    Kids smash burger

Loaded does not disappoint at Lawrence Hall! My friends and I got the bangin bbq bites, the kids smash burger and the garlic parm bites! We each cleared our plates. The portions are a good size for the price and the chicken bites are super high quality. Their fries are excellent too. I appreciate the quick service and it's always very clean and well attended at Lawrence Hall.

We visited Lawrence Hall couple of weeks ago and Loaded has been stuck in my mind since! We tried several places, but the stand out of the night was the Korean corn dog with ketchup and mustard. When we go back, we will be getting a Korean corn dog or two...or maybe three!

Went here with some friends that had recommended it and unfortunately I was a little disappointed--maybe I ordered the wrong thing...but I got the BLT chicken sandwich and it was just ok. The chicken tasted like nothing to me and though it was well cooked and crispy, there just wasn't a lot of flavor. The fries were good and plentiful, but fries aren't that difficult to do well. The service was relatively slow on a Saturday night, but to be expected. I think I'll need to go back some time and try a burger or a corn dog maybe. I'm willing to give it another try since people seem to like it, just wasn't that impressed this time!

Their corn dogs take "melt in your mouth" to a whole new level. It was the best corn dog I've ever ate to be honest. I forgot to take a picture but I also had there loaded BBQ fries and they were incredible. This restaurant is located in Lawrence Hall in Lawrenceville.

My friend and I stopped into Lawrence Hall on a Saturday evening. We ended up both ordering from Loaded. I ordered the Thai Taki Dog with half cheese, half beef filling. This dog does come with Taki dust but I opted to not get that on mine. The flavors were super vibrant and fun. The only thing I will say is that the cheese filling is ALOT. And I like cheese. I think if I ordered a Korean dog here again, I'd get the all beef filling. My friend ordered the Texas Smashy, which comes with a side of fries. Overall our food was prepared great and the portions are generous. Great experience!

Loaded is over-the-top fried-food-decadent. The place is aptly named and you should probably avoid it if you're looking to eat light. It so happens we were NOT looking to eat light on the day we went. We had been looking for somewhere to eat after work, were denied by the parking gods at several places we tried to go, and landed in Lawrenceville. The food hall was near enough to where we parked. By the time we got there we were starving so it was finally time to try Loaded, which I knew about from social media. We were hungry and we over ordered. No other way to put it. We ordered the Takis corndog and elotes corndog. Both were tasty (I liked the elotes one better) but we both concluded we are purists and would have enjoyed a plain corndog more. These suckers are big beef dogs, generously cornbread coated and fried. We could have shared one. We also ordered bacon ranch fries--loaded for sure and generously portioned. I wish they had been a tad more well done. And because we clearly did not know our limits, we ordered chicken bites, which were drizzled in bbq sauce and peppered with bread and butter pickles. These were kinda my favorite--a sleeper hit. What I didn't pay attention to when I ordered them as a last minute add-on (hunger makes you crazy) is that they also came with fries. So the amount of food on our table was obscene for two people. Oh and didn't I mention we were hungry? I also ordered a cookie to share--some salted caramel thing that was freaking delicious. All that said, if I ordered half the food we did, it still would have been an adventure in gluttony. This was a great place to try, but probably someplace I'll be satisfied to go once.

First time having food at Lawrence Hall. It's a great place, love how open it is and how much seating there is. I've been wanting to get the Hungry Italian Dog for a while after seeing it on their insta. And it did not disappoint. I got the all cheese one (basically a huge mozz stick) but it was so delicious. The cheese pull was perfect. My favorite part was the basil aioli.

Loaded in Lawrence Hall has me in a CHOKEHOLD. I've already been back multiple times because their gluten-free options are unreal. They have a dedicated fryer for their fries AND their GF fried chicken sandwich (!!) which you can get on a bun or a lettuce bed (yes, I've tried both). You can order from your phone or at the station--I went up to the counter so I could make sure they knew about my celiac disease, and the cashier was super kind and added an allergy note to my order. Unfortunately their Korean corn dogs aren't GF, but their loaded fries totally make up for it. Obsessed. Celiac note: I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2023 and have been on the hunt for safe and delicious gluten-free spots around Pittsburgh ever since. Everyone with celiac has different comfort levels when eating out, so I always recommend doing your own research and choosing what feels right for you.

Very good classic bar food plus some fun options like korean corn dogs. We tried the classic korean corn dog half cheese half meat and it was tasty, although I prefer more of the sugary dust seasoning on mine. The fries were also very good, and the classic smash burger was awesome. Highly recommend.

I finally got to go to Lawrenceville Hall!! My first stop was loaded. I will say I went on a Saturday night and it was busy. The wait for the corndog was 1 hour. I waited cause that's why I went but I think the wait time was a bit a crazy for a corndog. It had a lot of cheese. Which made for a great cheese pull. I wish they put less mustard and ketchup on top. It was overwhelming and all I could taste was the mustard. I couldn't get a good taste of the breading but it could have used a bit more sugar compared to other Korean corn dogs I have tried. I do need to go back and try one of the other ones because they all sounded good.

