It's like an old bar, dark and old. There are plenty of TV screens. I had a margarita that was nothing special. I ordered buffalo wings and fries. The wings were practically naked. We stopped here twice in the matter of being in Kansas for about three days! We first stopped in for lunch and were all impressed with the quality of food and loved the atmosphere. Tanner's burgers are called "Booga's" which is a fun take on a classic! I got the Turkey Booga which comes with guacamole, which I asked for on the side, and the traditional choice of cheese and lettuce. I opted for the sweet potato waffle fries as my side with some spicy ranch. The Turkey Booga was so juicy and flavorful it didn't need any extras such as guacamole. The fries were perfectly crisp and served in a rather large portion. We all enjoyed our food and the atmosphere that we stopped by again before we left just to get some drinks. Great bartenders! The food was consistently good and came out fast! Tons of TVs and volume of games makes for a great environment!

Let me start out by saying that the food has always been good. My go-to choice is the sliders with sweet potato fries, which never fail to make my tastebuds happy. However, the service here is pretty bad... which is sad because this place has a lot of potential especially with where it's located. The servers are always preoccupied with conversations among themselves or on their phones. If you can look past the service, however, this is a great place to grab a quick bite. read more

Started off with queso and added meat sauce. We've had this in Omaha and it's always been good. Here in Manhattan,it comes with pools of grease. I understand there can be some from the meat, but there was so much grease the cheese didn't even stick to the chip. We had grease dip... Gross! The staff kept telling us that's how it was.... One guy said, "Ya, there shouldn't be that much grease." But no one did anything about it. We still were charged for it even though we didn't eat it. I had the club sandwich and it was good. We stayed next door at the courtyard. Walked over and sat at the bar. "Q" the bartender was great. Beers were cheap and cold! The white queso dip was amazing! A little kick but not much. we sat close to the waitress station and the gals were very friendly. Would definitely go back. My hat comes off to this bar & grill. They make great food and the beer is cold like it should be. I haven't been in this building since it was Pat's Blue Ribbon BBQ. Dropped in for a burger before the Randy Roger's show. There was a burger on the menu that caught my eye, 'The Ghost Booga.' First time here. Came in on a Saturday for lunch and enjoyed some buffalo wings and draft beer, both on special. It's very hard to manuver inside this food/bar. We came here about 5 pm on a summer day, and since it was a college town they aren't busy because it is summer! But let me begin with their specials... $3 slurpee on Fridays. That's what caught our eyes!!! Thinking it was going to resemble the 7-eleven slurpee with alcohol.... What we got was a cup(maybe 6oz) of a fruity slurpee flavored drink on ice. This was an alcohol drink but I couldn't detect any alcohol even after 4 of these bad boys. Onto the dishes... The soft pretzel with cheese dip was 80 %soft of the other 20% was harder than a rock... Maybe the menu should read soft with a touch of hard pretzel. Anyways the fried mac-n-cheese was really tasty. Only complaint was how greasy they were. Next dish was the chicken lips aka chicken tenders. I think it was meant to be crispy tenders tossed in your choice of sauce. But my "lips" were not crispy in anyway. The ones I ordered we're Chipotle dressing. If you like a garlicky hot sauce this is the one for you. It was definitely, right up my alley because it reminded me of a Vietnamese style crawfish boil sauce. My sister ordered a philly steak and cheese sub sandwich with fries. Altogether it was really good. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating bc of the over crowing of dining tables. Or maybe the way they were placed. Also because my waitress wasn't very attentive. She didn't have have very many tables but she didn't check on our status of our food or drink as often as we had wanted. Will I frequent again? I had Kelsey as a server in manhattan kansas. She is the rudest server that I have ever had. She was intentionally mean and took her anger out on her customers. Very disgusting experience at Tanners on Moro due to Manger, Charlie. 20 people, family and friends (from Nebraska) came to visit me in Manhattan since i'm a college student here. I wanted to show them the Ville. We chose to go to Tanners and started ordering drinks until the Husker game would be on. The Manger, Charlie REFUSED to change a single tv to the Neb vs Minn game. The staff at Tanners was very helpful with trying to ask for the game to be turned on although, with the unprofessional, disrespectful, and RUDE manager of Tanner refusing to allow at least 20 of his customers watch their favorite team, we all decided to leave and take our money else where to O'MALLEYS my favorite bar in the Ville, which the owner kindly changed the TVs to the neb game. I will never go back to Tanners and I propose that you don't either if you value kind, courteous people who deserve business at their establishments. read more

I go to tanners all the time and usually it is AMAZING! Today our server, Katrina, was rude and talked under her breath as she would pass us. She put her hands on and moved my purse and touched my wallet. She laughed in our faces when we said that our beer was in fact a 16 0z and not the 20 oz beer that was advertised. She rushed to clear the table and stared at us and just watched and waited until we finished our drinks to take them off the table before we were really even done. She was acting incredibly immature.
