Trailer, around the corner from Primanti's. Great food inside.
Artichoke D.

Great place, great food, super nice people. Just to reiterate: the Yelp listing and photos are a bit confusing since the location is now a trailer next to Primanti's and across from Shake Shack--not inside PA Market.

Chicken, Shrimp, Beef Tacos

Tucked inside PA Market within the Strip District. The man who served us, I assume Edgar?, was very friendly. We got 3 tacos - chicken, beef, and shrimp. There was quite a wait until they were ready. I appreciated how much meat was in each of them, but unfortunately I found the flavor to be a little underwhelming... beef was probably best out of all.

Really some of the best tacos in city. Arrived at 1050 in the seated square outside and they told me to come on up to order early. Got the beef tongue and chorizo tacos with a shrimp tostada. The self pour salsas were delicious with a great range of spice. I will definitely be back

Pictures are the chicken, steak and lamb barbacoa. The steak and chicken tacos were good but the lamb Barbacoa was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and service was super. The pricing was pretty standard at $3.00 - $3.75 a taco. Great street tacos. I would eat them again when I need a taco fix.

Mole Chicken Enchiladas with beans and rice

Cute little taco stand in an interesting courtyard setup. This place makes you feel like you're in the Wild Wild West. Horse and carriage mural included on the wall along with a Skelton having a drink at the bar. Edgar greeted us with a smile on his face and was very friendly during our visit. He cooks the food himself and has a pretty big selection on his menu including drinks. I ordered the chicken enchiladas without lettuce. They came topped with a mole sauce. They were delicious! The beans were out of this world. By far my favorite part of the meal. They were cooked just right and topped with cheese. The rice was also very good. Flavorful and not dry at all. The street corn was okay, although it didn't seem to fresh. I was surprised that it didn't have cilantro or lime. It had a sweet tangy taste to it which was unique. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and chorizo tacos and said that they were really good. I could tell that he really enjoyed them as his eyes were rolling in the back of his head as he was eating them! He was all into the different sauces that were offered to top his tacos. We plan to come back when the weather is warmer so that we can enjoy the outdoor seating.

Great taco located right on the Strip. The kitchen was in a outdoor courtyard with some covered high tables and chairs. $3 authentic tacos--fast and fresh service.

The beef tacos are amazing. You HAVE to get the jalapeños queso - it's amazing! The prices are very reasonable and the portions are perfect. I typically order 3 tacos and 1 queso. The one thing to be mindful of is the wait on the weekends as it can be upwards of an hour, while weeks days it can be ready within about 10 minutes.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Have not been to this location since they moved here from about a block away. The menu has a few tacos that are 2 for $5.00 but most of the selections are $3.50. My barbacoa and chorizo tacos were good but not anything special. The sauce bar is nice but it was a little messy when I was getting my sauces; thought it probably doesn't take much for just one person to spill stuff on the bar. The place is kind of amusing with all the menus pasted on a board behind the cash register and you can see some of the kitchen staff cooking. The room is kind of dark and dingy; it has been a few different restaurants over the years and has not been updated.

You guys if I could have the tacos and sauces injected in me I would. Edgar's is in my top two places for tacos in Pittsburgh. Everything is fresh. Always fresh. The flavors are so aromatic. I swear I get dizzy from eating this goodness. One bite and my head spins. Have to grab a quick seat to maintain my composure so that I may continue to inhale those tacos as though I've never eaten before.

Stumbled upon this place while walking to go somewhere else for lunch. Decided to go here instead. WOW! What a little tucked away gem. My coworkers and I loved it so much, we came back a second day in a row. I've gotten the burrito, which was HUGE. I couldn't finish it all. It was packed with rice and beans, onion, peppers, beef and everything in between. I also tried the beef empanada which was clearly very homemade and good!! We also shared chips queso/guac. Queso is so creamy and jalapeño and guac was very flavorful! The second day I got the mole enchiladas and street corn. SO GOOD. Flavorful and satisfying. You can taste all the elements of the mole. And the street corn was sweet and creamy and a little spicy. I can't wait to literally try everything on their menu. Not only does this place have great food, it's run by Edgar (I am assuming) and two other ladies. They are always so sweet and nice! Can't wait to tell everyone about this place and to go back!

