I love this ice cream stand! Homemade ice cream and frozen custard, some dairy-free options, a broad menu of modes (cone, sundae, shake, others). I absolutely love the butterscotch ice cream, and had a Lavender Lemon milkshake two days ago (and wished I'd ordered a large!). Parking is good, and there's a garden shop next door (unrelated, but a great two-fer). Open early afternoon into the evening.

We stepped into this cute little place and we were greeted by a friendly employee who answered all my questions & found us somebody that could take out to go order & get us moving I had a gluten free biscuit with egg, cheddar & sausage patty, which is made in house. We waited 10 min and took our sandwiches to go It was piping hot & so good! Was a little tough to eat as I walked but I managed to inhale the WHOLE thing :)

In fact, this was not my first time attempting to come here. I had arrived many other times and circled for a while and couldn't find parking or I would finally find parking and the line would be down outside the door. Clearly the universe was in a good mood this Sunday, because I rolled up and snagged a parking spot directly in front of the door. I felt chosen. Blessed. Like the biscuit gods had opened a portal just for me. Inside, there was no line! I manifested that on my drive in. As soon as I walked in, A super-friendly guy was cleaning tables and handed me a menu and told me to order at the counter. By the time I was done ordering a seat had become available. On to the food & beverages. I will be honest: I'm a certified coffee snob, so the iced coffee wasn't my soulmate. But the hibiscus tea? A floral little hug. Loved it. The corned beef hash with chimichurri was incredible. The biscuit that came with it? I crowned it with a glorious drizzle of sausage gravy, and suddenly I understood why people wait in long lines for this place. I would too. Happily. Then I tried the fried chicken biscuit with honey and butter plus a side of home potatoes, and let me tell you! That chicken biscuit could fix broken hearts. Those potatoes could end political conflicts. The whole meal was outrageously good. Believe. The. Hype. If there had been a wait, I now know it would have been worth every minute. Honestly, I might line up next time just for the full dramatic experience.

Mingo Creek Cellars is a local, family-owned winery that opened in 2024. It is located on land that…read morewas part of the Mingo Creek settlement during the Whiskey Rebellion in the 1790s. The winery uses California grapes and other, locally-sourced fruits and traditional winemaking techniques to produce small-batch, handcrafted wines. They sell their wines through their website, at a couple local businesses, and at some farmers markets and festivals. I first encountered Mingo Creek Cellars several months ago when the owner, who is one of the very best review writers on Yelp, kindly gifted me a bottle of sangria. As he released more wines, I had to try more! In recent months, I purchased three other wines: Blushberry, sweet strawberry-apple; McFarlane's Blueberry Battalion, sweet blueberry and named after Major McFarlane who fought in the American Revolutionary War and the Whiskey Rebellion; and Blackpaw Treaty, a semi-sweet blackberry cabernet named after the secret agreement. I loved all of these wines! Mingo Creek Cellars currently sells many other wines: Cavalier Cab, a dry red cabernet sauvignon; Bradford's Blaze, a dry syrah; Whispers of the Hill, petite sirah; Militia Whisperer, Gewürztraminer; Rebel Scout, a dry riesling; Forbidden Flame, a semi-sweet with raspberry and dragonfruit.
