The food here was good!! The coffee was great and the service was amazing! They could not have been kinder here! The ambiance is a perfect coffee shop for getting work done, meeting up with friends, etc. has a great outdoor area too!!

This TINY coffee was nearly $7 after tax.

SO OVERPRICED. Refer to the photo to see their standard sized coffee. Complete ripoff, there was maybe six ounces in there. The coffee itself wasn't even that good, as the espresso almost tasted sour. Can't believe they can stay open with these prices!

The cashier was less than polite and the coffee I ordered tasted a bit burnt. The ambience was lovely, but unfortunately the wifi was so bad that me and miss W had to leave due to the lagging connection.

Pour over.

This is a must try if you find yourself in the area. Located near the college, operating as a coffee shop by day, hip bar by night, Arrow knows what the hell they are doing. Go on a weekday night and you may find yourself in the middle of a very fun and boisterous trivia night. Possibly the best him and tonic I have ever had in my life

I don't think I can put into words how GOOD this place is. They serve messenger (from Kansas City) espresso so that already puts the over the top from all other coffee shops in manhattan. The drinks are always delicious and they don't take forever either. Latte art and everything these guys are impressive. The pastries are also super delicious and beautiful. I love their biscotti and I haven't tried it but I hear the breakfast burrito is a must try. The vibe in the coffee shop is so peaceful yet lively. Great natural lighting in the coffee bar area. Perfect for doing homework or chatting with a friend. If you like it more mysterious while you do your homework go ahead and head to the back where the cocktail lounge is at. There's a couple tables (two in the hallway and on by the bathroom) that make me feel a little more secluded and sometimes that's exactly what I need. Overall this place is 5 stars all the way. Jeez I didn't wanna even mention the location! They have a great location right by campus for students to swing by. Parking is limited so BEWARE.

Arrow's Cocktail Lounge has opened up in its original coffeeshop space! Though we were fashionably late to happy hour (missed it by an hour), we were excited to check out the new space and drink menu. The coffeeshop moved next door at the beginning of the year, and this space expanded and became a beautiful lounge. The drink menu is extensive but was missing the White Russian I enjoyed when the coffeeshop used to offer cocktails in this space previously. Our server knew one of our friends by name, so he must be a regular! I was between two drinks and he told me both were good, so I ordered one and then the other. My first was the Konza Sunrise Sour, which was layered like a sunrise with bourbon, amaretto and a red wine float blended with egg white. My second was the Garden Party with elderflower liquor and prosecco, lemon and basil. I enjoyed both drinks. Eric R. had the strawberry basil julep and the Caribbean Smoke Old Fashioned and was happy with both. Happy hour is 3-6 PM and there are different specials for days of the week - see my photo posted of the menu for the specials. This is a fun place to meet up with friends and have a nice drink or two. Coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages are available, and the pleasing smell of coffee from the coffeeshop next door is welcoming.

If you're looking for a good Starbucks alternative, you could do worse than Arrow. In addition to the classics like americanos and lattes, the staff routinely invents their own drinks which are almost always amazing. The prices are reasonable for coffee, but a little expensive for food (they serve soup and sandwiches, along with baked goods). As far as quality goes, the drinks are very good, and the food is usually tasty as well, though I've had one or two duds in the many times I've been there. Speaking of going back, they have a rewards program where after you buy ten drinks you get a free drink and a t-shirt, which is the best coffee shop rewards program I've encountered so far. The interior/decor is simple but attractive, and I've had nothing but positive experience with the staff. While I've never gotten alcoholic drinks here, I've heard good things from my friends who have. Overall Arrow is a great place to get coffee, and maybe some food if you're willing to splurge a little.

Quiet enough for him :) And a pretty latte

Just down the street from my apartment when I lived on campus, always great to stop by before class and grab a pick me up on the way.

When we arrived there were already several people waiting inside the front door area. There was no one in the front to give our name and number of persons in our group. I had to flag her down as she was running around clearing tables of dirty dishes and also running food to tables. Unfortunately, she was obviously overloaded in her responsibilities because not only did she not greet us, but had a not so friendly look on her face. It's a shame because it set the tone for our experience there. BTW never accept the front table near the front door on a very cold windy day! You'll freeze your butt off. Even with our table on the other side of the room, I could feel the cold air blowing inside the restaurant every time someone opened that door. The staff person took our food orders was friendlier. I did notice after she left that our table had no pre-set napkins and silverware like the other tables around us all had! This proved to be a major contention for me, because our food was served with no silverware brought to us. I got up and approached our server asking for napkins and silverware. She was about to bring water to another table. She replied she'll bring them after she drops off the water glasses elsewhere. I asked her to hand me the napkins and silverware as our eggs will be ice cold by the time she gets to us. Of course she was short on knives. She said this is the only clean ones I have for now. REALLY?!!!!! We had to flag down the front lady to get missing whipped cream for one of our French Toast orders and hot water for our hot tea order. Her non-facial expression made it so unpleasant like we were bothering her. Honestly I totally understand it's a Sunday and the restaurant is super busy, but at least hire enough people, train them to smile and be welcoming and make you feel good about being there. What was obviously missing was a busboy to clear and clean tables, refill water, coffee & hot water for hot tea. After I retrieved our missing silverware two of us tasted our eggs and they were cold. UGH!!! I hate eating cold eggs!!!!! The brisket Benny was not good either! The brisket was thinly sliced and it was way overcooked burnt looking too! On top of all that he later complained of his stomach being quite upset. I used the restroom and it was a mess. The trash can was overflowing where the used towels had fallen on the floor. It did not look clean at all. If bathrooms are not maintained, it makes you wonder how clean their kitchen is when they are cooking your food order?!!!!! I had to flag down our server for our check, who by the way never checked on us, not even once the entire time we were there. I would absolutely NEVER return here!!!!! The food that was served to us was subpar - cold eggs, missing whipped cream, and overcooked unappealing thinly sliced brisket, which resulted in a bad upset stomach.

It looked really cool as we walked in, late on a Saturday afternoon after an afternoon of sightseeing, although we were kind of surprised that it was not at all busy. We chose it more for the selection of cocktails, because we had eaten a big lunch and weren't that hungry yet. We told our server that, and she let us linger over a cocktail before even asking us if we were ready to eat. She got it! It's a lovely setting, in an old, beautifully renovated space. We were ushered to the area behind the bar and seated at a table. When we first got there, we were the only ones in the room. But as we stayed and sip our cocktails and eventually ate dinner, it filled up nicely. As usual, I drank Manhattans. Seemed appropriate especially because of where we were. Their Black Manhattans were perfectly crafted and very tasty. For dinner I had the Harissa Pork Ragu and my husband had the Fish Tacos. Both were very good, and right-sized portions. Overall, we loved it! We're hoping our travels bring us back through Manhattan sometime so we can come back!

Luckily, on my most recent visit, my girlfriend and I were able to be seated immediately. If you've never had a Nancy (light beer with a splash of pineapple juice), go ahead and order that first while you look at the menu. It isn't well known outside of Aggieville unless you are a KSU alum. Then order the raspberry chipotle black bean dip. It sounds odd, but is super good. On this visit, I tried "The Bird", which is a southwest chicken sandwich on a hoagie roll. It was super filling, and between that and the dip, I wasn't able to finish everything. Must stop in Aggieville (at least during the daylight hours).