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife for our dinner. Loaded is located inside of Lawrence Food Hall and if you want more information about that you can check out my review for them. From Loaded I ordered the Korean bird chicken sandwich and then the cowboy fries to share with my wife. Out of the 3 restaurants that we ordered from Loaded was the slowest in getting our food to us but that was probably due to the fried chicken and it was still pretty fast. My korean bird was described as Buttermilk fried chicken loaded with kimchi, Gochujang Honey & purple slaw. Served with a side of fries drizzled with Gochujang Honey while the fries were described as loaded with smoked brisket BBQ sauce drizzle, shoestring onion straws, bacon crumbles and scallion. I first started in on the chicken sandwich and man was it good! The chicken had a super crispy exterior and then a moist and juicy interior. The kimchi gave it a bit of funk while the purple slaw added a bit of freshness. Last but not least was the Gochujang Honey which was both sweet and spicy and absolutely delicious. If I had one complaint about the sandwich, it would have to be with the brioche bun. It wasn't properly toasted and so the sandwich fell apart on me leading me to eat more of it by fork than I would have preferred. Then my fries on the side were also excellent as they seemed to be fresh cut and as you already know I loved the Gochujang Honey. After I had finished with all of that I dug into the shared cowboy fries. The fries themselves were the same crispy hand cut fries that came with my sandwich which was fantastic. Then the BBQ sauce added a nice sweetness to the mix while the onions added a pop and some other texture. The bacon added some savoriness and while I thought that the shaved brisket tasted good, I wish that there was more of it. Still, by the time that I was finished I was stuffed. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. While this certainly wasn't the healthiest of food, it was dang tasty and I would love to try more from their menu.

Loaded is located inside Lawrence Hall on Butler Street. It is one of 4 restaurants located inside. There is also a bar inside. To order, you scan the QR code on the table. You can also order takeout. Ive only tried loaded because the food is always delicious! We got the bang bang dog and the Mexico City Bird chicken sandwich. There are so many unique things to try. Keep in mind, they often run out of some of the burgers/chicken sandwiches/hot dogs by the end of the day or busy weekends. We loved these two dishes! So much flavor packed into each bite. The food was hot and fresh and service was quick. There are bussing stations to grab silverware, water, plates, and napkins that they keep refilled. Highly recommend trying things from Loaded!

If you're looking for a quick bite in Lawrenceville, stop in to Lawrence Hall. This large venue offers 4 restaurants and features a full service bar. Loaded offers fried chicken sandwiches, corn dogs, and smash burgers with interesting flavors. We ordered this Bang Bang corn dog and Mexico City chicken sandwich. The Bang Bang corn dog is large enough to split with a partner and the panko coating was crunchy, offering a pleasant contrast to the all-beef hot dog within. The Mexico City chicken sandwich, served with fries, was perfectly moist and the elote was a nice contrast with the red cabbage slaw. Overall, a perfect meal for two - though I would also recommend a beer or cocktail from the bar!

We walked about 10 min and change from our hotel to the strip district location. It is a small little place made up for by its attention grabbing wall art of famous and loved Pittsburgh figures. The menu is easy enough. Pick a protein (there are many options) to go on the sandwich which is the standard cole slaw, cheese, tomato, and fries tucked between two slices of thick, soft white bread. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to see a vegetarian option with both a cheese and an egg and cheese version. GF and I shared and it is not a bad sandwich to share bc the thing is massive. That isn't to say that I couldn't have eaten another half bc I absolutely could have. The thing is so large and busting with ingredients I wondered how I could fit it for a bite but where there's a will, there's a way. It was excellent. What a great combo of flavors and textures. I only wish there was more cheese. I do feel like with the cheese version there should be more than what is in the version with meat but call me crazy. I could eat that every day.

Medium loudness, mainly from people's conversations. Went to bar area, little to right of entering and ordered. Asked for their special and the asked for the type of meat. Didn't know so they suggested I try pastrami and the capicola. Ordered and waited maybe 10-15min and they gave us our order in a big paper bag. It was heavy! Opened up one of the sandwiches to share and nicely the sandwich was cut in half already. Just need to tear the paper wrapper to separate. As you may know, sandwich has Cole slaw and fries on it, so it's thick. Preferred the capicola over the pastrami. Decent amount of meat on the sandwich but waaaayyy more fries than anything. The close slaw adds some crunch and tartness to a pretty mild sandwich. Overall, food was underwhelming. I'd stop by again but for some kielbasa or something ethnic. Otherwise I'd probably just try another nearby place to eat.

We chose to go here instead of making the drive to Chick Fil A on McKnight Road for milkshakes. My daughter & I noticed 1 worker handling food with no gloves on, pulling her hair back to a bun then proceeded to handle the food without 1. Not washing her hands after she handled the food and 2. not putting gloves on to handle the food. I politely asked the employee, do you wear gloves to make milkshakes. She responded, yes we do and she was very polite about it. The other worker came and asked her what I said and she told her. The other worker came to us with MAJOR attitude taking our milkshake orders. She proceeded to say to her co-worker, please pull my hair back because I don't want to hear anyone BITCHING about it. My daughter said, Ma'am, my mom just asked if you wore gloves because she was handling food, she pulled her hair up and then she handled food again without washing her hands nor did she have gloves on. The young lady became extremely upset and shouted.....I AM NOT TALKING TO YOU. At this point, both my daughter and I were shocked. The conversation became heated because we were explaining we asked a simple question and she was very upset, uprupt and rude about how she responded to the situation. I then asked for the manager, she stated she was the manager. I said can I have a conversation with you. She stated 'no you cannot' I am done with it. I asked her, how can you not address a issue that needs to be addressed. She stated again, I'm done talking about it (VERY RUDELY). From the time she started making the milkshakes her attitude was off. And boy, from the taste of the shakes you can tell. They were not good and extremely watered down. There is so much more to this encounter. Such as shame. So much for NOT going to Chick Fil A. We will take the drive the next time. Manager could use managering skills. I'm still so upset.
