Was in the Hot Metal area around lunch time on a hot, sunny & beautiful day and decided to stop to try this ghost kitchen and sit in the lovely outdoor area. Prices are a little higher as you are paying for convenience. The food was yummy & I had no complaints as it was made in a jiffy. I had the Taco Locos which were a soft shell and hardshell taco together. I would definitely go back for lunch. I am not sure why the reviews are so low. read more

I really was hoping to score this taco shop higher, however they missed the mark on a few things. First, I'll get to what I really loved. chorizo The chorizo was very tasty, plenty of meat and just the right amount of spice! beans The beans that came with the rice tasted so good and prepared as I expected. The texture and flavor paired together great with my chorizo taco. Now to the negatives!!! carnitas and the taco shells Firstly, the carnitas should have never been sold, I would have been absolutely okay if they suggested to order something else. The meat was so dry, like almost jerky dry. Not only were they extremely dry and cold, the portion was extremely small. The taco shells was also a let down. They looked and tasted as if they were (probably are) generic store brand shells. 5+ bucks for a taco, the shell needs to be better. yellow rice Dry and tasteless! I tried the taco loco, and it was so good! It's a hard shell inside a soft shell with cheese in between! I need to eat tacos like this from now on. I had carnitas with loaded toppings. The flavors were just perfect. You can taste the freshness of the lime and veggies. I also like the concept of just grabbing food to go and eating outside. We came on a weeknight, and they weren't too busy. With one customer ahead of us, it still took maybe 10 min to get our food. They're conveniently located. I've gotten food here while going to Pins before. They're also close to the trail. It's a good option if you want to grab a quick bite. read more

New to Pittsburgh and I've never spent 22 on a normal taco plate. I love authentic and if you do too, then I probably wouldn't recommend but if you like American style, then this might be your place e. The service was pretty good, the man at the counter was pleasant and accommodating. Just very overpriced compared to what you're getting. read more

Really impressed! Ordered the carnitas without the tortilla and it was super good. Could have used more sour cream and pico, etc, but overall, I enjoyed it. The carnitas were a bit too salty, maybe scale back on the salt but I did really enjoy this dish. Def will come back to try more. read more

I like coming to this food truck as it is convenient to my workplace. The service is good and the wait is typically really quick. I've had tacos and chips with cheese/guacamole. Really tasty. There is also seating available right near the truck. read more

Quite a few positives: tacos look legit, folks who run the truck are super nice and awesome, the outdoor seating is a great vibe in the summer, and they sell Mexican Coke, which is my top soft drink. Unfortunately, the tacos are a little bland. So don't go with ultra high expectations but still enjoyable for the vibe and form factor. read more

The refried beans with rice is amazing I got my food in under 2 minutes, and love how they have vegetarian options.
