Quintessential hometown diner vibes. Friendly service and big portions at a reasonable price. The peanut butter coffee they had brewed for the day was surprisingly delicious for your average diner cup of joe. I got the western Ave scrambler and it was very filling. It was surprisingly calm on a Saturday morning. I was expecting more of a crowd, but maybe it's just one of those hidden gems. Hope to stop by again when I get the chance!

Casual spot to grab something to eat. Service is friendly here. Typical diner style fare with sandwiches and breakfast. Ordered the Steel City Slammer. The combination of roast beef and corned beef with the coleslaw was great and refreshing. I will definitely come back here.

We tailgate across the way from the sandwich shoppe and decided let's see if we can get food here for our tailgate. I called and they're closed on Monday but they let me order a sandwich ring for 14-16 person serving, came with a side and we got tater tots and it came with plates, silverware and Heinz ketchup bottle. That was super nice of them to throw a whole bottle in. It cost $88 but well worth the cost. The food was amazing. Best sandwich ring I've ever had. The tots were warm and fresh and tasted so damn good. This place is our place to obtain food for our tailgate needs moving forward.

Beautiful historical location, prompt and friendly service, broad menu! Really enjoyed by breakfast…read morehere. Their drink menu is impressive and would be a fun happy hour spot. My Root juice drink was tasty; made me feel healthy after a week of dining out indiscriminately. The server recommended the Kazaam (shakshuka) dish, and it was solid! I eat a lot of this and it didn't disappoint! The toast was particularly good. Loved the fried shallots for a little crunch, too, otherwise it's a pretty slop-heavy meal, texture-wise.

Angela was professional and attentive, she absolutely did an amazing job! Kindness goes a long way and she mastered that! The food was just as delightful. I enjoyed the Turmeric Chicken Salad - the moist chicken, sweet raisins, and strong taste of turmeric were shockingly well balanced in flavor. It was great. The French Toast was another interesting combination. The strawberry jam with syrup made this the perfect sweet treat. Lastly, my husband left no crumbs with his Patty Melt. He ate it just as quickly as it came! While I wish the interior design had been given more thought--such as displaying pictures, murals, and nicely arranged flowers on the tables to enhance the experience--the food more than made up for what the interior lacked. We both had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend it to others.

Oh. My. Gosh. Smashed Waffles is giving FULL on (brunch any…read moreday of the week) energy! We tried: Cereal Thriller Quilted Pig OG Happy Go Lucky Smashed Browns (get the sweet & spicy sauces on the side & mix them together.) ya welcome! Troublemaker (with cold foam) Honey Buns (with cold foam) And listen... everything was amazing but if I had to pick (which I don't want to, but if I had to...) #1 Happy Go Lucky #2 Cereal Thriller (If you want to be a big back like me,try them both together. Thank me later! ) What really made the experience even better than just having great waffles, was the people. General Manager Sharon and Assistant Manager Kelsey were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed excited to help. The owner Len was EXTREMELY responsive to my email & text inquiries (which honestly is rare these days.) As a small business owner myself, I notice and appreciate that kind of effort immediately!! This place is absolutely underrated. Between the amazing staff, the aesthetic Instagram/TikTok worthy storefront, and food & drinks that are ACTUALLY delicious (because sometimes places only nail one or the other ), they've got the full package! Plenty of seating inside & out. clean bathrooms, self-service kiosks but they also have a register if you are lazy like me. Parking can be a little challenging, but there are several nearby garages that make it manageable. 10/10 experience. So grateful we got the chance to try smashed waffles. Pittsburgh needed this spot.

I ordered a coffee, a savory waffle, and a sweet waffle, and everything was delicious. I especially loved the glaze on the cereal killer waffle and the "secret sauce" served with their savory waffles. The cinnamon roll coffee I ordered was also fantastic and a very smooth and sweet drink. Everything was fantastic, and the owner was extremely kind and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

Thankfully we didn't have to wait for a table for 3 (the folks in front of us in line most have had a bigger table and were given a wait time). I really enjoyed the vibe here as well as the food. I tried the waffle Benedict and thought it was great. Definitely worth a visit for breakfast but their weekend hours should be updated if they open they open before 9am...

I didn't want biscuits or an Egg Sandwich, so I chose this cafe because it had the most menu options to choose from. Also, the location was close enough to our hotel, without driving too far, which was perfect. Although the space is small, this cafe has a lot of charm. It was vibrant and full of energy, and the staff was attentive, ensuring our visit was comfortable and orderly. I'm so happy that my husband & I visited around 9am, because we were seated right away. We came hungry, so we quickly placed our orders, and the food arrived shortly after. The food was excellent. We both ordered the Spicy Chicken Omelette and it was very good. The chicken was flavorful and cooked well. It wasn't spicy at all. Even the breakfast potatoes were crispy and lightly seasoned. And our beverage, two Peach Palmers, was lightly sweetened and refreshing. This cafe is a good place to visit if you're in the area. Plenty of street parking, quick and efficient service, and reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

We stopped by this location of Pamela's and instantly, I felt like I was transported into a retro 50s/60s diner. The multi-colored walls are decorated heavily with old-school board games. There's a veil of grease in the air that screamed the classic diner experience. SAUSAGE & CHEESE OMELETTE + Lyonnaise potatoes (side) + whole wheat bread (toast) The sausage & cheese (we asked for Swiss instead of American) omelette itself wasn't anything worth raving about as it was pretty typical. However, the Lyonnaise potatoes were phenomenal. It's that in between "hash and mash" texture, and it was seasoned incredibly well. The potatoes were definitely the highlight here, and the omelette was good protein, I guess. Definitely forgot about the whole wheat bread. BLUEBERRY HOTCAKES Soft, crepe-like wrap (a bit thicker than crepe but thiner than pancake) wrapped around blueberries and whipped cream. This was not too sweet and quire savory. They're known for their hotcakes at Pamela's and I can see why. I don't remember the individual pricing for each, but both were under $25 total. Definitely great tasting food for a phenomenal price. I highly recommend!
