Cute little locally owned coffee shop that I'm sure makes for a great local hangout for college students to catch up or just do some studying. They have a "secret flavor" menu sitting on their front counter of some cool drink flavors if you're looking for that specialty flavor! I got a s'mores iced latte and we also got another coffee drink, a muffin and breakfast panini as they were out of all other breakfast breads for a traditional sandwich. The panini ended up being great! The muffin we had ordered had great flavor but the inside was raw! Huge potential just needs a little more consistency! read more

Went in & ordered an iced white chocolate mocha. While at work, I noticed something in my straw. Doesn't look like coffee grounds or a coffee filter.....it literally looks like small clumps of hair/lint. Absolutely disgusting. Called the store & spoke with manager, Brittany, who didn't care & told me that "things happen" & that she'd comp me a drink for my next visit. Best Coffee in Kansas! I come here multiple times a week. Every employee is knowledgable and helpful and you can tell they are all passionate about this business. Every coffee drink and pastry I have had has been delicious and every time I come I am greeted by a friendly smile! They do amazing pour over coffees and their pineapple upside down muffin will change your life. The wait time is always short and they even have a quick drive thru if you are in a hurry! read more

Excellent food and coffee. TERRIBLE drive-thru service. I've tested this. Other people who regularly go there have also tested this. First and second time I figured that the staff was having a bad day. I'm always pleasant and polite and clear with my order. EVERY TIME they mess up at least one thing. I'm not an ass and I have better things to worry about, so I never go back or bring it up for a refund. I just don't care enough. Doesn't matter who is working. I've had a barista admit to not paying attention before. They don't care about their drive thru. Pleasant atmosphere otherwise. Paramour Coffee is a great coffee shop on the western side of Manhattan, KS! The owner is very passionate about coffee and loves to give out free samples. The atmosphere is nice - it's located adjacent to a bank, but the interior is decorated very nicely and it's a comfortable atmosphere for studying/working. The coffee drinks I've had have all been very good and they also offer awesome pastries. The pineapple upside down muffin sounds weird, but is delicious. If you're on the west side of town, you have to try Paramour! read more

I went here for a coffee and some breakfast. The first thing I noticed was the decor - it has a modern look with interesting lighting and nice seats and tables (very comfortable). The people working there were very friendly, and I got my order in just a few minutes. I ordered the maple bacon scone, which was quite tasty, and a large cappuccino, which was ok. The prices were a bit lower than its nearby competitors which was a plus. Since it was a nice morning I ended up sitting in the outdoor seating, which had a nice view of the trees nearby. The team at Paramour Coffee is magnificent and their coffee and delicious treats are the creamy whip on your premium brew! PERFECTION! When I pulled up to order I was greeted by a true professional barista who knew his stuff! I simply said to the man, who quickly became a trusted friend, I'll take a cup of something sweet and strong! He knew precisely what to prepare and even recommended a delightful treat that made a heavenly pair! I must say that I was very impressed by my experience and even more so by my new friend, Joey! This coffee place is the best place I've been to. The paninis are perfect the ham is cut into big chunks so it doesn't come out plus the pesto is very fresh and the coffee is robust way better than Starbucks! Starbucks is nothing compared to this! read more

No joke--best espresso--and chai--in town! The owner's experience in the coffee business shows, and he's passed his knowledge along to his staff. Starbucks this is not. The capps are perfectly foamed; the chai is perfectly spiced; the lattes are balanced; black coffee is smooth....You can't go wrong. Also, you can get your coffee in a real, ceramic cup. Just mention that you drink is for here. All of their baked goods are tasty--I'm partial to the carrot cake muffins; DD likes the blueberry lemon ones; DH likes the maple-bacon scones. Super family friendly, and they have bicycle parking. The patio is great in the Spring/Fall. There's a gas fireplace inside. The atmosphere is German-modern meets Midwest USA. Very cool. Spacious, clean restrooms, too. If, for some reason, your beverage doesn't turn out the way you want, tell the staff and they'll fix it. Or if you had bad service, tell them. This is a local place owned by a local guy who cares about his clientele. read more

This is the only place in town with a cinnamon sugar flavored coffee--my favorite! Very friendly staff and they offer a military discount. However, the wait is VERY long. I was the only customer and it took over 10 minutes. Every time I go there, the wait is excessive. Also, my drink tastes very different every time I go. Sometimes it is very watered down and I cannot taste the flavoring (which costs extra). Other times it is way too sweet. I really want to like this place, and I have gone a lot, but I'm just tired of waiting a long time for a coffee I'm disappointed in. read more

Best latte in Manhattan and we've tried them all! Great customer service; barista knew her lattes and made great recommendations. Cinnamon roll latte was great even tho' I'm not crazy about white chocolate. Make sure to check out their specialty lattes (on the counter) before making up your mind. Hours are made for early bird customers. Unfortunately we live out of town but we'll remember this place when we are back. read more
