Pollo (chicken) taco and carne molida (ground beef) taco with chips, guacamole and salsa Verde
    Michael B.

Props for having a taco place able to whip up to-go orders quickly. I got corn tacos for my order, one chicken and the other ground beef. I did like the seasoning and flavors of the tacos- the chicken one did have a tad too much of the farmer's cheese to where eating it got a little messy (but flavor was still great). The ground beef taco had great peppery taste to it. Guacamole was also not bad (this one was more creamy rather than chunky). I did take out but the restaurant itself has nice decor and seems like a cool place to sit at and have a beer with your dinner. I would definitely get tacos again from this place.

Stopped here for the first time when I was shopping in the area a few weeks ago. I got the box deal with is two tacos, chips, and dip for $12. Restaurant is very clean and staff was friendly. Pretty run of the mill "hipster taco joint" but cool, funky decor. I got the carnitas & fish tacos and enjoyed both, especially the fish. Chips tasted just like Chipotle's- staleness included. Guac was kinda old and brown and not fresh-tasting which was disappointing. I would definitely come back for tacos though and would like to try their drinks!

Chicken taco cross section (lil dry)

Chicken taco, seasoned nicely, quality ingredients. But the chicken was dry. Ribeye was very thinly sliced pretty good flavor but also dry. Special tacos of the week. Pulled pork strawberries with a vinaigrette was absolutely fire. Walking taco meal was just kinda "mid". We got it without crema and i think it would've helped some considering you guessed it the beef was very crumbly dry. Great hot sauce selection. Drinks were good. Tacos were prepared and out to us pretty fast and the staff were friendly. Really had a great feeling going into it with how nice the interior was. Overall: we won't be making the drive from other parts of Pitt to try it again.

Shaved steak taco and Corn in the USA

This is one of those spots I wish I thought to eat at more often because it's delicious food, fast. This cute little Mexican spot is right on the main drag of McKnight Road. Walls depicting murals with strong day of the dead vibes are lined with sugar skull figures and prayer candles. The ceiling is covered with Mexican star lanterns. You order at the main station and receive a number before taking your seat. Staff brings your food to the table and you can toss your disposables when you're done. I've eaten here at least 4 times and the food has always been great quality served fast. Typically I'll get a shaved steak taco and whatever special menu offering the have at that time. Most recently that's been a twist on Mexican street corn, Corn in the USA. Spectacular taste and presentation with the right amount is spice to make an impact without making you sweat. Don't sleep on the churros. They're a nice dessert option that some with either a cream tip or a Nutella style tip. Go ahead and get both.

I really enjoyed you sharing your story of how you met your husband through the group at Doce Taqueria. Awesome!

1st time customer. We can't wait to come back. Everything was very flavorful and the staff added to the ambiance. I highly recommend Doce Taqueria...a local owned restaurant growing in Pittsburgh.

We came here after visiting Ross Park Mall. The seating area is decent with a nice patio. You order at a counter and then they bring it out to you. Each taco is $4.75, so your bill can rack up quickly. My son had some Americano tacos. I had the potato and a shrimp. Everything was pretty good. Tacos are fairly small.

We've driven past this place a million times and finally decided to stop in. I didn't realize it was an order at the counter restaurant (although it was fine!). I got a chicken taco and a beef one. The beef one was good but nothing special. The chicken however was INCREDIBLE! Delicious chicken, loved the cheese, and the corn tortillas were as authentic as I've managed to find in pittsburgh. My boyfriend is now obsessed with the ribeye taco and my nieces new favorite thing is the walking taco with Fritos. We all enjoyed the mild salsa and the queso. They were out of churros which was a disappointment but otherwise we were full and happy!

The tostadas were nicely crispy and had the perfect amount of salt. The guacamole was fresh. My husband said that it was probably the best value that we have even gotten for chips and guacamole at any restaurant. Carne-asada street tacos - 3.5 stars - Again, the serving size was large. The tortillas reminded me a bit of my husband's Mexican grandma's tortillas. As for the carne-asada meat, my husband said, "I don't know what that was supposed to be." Eek! However, he added, "The beans and rice are very good. There's definitely a Mexican in that kitchen." Well, I do not know who the chefs are, but I hope that they accept that last comment as a compliment. These two menu items cost $42 plus tax and tip.

They were a band from another country that was performing at a nearby venue a little while later. I was excited to be able to get them a good, non-road food meal. I'm sure any band members out there appreciate what a treat this can be. The place was half empty. After 20min., I had to physically go to the bar, where servers were kinda just hanging out, to get someone over to serve us. Our waitress was sweet. We order drinks and food. The chips arrived cold. Small issue. The food came soon after. Cool. Went up to check on drinks. Nothing. I want to stress that they were nowhere near slammed at that time. Our drinks arrived after we were well-finished eating. Not only that, we ordered Margaritas and they were all from nasty, synthetic syrup, with very, very little Tequila. I wasn't asked if I wanted salt so I made sure to say that I did. No salt. We couldn't even finish them they were that bad. Between that and the terrible service timing I regret not getting up, going full-Karen and having them all taken off the bill. But I was mortified and we were in a hurry. So, so embarrassing. It might be better if Condado slows down on expansion and focuses back on quality and service.

Beautiful outdoor covered patio and extensive menu of BBQ options!!…read more We stopped for a weekend Brunch around 10:30 and the place was still completely empty! The hostess stand is a bit of a farce - the employees seemed to hope that people would just seat themselves. Even when we were greeted - they said to just pick your own seat anyway! The decor is pretty cool. I'm partial to the stacked wood for the smoker as you enter, but the rustic feel of everything made the vibe come alive. With the smoker right next to the patio, the wonderful smell of the barbecue permeated the entire restaurant. The brunch menu was just as extensive as their lunch/dinner menu. We grabbed two coffees - which seems like a rarity - as they brought sugar and milk in little dipping sauce cups. The candied bacon was a MUST. 6 slices of thick cut bacon drizzled in brown sugar for only $6. Walter's Benedict with Pork Belly will stalk my dreams... the flavorful crust charred to the fork tender pork belly casually laying on the buttery, crispy chive biscuit smothered in the perfect hollandaise is the brunch you dream of but never really comprehend. Brisket Hash was unfortunately a nightmare though. The menu doesn't inform you that the brisket will be chip chopped into fine dust and coated in hot sauce. It was so spicy that it was almost inedible and the 1/4" of oil under the potatoes and eggs proved that even the hot sauce felt like crying. In all, the amazing waitresses and cool setting outweigh the one menu issue! We will be back!
