Who knew Manhattan would have the chicest speakeasy? This is a hidden gem and I wish everyone got to experience it. Like all speakeasy's they have a hidden entrance. The fun part is you get to press a button and they buzz you in. Then you walk down these stairs and enter into a cute little, intimate space. I was totally blown away by how friendly the staff are. The staff was very helpful and I felt welcomed and at ease. We also came in quite late but they were still able to accommodate a charcuterie board request after their kitchen closed. Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you're ever in the area. The drinks were interesting and quite strong to say the least. And Omgggg you must order the charcuterie board. The mustard is the best darn thing in the world. read more

Great ambiance, drinks, and service. This was a great find while we were in Manhattan for a conference.

I can't tell you much because there are rules. The first rule of speakeasy culture is: You do not talk about speakeasies. The second rule of speakeasy culture is: You do not talk about speakeasies. The bartender knows best; there is no photography allowed. However, there is free wifi! I can tell you this: the ambiance is grand, there are ladies like flappers and the gentlemen are dapper. There are crafted cocktails made with fine spirits. Even the bathroom is cool. We tried three cocktails, all of which were divine. There are membership options but we were fortunate enough to check this out when it was available for "the public" to make reservations. I can tell you one thing for sure: when we were inside, I told Eric R., "It sure doesn't feel like we are in Kansas anymore." Perhaps the Big Apple rather than the Little Apple? Compared to our previous homeland of Vegas, the drink prices are reasonable. Cheers! read more

What a fun place. It was quite busy the night we popped in about 9pm but after a brief wait, we went through the required 'screening' and were sat at the bar. Both of us had some very well made drinks by a bartender who was both competent at his craft and a great conversationalist. Enjoyable on all fronts and the ambiance and playful speakeasy feel was great. Will be back the next time I'm in town. read more

Called ahead for reservations-from out of town-was told Tuesday nights were password entry no membership required. When we arrived we we told we could only sit in a small area with a column in the middle of our group, so it was almost impossible to included everyone in conversation. When we asked for a different table we were told all the tables -which were all empty - were for members only. The staff was very arrogant-if you are going to allow non-members to come in- you should accommodate them. I have had better drinks in a dive bar from an untrained bartender then what we were served. Will absolutely come back and next time get some food because the people next to us got some and it looked delicious. The management is very friendly and knowledge about the menu. I will definitely take any out-of-town guests here, very unique and cool. This place was simply fantastic! Best speakeasy experience I've ever had, mostly thanks to the awesome staff. The drink menu is incredible, the ambiance is very cool, and the service and hospitality was impeccable. The bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable and creative and went out of their way to make it a special experience for our group. I'd recommend sitting at the bar to get the full experience and great interactions with the staff. Every drink we tried was personalized a bit to our tastes, and each one was incredible! My only regret is that this place isn't in Des Moines where I live. But it's worth the trip to Manhattan just to go to 324! Can't wait to come back!!! read more

Great craft cocktails in Manhattan. They take the speakeasy name seriously. You have to get buzzed through the front door. Currently they are open to the public on Wednesday and Thursday, but member only on Friday and Saturday. Decor is early 1900's. Bar seats about 10, and there are about six booths seating 4 each. About cocktails: I was in the mood for a smoke drink, so I went first with Smoke in the Barrell-- dark rum, smoky amaro, creole shrub liqueur, citrus. The bar tender assured me that it was not too sour, and he was correct. It was a good balance of sweet and sour with smokiness noticeable. Scanning the menu I found Nosferatu-- del maguey mezcal, hibiscus syrup, vya sweet vermouth, flamed orange peel garnish. EXCELLENT. Smoky mezcal and sweet herbal notes from the syrup and vermouth. It was a joy to find cocktails of this quality with a staff dedicated to the cocktail craft in Manhattan. read more

Visited this past Friday 2/3/17, as a guest. My husband and I have been interested In joining the speakeasy, and we were disappointed with the service. We waited, standing at the bar for about 15 minutes before being greeted (there were only 2-3 other people sitting at the bar) and it took another 15 minutes to prepare my glass of wine. As a potential new member I would have hoped for a little customer service. Don't hand out guest passes if you're going to treat non -members as second class.. and have more than 2 people working on a Friday night.
