Ambiance of the facility is cute but very congested. Food is mediocre for the price you pay for. Coming from a big city in AZ if you are going to charge this kind of price your food needs to be on par. I would have given 4 stars... My biggest reason for just only 3 stars, we made a reservation, we came an hour early so we sat at the bar. The seat that they were going to seat us was right in the walking way of everyone. Wine Dive + Kitchen opened up in the same space as 4 Olives. Much of the staff was retained as well as the wine. The opening menu has a lot of interesting items and is certainly a lot easier to read than 4 Olives' menu. This restaurant comes from Wichita and was highly anticipated. I was able to try it twice in the past week. On my first visit last Thursday, Eric R. and I split several appetizers: the wild mushroom arancini, the ahi nachos, and the duck prosciutto. He also had the pork banh mi with regular French fries, which I tried and they were good. We were also given "bar snacks" on the house to try which was essentially chex mix. I had a glass of cava and Eric R. had a glass of moscato. I really liked what we had and Eric R. took the banh mi leftover half home for lunch. Last night we met Kerry P. there so she could try it. I had a glass of rose and Eric R. had Tank 7 on tap. Kerry P. had cab sauv and started with the drunken bread and shared it with Eric R. - it was a savory bread pudding with prosciutto (they said it tasted like stuffing or breakfast casserole). Eric R. and I shared the lamb sliders, which were very tasty and delicious. For his main, Eric R. unexpectedly ordered the cubano which he said was spicy but flavorful. He got the sweet potato fries with truffle oil on my prodding and those were tasty too. I got a half order of the cornmeal fried oysters and a small Fattoush salad. The oysters were really tasty and the half order was huge! The Fattoush was also tasty but it was not Fattoush in reality - maybe rather in the spirit of? The menu claimed naan which was weird but it was served with slices of pita on the side. Traditionally Fattoush has crispy pita chips in the salad. Noticeably absent were tomatoes, but they were replaced with kalamata olive slices. I am okay with a chef's creative freedom, and the salad was good. So far, everything we have had has been pretty good. It is a pricey place to eat still so it is not likely an everyday stop but rather a place for a special occasion or just to grab a glass of wine with friends. Since we moved here I have wanted to try this place. It's perfectly situated off on one of the main strips and the street view is great for people watching and conversation. I had some out of state friends come for a visit and we decided to go give it a try. The staff is friendly and helpful, as was their availability to help and answer questions. Their drinks are plenty strong, one each and we were done. Beautiful presentation of food, I would however suggest the salad dressing on the side. read more

I had such a great meal here. The ahi tuna nachos were perfection. I loved the La Passion drink that I ordered, I love sweet, tartish drinks. My friend enjoyed his old fashioned cocktail. We shared the steak frites and pork chop. The meal dropped a star as my giant bone-in pork chop was raw. The sauce on it was perfection. The green beans and potatoes that came with it were so great. Their tap ran out of CO2 and they didn't have one of the charcuterie meats available. However service was not lacking nor were the dishes I sampled. Wine dive has been a favorite of mine for many years, so when the time came to celebrate and take my team to the best restaurant in town, Wine Dive was a no brainer. However, with a large party (we had 11) the service was absolutely terrible. I know serving a large party can be tough, so I gave some grace to our waitress, Anna, but It felt as though because Anna knew she was going to be getting a guaranteed 20% gratuity because it was a large party, she could neglect our table and do less than the bare minimum. After we left, I called the store and spoke to a manager,Raylin, calmly letting her know how disappointed in the service I was and to tell her I felt taken advantage of because a waitress did less than the bare minimum and still was guaranteed 20% grat. All I wanted was an apology, and a promise to do better next time- so I could feel good about coming back- but instead Raylin tried to gaslight me by saying it was our fault we got terrible service. Just a few pieces of advice for Steven Hospitality Group: 1) Manhattan is a hard place to find help, as a small business owner I get it, but do not lower your standard and cheapen your brand- slow to hire, quick to fire. 2) please train your managers in how to handle conflict resolution- there are so many points throughout my night at Wine Dive that a seasoned manager could have turned the experience around for everyone involved, but instead our whole party is left with a sour taste in our mouth, no pun intended. We've been to this restaurant a handful of times and we try something different every time. They never disappoint!

I would call it upscale restaurant, not something you would normally see in the college town. They have a huge selection of wine. You can have a sample size, a glass or a bottle. You can have several samples to try as many as you want! For an appetizer we had lamb meatballs with mint yogurt sauce. The sauce had a very mild mint flavor, it was not overwhelming and tasted great with lamb meatballs. We ordered beef tenderloin medium rare served with herbed butter over mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was delicious! And we ordered chocolate torte to go. The torte was very creamy and chocolaty, not very sweet which I loved. The place is on a pricey side, but it's worth it! read more

