I can't believe how bad the service is here. Been waiting around 15 minutes for a chicken sandwich. They are not busy at all and have 5 people wandering around the kitchen working at a snail's pace. Meanwhile a manager is at the register area speaking so loudly on the phone that there's an echo in the empty restaurant. The cashier slurred her words so badly I could barely understand a thing. I've been noticing that every time I call to place an order they say "we are only serving boneless". 3.5 stars Great for take out. Biggest issue is their seasonal wings. I get hooked on a flavor then it is gone A few times our extra well done fries were soggy and I'm not a fan of wiggly fries. But it's the best place in Burbank for wings. I just found out I have a wing stop down the street and I'm so glad! I honestly love the wings. Tons of variety of sauces BUT I HATE GETTING CHARGED EXTRA FOR BLUE CHEESE! When I'm buying $50 worth of food just throw in the damn blue cheeses! Everything else is so good. The employees are really nice and professional so I don't feel like some teenager is going to play games with my food. And they work really really hard! Wings aren't a classy, gourmet food. It is undeniable that they are messy, unhealthy, and best suited for a party or game tailgate. Also undeniable? That they are damn good. So simple and yet so good. I am vegetarian and yet, even I crave these saucy little guys like a fiend. The struggle is real, though, with finding a genuinely decent wing place especially when I grew up hours from Buffalo, New York: so I know REAL wings. Wingstop is a chain in the wing ding world and yet it holds its own... Wingstop is located on a busy stretch on San Fernando in Burbank in a plaza near a Chuck E Cheese, Anna's Linens, and a Kmart. I wouldn't blame you for expecting a dirty, poor serviced, fast food joint. The generalization is actually somewhat expected. Well, Wingstop is here to blow your mind because it doesn't match those descriptors, at all. I've been here twice now accompanying wing lovers and both times, I entered a decent sized eatery and was immediately greeted. Both times the cashier/order taker was busy with a guest and still smiled and greeted us the second we walked in. That's not only better than any fast food spot, but even better than most higher-end places! Also surprising is that Wingstop is already quite clean: the tables aren't covered in gooey sauces, the floors don't have flyaway napkins, and they have a Coke Freestyle machine which is always fun. Wingstop is actually not fast food as it makes everything to order (so expect a bit of a wait to get your food). I'm sure you can already deduce the menu which includes wings or boneless wings (you can choose 6 wings with 2 flavors, 8 wings, etc) with sides of fries or cole slaw, chicken fingers, potato salad, veggie sticks, etc. The chicken offers a variety of sauce and flavor choices such as: lemon pepper, Cajun rub, original hot, BBQ, garlic, etc. They also come with dipping sauce of blue cheese, honey mustard, or ranch. For my vegetarian splurge, I ordered a 6 piece boneless in Lemon Pepper and Cajun rub with carrot sticks. I also tried the cole slaw, fries, hot wings, and lemon pepper wings from my dining partners. Let me just say: WOWZAS! These wings are delicious! The breading to meat ratio is perfect, the meat is tender and delicious, and the sauces and flavors are spot-on! Again, I am SUPER critical of wings and these are it. These are what I remember from the East Coast. The fries are crispy and not too greasy while the cole slaw was okay but a bit too bland (I'm not a cole slaw fan to begin with so not the perfect source to rate this). The carrots sticks were well-sized and fresh. A small detail which should be noted is that the tables are extra wide so that you can lay out all your wings and eat family style leaving enough room for your tray and to not have your elbows slipping into saucy wings. Yes, you will feel far away from your friends across the table but wouldn't you rather have clean elbows?! The only note which my dining partners commented on being "weird" was that they don't have napkins and use the same brown paper towels made from recycled materials that are used in the bathroom. It made them uncomfortable. Prices are a bit high meaning this isn't a dollar menu and even slightly higher than you pay for a burger value meal but this also isn't a frozen meat patty grilled under hot lamps. Wingstop serves up amazing wings and with wonderful (surprisingly) customer service. When seeking wings for your party or to indulge on something relatively quick but not a burger... definitely check out Wingstop. You won't regret it even if you end up with a saucy face you have to wipe with brown paper towels. read more

I'm so happy this spot opened up near my work. I can't tell you how much I love wings and Wingstop always delivers. They have a great lunch combo for about $9 for wings, fries and a drink. I love their original hot flavor because it's hot the way I like it while preserving all of the chicken flavor. Try the boneless chick wings because there's no hassle, only all of that good chicken!!! Plenty of parking because they are in a big shopping center.
