This is not a quick service bar. They actually make everything fresh from scratch, it's an amazing spot to find in MHK. 2. Start with a drink with a base liquor you know you like, then move on to something more adventurous. Every drink is balance and on the menu for a reason. 3. Try anything on the food menu; it will be delicious with an element of surprise. From a light snack to a full meal, you won't be disappointed. 4. Tell your friends. Bring your friends. Repeat.

It looked really cool as we walked in, late on a Saturday afternoon after an afternoon of sightseeing, although we were kind of surprised that it was not at all busy. We chose it more for the selection of cocktails, because we had eaten a big lunch and weren't that hungry yet. We told our server that, and she let us linger over a cocktail before even asking us if we were ready to eat. She got it! It's a lovely setting, in an old, beautifully renovated space. We were ushered to the area behind the bar and seated at a table. When we first got there, we were the only ones in the room. But as we stayed and sip our cocktails and eventually ate dinner, it filled up nicely. As usual, I drank Manhattans. Seemed appropriate especially because of where we were. Their Black Manhattans were perfectly crafted and very tasty. For dinner I had the Harissa Pork Ragu and my husband had the Fish Tacos. Both were very good, and right-sized portions. Overall, we loved it! We're hoping our travels bring us back through Manhattan sometime so we can come back!

Cesar salads are big! My husband and I could have shared. Very good though. Would love some large chunks for Parmesan on here, would add to it. Entrees we ordered their boneless ribeye with broccolini and Cabernet sauce. The sauce I could drink, was so good! My husband ordered their dry aged large bone ribeye, was a bit too tender for either of us. He did like the lobster Mac which he ordered for the side Dessert was their lemon cake. Not to sweet but had a zing to it. Was okay.

Placed our order by 6:10pm, then waited 45 minutes for our main entrees. My husband's 12 oz NY strip steak, which included shallot for $54, was room temperature when served. There was no shallot on his plate. He mentioned the temperature to the waitstaff. At least the side of mashed potatoes for $9 was warm. Because I didn't like the non-beef choices on the menu, I ordered a Sunflower salad, the jumbo shrimp cocktail and crab cakes which are listed as starters but I asked for them as my main entree. I received my salad within a reasonable amount of time, but waited the 45 minutes for my main entree to be delivered. I always laugh when Kansas menus say "jumbo" in their description of a shrimp cocktail, but the shrimp on this cocktail were indeed jumbo. They were large enough to make any shrimper, from the south Texas coastline, proud. The crabcakes were tasty and served hot. My guess is that my husband's steak sat for a long time before my crabcakes were cooked. We believe the issue of delayed service was due to a very large group being served in the dining room to the east of the Three Fires main dining room. Our waitstaff was also waitstaff for the group in this dining room. Consequently, all of the attention went to this group and only occasionally to our table. We watched as food was carried from the open kitchen into the secondary dining room. We waited for our food to be served and never received an offer to replenish our water glasses. My husband requested coffee, but it was never served. We finished our meals and waited 25+ minutes for anyone to notice. When the waitress brought the bill she remembered the coffee. My husband told her to forget the coffee and asked for boxes for our leftovers. When my husband requested the to-go boxes, our waitress remembered that I had said I would be ordering dessert when she first greeted us at our table. She asked me what dessert I wanted. I told her to forget it, we were ready to leave. When she returned with the boxes, she offered warm bread pudding to-go "since it was our anniversary." We said sure, but I am fairly certain that it was her attempt to minimize the lackluster service. She left our bill at the table before bringing the to-go boxes or our "complimentary" bread pudding. There was no itemized coffee or dessert on the bill which obviously had been printed before she remembered the coffee or to ask for the dessert. We won't be back ~ at least for quite a long time. Food quality was poor in comparison to previous visits. The smell of cigarette smoke permeated the dining room. Service was good but unacceptable slow for a great dining experience. They were unprepared for serving the main restaurant along with the large group in the second dining room. For a Friday evening between 6pm and 7:30pm, there were many empty tables. Perhaps now we know why.

I was excited to try Full Circle after looking at their menu on YELP…read more It was difficult to find a parking spot so we parked further away from the restaurant. When we arrived there were already several people waiting inside the front door area. There was no one in the front to give our name and number of persons in our group. I had to flag her down as she was running around clearing tables of dirty dishes and also running food to tables. Unfortunately, she was obviously overloaded in her responsibilities because not only did she not greet us, but had a not so friendly look on her face. It's a shame because it set the tone for our experience there. BTW never accept the front table near the front door on a very cold windy day! You'll freeze your butt off. Even with our table on the other side of the room, I could feel the cold air blowing inside the restaurant every time someone opened that door. The staff person took our food orders was friendlier. I did notice after she left that our table had no pre-set napkins and silverware like the other tables around us all had! This proved to be a major contention for me, because our food was served with no silverware brought to us. I got up and approached our server asking for napkins and silverware. She was about to bring water to another table. She replied she'll bring them after she drops off the water glasses elsewhere. I asked her to hand me the napkins and silverware as our eggs will be ice cold by the time she gets to us. Of course she was short on knives. She said this is the only clean ones I have for now. REALLY?!!!!! We had to flag down the front lady to get missing whipped cream for one of our French Toast orders and hot water for our hot tea order. Her non-facial expression made it so unpleasant like we were bothering her. Honestly I totally understand it's a Sunday and the restaurant is super busy, but at least hire enough people, train them to smile and be welcoming and make you feel good about being there. What was obviously missing was a busboy to clear and clean tables, refill water, coffee & hot water for hot tea. After I retrieved our missing silverware two of us tasted our eggs and they were cold. UGH!!! I hate eating cold eggs!!!!! The brisket Benny was not good either! The brisket was thinly sliced and it was way overcooked burnt looking too! On top of all that he later complained of his stomach being quite upset. I used the restroom and it was a mess. The trash can was overflowing where the used towels had fallen on the floor. It did not look clean at all. If bathrooms are not maintained, it makes you wonder how clean their kitchen is when they are cooking your food order?!!!!! I had to flag down our server for our check, who by the way never checked on us, not even once the entire time we were there. I would absolutely NEVER return here!!!!! The food that was served to us was subpar - cold eggs, missing whipped cream, and overcooked unappealing thinly sliced brisket, which resulted in a bad upset stomach.
