I love hosting events at Rockin' K's 1880 Event Space. The menu and prices are good. The food and its presentation are great. And the service is outstanding. In addition to great pre-event communication and during-event assistance, they have everything you need and want, including flexible room setups, both dinner and cocktail tables with linen service, portable bar available, tons of natural light from the big windows dressed with both sheer and thick blinds, built-in audiovisual everything (screen, computer hookup, microphone, even music), easy dietary accommodations, containers for leftovers, and even a cart to roll all your stuff out to your car. read more

TERRIBLE service. Had to wait forever to order as well as to get drinks refilled. Had to wait forever at every stage of the process. To make matters worse, the catty waitresses at the counter often were doing absolutely NOTHING and were totally aware of the shoddy service!!!! Would like to have just walked out! Amazing that management would tolerate such ATROCIOUS, totally pathetic service-and that good loyal customers should be treated in a totally SECOND-CLASS way by BARTENDERS-that doesn't even fulfil the most minimal standards of any respectable restaurant. Avoid unless you think customers deserve to be treated like dirt!!! So many of the waitresses are enormously catty. (I guess the K in Rockin K's stands for "Katty"???) They will be more or less nice if they wait on you - as cold as can be if they aren't-it's like the DMV. Many are really even quite openly rude and disrespectful behind your back. There is a waitress named Marquel. Marquel always does the bare minimum-always deliberately makes me wait to get the bill because I give her terrible tips because she's so obviously God-awful at her job. She will also be even openly rude towards customers-particularly if she isn't their server-smirking, snickering behind their backs, completely juvenile, pathetic stuff. This has happened to me numerous times. How she has not long since been fired is a total mystery to me and reveals how poorly managed Rockin K's is. In fact, she is even in the promo video on Rockin K's website-apparently that she is being held up as even some model employee. Far from it!!! They also have a bunch of immature teenage girls working for them. One even dressed on Graduation Saturday in a very inappropriate, very revealing halter top. When I directly complained to the Manager, he said, "She has the right to dress how she wants-right?" Excuse me????? You can set a dress code-right? This place is so politically-correct. If you're a conservative and find all this crap irritating and stupid, stay far away! As previously said, the waitresses are often quite catty and are FULLY allowed to be. As I understand, if they don't want to wait on somebody, they basically can refuse to do that without even having to give a good reason for it-which I think is totally wrong. So, for example, if they think they won't make a big tip off you, they can just refuse to wait on you-which I think is a very poor work attitude. In May, when I complained to the Manager Blake about how I felt an employee had been rude to me, NOT ONLY did he NOT apologize for the employee, but he sent me back a very snotty reply basically stating that Rockin K's would henceforth be VERY INTENTIONALLY providing me with terrible service-which has indeed occurred. Literally, if the ketchup bottle is empty or the salt shaker is empty, I get up myself and walk to another table and just take it because all the employees are up by the counter DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! In his very snotty reply, the petty Manager also even complained about having to provide me with "special treatment" because they had to process my cash payments!!!! SO IF YOU WANT TO PAY IN CASH, THEY MAY YELL AT YOU!!!! RIDICULOUS! Many of the waitresses are EXTREMELY UNAPPRECIATIVE, too. Even though sometimes the service wasn't even that good, I would give a tip that amounted to probably 35%+ of the bill and they would give me this look like "Why the f*ck are you being so damn cheap?" Most of the cooks are Mexican even though this isn't a Mexican place. I don't know for sure, but I've often wondered if Rockin K's is employing illegal workers in blatant violation of President Trump's policies? Lots of cowtowing to employees with very little regard for customers' concerns. I had previously posted a negative review and two of the people who worked at Rockin K's directly confronted me about my negative review. THIS IS THOROUGHLY INAPPROPRIATE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. IF YOU DON'T LIKE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, DON'T TREAT THE CUSTOMERS TERRIBLY!!! If you like poor service and being treated like sh*t, this is your dream place. read more

Service was good. Food...not so much. I feel like maybe the chefs should consider actually trying some of the food to see if the recipes are worthwhile. I ordered the veggie quinoa wrap and thankfully someone else at the table had they barbecue sauce and someone else had a salsa because mine was probably the most boring concoction I've ever tried to consume. Rockin K's Rocks! Recently had an event in their space and I highly recommend. The staff was very helpful and the cookies were really good. Service has always been good and I personally think the food is great. I'm kinda wondering why I don't go there more often. read more

Went for brunch this morning which wasn't as good as our dinner there a few weeks ago. Much busier but service was fine. The blueberry scone with gravy was an odd combination, ad the gravy was just okay. The scone was good, though. Bacon was lukewarm at best. I'd recommend something on the menu that they'd have to make fresh. The gravy, scone, and bacon were clearly warmed up at best. read more

This is the second time we've had brunch there and will be the last. Service is poor! We arrived there and there were only a few patrons so we figured it shouldn't take too long. It started filling up quickly and a table of 8 was seated after we were there. We ordered then, before the big table and then we waited, and waited, and waited. Meanwhile the large table that ordered after we did, received their food. I asked our server, and she made an excuse and about 15 minutes later, after I asked again, we received our cool food. During this time the server would refill others coffee and never offered us any. She walked right by with the coffee pot. When she brought the check, I asked her if we had offended her, as she ignored us. She said no. The manager came to our table and said he would take off 15% off the bill, which he did. We will not be returning to this establishment. Both times we have been there the wait staff has not seemed well trained and as a result the service is very slow. read more
