Fine restaurant. Their queso is quite good. Their wait staff was as expected. My son ordered the teriyaki sticky fingers. Sadly, he didn't like them, so he asked to send them back and have the chicken with no sauce. The manager said they'd be glad to bring him a plate of sauceless chicken, but they wouldn't remove the original order from the bill. We didn't argue. Paid the bill and left a healthy tip. Total cost for 3 people was roughly $90 without drinks. I've never had a restaurant refuse to replace an order that someone in our party didn't like. But this one did. Well visiting Elko (it's a long story) - went to Wingers last night and today - convenience really. I am a wing connoisseur so feel I can comment fully on this wing experience - first be aware that these "may" not be exactly what you expect "but" if you know ahead of time I think you will truly enjoy these wings so first a few comments/observations I only like "naked" wings so my review is for those. Wings and "flats" are the right size - not too big not too small Wings are cooked at the perfect temperature - you get that great crispy outside (fair warning I always order my wings extra crispy) I thought they weren't over done in fact they were just right both times. Carefully consider your order... the dry rub styles are great (I only tried two) wings were crisp and flavorful. I added Tabasco which I love on wings and probably would most always in future order them this way. I also ordered them tossed in their sauce "original rebel" and I really liked them but found them to be a sweet/spicy sauce... great sauce but make sure you like that sweet honey and spicy style - I love it "sometimes" but not all the time and watch out they are really sticky and messy! The garlic fries were very good - fries were cooked perfectly. Grilled salmon tacos - very good! The BLTA was great!! What? It's not in the menu? Just order the Avocado Chicken Club Pounder and drop the chicken! Huge sandwich! Nicely done! Bacon cheeseburger was great! It needed some condiments and I didn't ask for any so on me not them! Good regardless. Waitstaff were kind and helpful. Glad it's not where I live and glad the bar is closed now or I would have spent more time there. Stayed overnight in Elko, NV and Wingers was recommended by hotel staff. Fair price, good beers on tap! The garlic-Parmesan rub was tasty and not overpowering. Super disappointed. I ordered my food to go. I ordered a bacon cheese burger minus the Mayo. I open my burger at home, covered in Mayo. For a burger that I just spent $21 on... this is VERY frustrating. My favorite are the garlic fries, the ones received are just some fries with literally a little Parmesan cheese on top. Zero garlic. We love the food, the service is atrocious. Definitely don't order to go. Barely half a cup of soup for $9 with none of the toppings. No ranch for two orders of wings and fries. I realized the ranch was missing before we left, but the soup was tied up in its own bag so I didn't undo it to check. When I drove all the way back and came in very politely about it, the manager said they would correct it this one time, but we should have checked the order before leaving. She also got out the menu to show me it's 6 ounces of soup and said that's what I got. It was maybe 4 ounces. And again, no toppings. I understand mistakes happen, people may be new, they got slammed with orders, etc....it's how it gets handled that matters. I have to say that I was extremely disappointed in this restaurant. We arrived 40 minutes before closing, waited at the host stand for at least 5 minutes with two other groups waiting to be seated only to have the waitress come up, ask us how many in our party and when I said six, she said, "oh, well I already have a hold on the door so I'm not going to be able to seat you, sorry." It looked as if there were only about 4 tables seated in the whole place and it did not look busy at all. I usually only write positive reviews, but this was so ridiculous that I felt compelled to post something. Instead I get a chain restaurant. I think this place is in a strange place between a solid locals hangout and a corporate chain look. But never you mind, you aren't looking for a fine dining experience anyway...right? Well then just go all out. The wings were pretty good when I went the first time. They might be a little pricey, but not crazy. However the star of the menu both times I have been has been the Barnyard Burger. Hamburger Patty, Chicken Patty and Egg. This egg was perfect! It yolked all over the burger and made a mess, a tasty meaty mess! I did have a bloody mary because it is a house recipe. Sadly that house is made of salt. I know they are a bar..but you might want to stick to the beers and just skip the drinks...this is where I really just can't give you a good opinion. But I will say the service I got were top notch too! So normally expect a 3 star experience, but If you go in and get Chelsea as a waitress and have that burger....4 stars is easily within reach. read more

Lost stars for slow service...especially considering we were the first and only customers. Also, the nachos had excessive creamy cheese, but no beans and not great salsa or pico. My wife and I spent two single nights in Elko as a way to break up a long drive to and from our holiday. So after arriving at the HI Express across the street on Thursday, 06 August, being unsure what was open for dining in and what wasn't, we got online and ordered from Wingers. The only system said that our order would be ready in 20 minutes, so we walked across the street and down the hill a bit. When I arrived I checked in with the staff and sat down, and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. It took a total of 58 minutes from the time we placed our order online to the time I received it. Heck, it took 36 minutes from the time I arrived at the restaurant to the time I received it. As you might expect, one item (the chicken fingers) were quite hot, while everything else we ordered was freezing cold. Because it was basically one of the few options in the area and because we had had a long day, on the way back we decided to order from Wingers again on Monday, 10 August. So when we were about a half hour away, we ordered online again. The online ordering system once again said that our order would be ready in 20 minutes. It was actually 31 minutes later when we finally arrived in Elko, and we stopped in to pick up the order on our way to the hotel only to find that it hadn't even been started yet. The staff re-booted one of their consoles and sure enough, up pops our order. Once they had it, it only took about 27 minutes to get it ready, but that was still 62 minutes after the had originally placed the order (i.e., the 31 minutes we were still driving, four minutes to check in and figure out what went wrong, and then 27 minutes to actually get the food ready). The fact that they were able to make essentially the same food from the second order in 27 minutes, but I had to wait 36 minutes in the restaurant and 58 minutes from the time of order the first time around annoyed me a bit. The fact that they offer online ordering that tells you your food will be ready in 20 minutes, but both times we tried that service it took an hour annoyed me a lot. On the second visit, the staff told my wife that it was still a new system and that it didn't always work correctly. As a chain, you would think that you'd either get this right or not bother to offer it at all. Why not just say on the website that you should call to make sure your order went through because, while we're good at charging your credit card each time, your actual food order may never actually be sent! read more

The service and food has greatly declined over the years. Wingers was decent at one time but for the last 5 or 6 years we have learned to visit rarely because the food and service is hit or miss. Lately it's been nothing but a miss. Yesterday, I went in with my daughter and had the worse service and the waitress was the rudest person I've ever met. The food was wrong and after being there for an hour they finally got our actual order to us. Then because we sent the items back because they weren't even close to what we ordered, the waitress remarked with, "hmmm.... A couple of picky eaters". Ordered garlic fries like I have in the past this time they weren't garlic fries they were fries with seasoning salt on them, I asked the waitress if they were garlic fries and she offered to bring out a new basket no charge when we got them they were the exact thing we already had and they were ice cold. When we told her they were cold all's she did was offer to have them make us a fresh batch we told her no cause we knew we were going to just get the same thing. The waitress saw my plate was full and didn't ask how the meal was, when she offered a box I said I didn't want to take them home, she avoided the topic completely.
