook at home. Their employees were super friendly. They took our order efficiently. I got the chili grit bowl which was outstanding (I wasn't aware you could choose how your eggs came on it though - would have definitely got scrambled if I could have chosen but didn't find this out until after the fact)! Seasoned well and good ratio of ingredients. I also got an iced ginger & honey coffee - it was good but wish it had more of the honey flavor come through. We were able to sit and eat together - the employees got those us who needed to-go containers taken care of and we were on our way within 30 minutes. Some lines are never worth the wait but this place is for sure. They have a variety of tables and a counter area for seating. It was a crispy buttermilk fried farm thigh with some local farm honey, was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've encountered. We showed up with 9 ppl, many vacationing from Ecuador and they worked with us to get the massive order placed and made sure everything was great despite the minor language barrier. 2. Amazing food! Came in for a breakfast and at first I was scared because there is a sign outside about how seating works but it was fine and everyone is efficient and respectful which probably helps the business turn tables at a reasonable rate but I can envision a time when this place is super busy. I got bacon and potatoes and he got sausage and grits. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The biscuit was the perfect texture and generously sized. A good breakfast can only be accompanied by a solid piping hot cup of coffee and sadly this is where the meal fell short. Our coffee was lukewarm and not strong at all.