Vegetarian Rajas taco

Saw this truck at yArt and tried a vegetarian taco that had mushrooms and potatoes with lettuce, tomato and onion. Sooo good! I've never had mushrooms that tasted like that. It had a kick and a good flavor. I wish I could figure out how to recreate it with spices! The corn shells were not overly thick, hard or rubbery. They were perfect. The people on the food truck were lovely. They had 4 types of salsa, forks and napkins readily available. I added the medium salsa to a portion of my taco, and it went very well with it. I hope I see this truck around again sometime!

Lamb barbacoa and chicken tacos

Right in the heart of the Saturday afternoon market on the Strip, Edgar's and the competing taco stand just around the corner contribute to one of the best smelling street corners ever, with sweet and earthy tendrils of corn tortillas wafting by and hints of the various meats cooking on their griddles. With some of our brunch targets packed to the gills on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, my girlfriend and I switched to snacking at the various food stands on the Strip, with Edgar's being the main stop. I went with a chicken and lamb barbacoa tacos and their watermelon agua fresca to drink. The lamb was lightly topped while the chicken was more generously topped, while you're left ot finish it off with the salsa of your choice, and I just went with what looked like salsa verde. Sitting down at one of the handful of tables next to their stand, we dug right in. The lamb was tender and flavourful, and the sauce it was in kept it from getting too dry. There was a little bit of spice to the guac and a nice fresh pop from the pico and all of that was evened out by the queso fresco. The chicken had a mild flavour, but it was tender and moist, and topped equally as well as the lamb. The watermelon agua fresca was fantastic. It tasted simply of watermelon with very little, if any, extra sweetening, just letting the fruit stand on its own. Edgar's was an excellent spot in a equally great little area. Hit this place up if you're in the Strip.

This place was such a hole in the wall, but really good. It's actually a lot bigger than I was expecting. You walk-in, order from the menu on the wall, and then wait at a table with the number they give you. They shout out the # when the food is ready and with a simple wave of your number the waitress found me and brought out my food. Since the ordering is at the front and there was only 1 cashier, the line got a bit long since my group was about 20 and there were also other patrons. This occurred around 3:00 on a sunny Saturday. The food was really cheap, and it was good. I could have gone for more food since it wasn't a huge serving, but it hit the spot and accomplished what I set out for. There's also free chips with guac and queso. The inside had lots of decorations drafting down from the ceiling, as well as stuff on the walls. It made it feel like an authentic Mexican place. There was also futbol playing from the World Cup which added to that element. The owner said that the liquor license was delayed about a month. I wasn't able to order a Corona, but anticipate by late July or August that the drafts will be flowing. At least I hope so for their sake. Either way, it's a cool place to check out near the strip.

on the left is the chorizo taco, which is flavorful and not at all greasy. On the right is the shrimp taco which was also delicious.

Very good tacos and reasonably priced. My son believes it is the best taco ever. If you are in the strip, definitely check it out.

They are now in a trailer, tacos are great, but i personally miss the tostadas. You have to catch them when you see them by the terminal.

We just ordered takeout online. I got the Umami Gold poke bowl and it was fabulous! The yellowtail was so fresh. My fiancé got the California Avenue poke bowl and overall enjoyed it, although he thought that the rice was a tad too salty. We got the smaller size of the bowls and they were still huge - we couldn't finish all of the rice! We also split the California Avenue roll and loved it - the pieces were also pretty big. You really get a lot of bang for your buck here! Definitely want to try more of the menu.

The seafood they use is actually pretty fresh, and they are generous with the fish portions. I've gotten the Jack and yellow a few times (yellowfin tuna, yellowtail, jalapeno chips, and wasabi mayo) and have been pleased. It does have a kick with the wasabi mayo so beware! I would love to see them offer more sushi burrito options (currently only 3 on the menu) or a build your own style option. The sushi rolls are simple, but yummy. This is a good spot if you're craving simple, fast casual seafood, with quality ingredients. The staff have been so kind too!