Everyone in town was raving about this restaurant. I wish I would have asked what they ordered, because I think I just didn't pick right. The service was great and the food presentation was beautiful. The bartender made me a delicious chocolate martini even though it wasn't on the menu. My husband had the wild boar and he loved every bite. I had the salmon and it was great. It had pesto on top of it. While it wasn't bad, I definitely don't think the salmon needed it. It took away from the great flavor of the way the salmon was cooked initially. I scraped it off because it was just too much. I subbed the risotto for the potatoes and those were good. I also subbed the asparagus for Brussels sprouts and I asked for them well done. They were very undercooked and it was hard to even get my fork in so I just opted to try one. They were ok. I wouldn't order them again. The one big disappointment was our beef bruschetta appetizer. The beef was hard to chew. The flavors were good but the meat made it not edible for us. There were 6 on the plate and we left 4. The waitress didn't seem to mind that we didn't like it, but I'm not a huge complainer. I realize that there are just different strokes for different folks and it's okay if I try something new and don't like it. We ended the meal with the suggested dessert which was a bread pudding. All in all, not too bad. If I'm back in town I might come back but will definitely try something different. read more

Love coming to this place. The food is always good, and the staff is always friendly. The bartender who is always there when I come remembers what I drink each time. Today I had the shishito peppers and the Cubano. Both were awesome, I still haven't had the bone in ribeye yet, but it always looks great whenever I see it come out. WE came here to eat after the Puzzle Room across the Street (Locked) and I am so glad we did at the behest of my daughter and this place was wonderful. The Food was very good and presentation and cook was perfect. I Would say the hiccup we had was we ordered a bottle of wine and the young lady brought it over and put it on ice and then was gone long enough to make us wonder is she coming back to pour, well about 15mins later she returned and made a comment like it should be cold by now. What? You have white wine and it is not cold and or you do not have a rapid cooler? So we had to wait 15mins and she did not say anything. So we were okay after you start pouring it, and it was very good. We sat we talked, did not feel rushed and enjoyed our meal. I had no clue that Manhattan had an upscale restaurant that has a down-to-earth feel, but I'm grateful to have found it! I came in on a low-key Saturday night and sat at the bar. I was fortunate to not only have a knowledgeable and friendly bartender, but I sat next to a server who was off for the evening, and was able to get all the details about not only what was good on the menu, but around the city. Back to the menu - I ordered a chocolate cocktail drink, the (grilled) fish tacos with a side of aioli sauce (recommended by the server) and deviled eggs, which were all good decisions. Everything was delicious: the drink was strong but not crazy sweet, the 3 tacos were filling and not at all salty even as grilled, and the deviled eggs tasted like deviled eggs, but with more flavor. My family had the most unfortunate experience. Three of us had the beef tenderloin at $45 a steak, you'd think they could cook a steak to the correct temperature. All three steaks came out well done. We ordered two Old Fashioned, mine had glass shards in it. Not salt, not sugar, glass. My fiancé's steak still had the butcher paper on it when it came to the table. We are just in town visiting our daughter at K-State and just happened across this place. Here is how our evening went..... We walked in and met the waitress. She asked if we had reservations and sadly we didn't. She winced and said that it would be like an hour wait or longer just for a table. My wife and I really liked the vibe of the restaurant from what we could see so we asked if we could eat at the bar. She said sure so we made our way to the bar for a drink and possible eats. My wife ordered wine and I perused the drinks menus and the dinner menu. I really liked the choices so I asked my wife to go back over to the hostess and make sure our name is on the list for a real table as we were wedged in the corner of the bar and I really wanted a table to enjoy the evening. Well, when my wife went back up there the manager overheard their conversation and told my wife, no problem, we will be able to get you a seat. Let me tell you, they were able to get us seated at a table before my drink even arrived at the bar!!! How amazing was that? The menu is full of awesome dishes. It was truly hard to choose. We decided on the Ahi Nachos to start off as we saw them on a table next to us. My wife said that the Ahi was so thick it was more like an Entree and that they need to offer two choices; thin or thick slices... I laughed and told her no one ever complains for getting too much food!! For our meal we decided to split the lobster, shrimp, and Crab Mac n Cheese. Excellent choice!!! It was amazing. After dinner we moved on to desert and again, hard choice!! My wife ordered a cappuccino and I ordered just a plain a coffee with cream. By the way, their coffee is delish. For desert I ordered the bread pudding and she ordered the crème brûlée. Seriously, I had to go look into the kitchen because I thought Jesus might be in the kitchen because every dish was heavenly. All kidding aside, from my seat at the table I was able to watch the kitchen all night and let me tell you they were KILLING IT. The chef is amazing and they all ran together like a well oiled machine. I haven't seen such a well run kitchen and the staff here were all amazing. Our waitress was Tessi and she was second to none. She was as busy as a bee but always came by to make sure we had everything we needed. This was truly a special night and we couldn't have picked a better place. It was destiny as we had already went to another place, parked out front, and waited a second because for some reason I just wasn't feeling it. I called an audible and boom we ended up here. Went for a four course meal on Valentine's Day, it was very disappointing. Appetizer, salad, and dessert were good but the filet mignon was not cooked to what was requested and had no flavor, and the mashed potatoes were runny and no flavor. The hostess was wearing faded black jeans with a pink wife beater tank top with a very poor attitude. The staff were not dressed up at all, some looked like they crawled out of bed and wore there bed clothes to work. It was a 4 course meal and was not inexpensive, expected some type of decoration (center piece) for Valentine's Day and a little more upscale. Very disappointing. read more
