Lobster Roll was over-mayonnaised, couldn't taste the lobster. French fries were nothing special.

We had a reservation for dinner but were placed at a high top near the bar. Manager/Host threw a temper tantrum when we asked for a table. We were told it was because of a cold evening, all the outdoor reservations were moved inside with too many large parties to accommodate; so they essentially overbooked. Not what I would expect when making a dinner reservation nor what I would expect from the host. The server did apologize and told us the management often overbooked the dining room. The wine list was rather extensive and took us a long time to make a selection. We were then told our selection wasn't available and were given a significant up-charged substitute which we declined. The wine menu was out of date, weird for it being on an iPad. There were no cabs on the menu for less than $100/bottle, very frustrating. It was an incredibly loud dining environment. Would not recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy a conversation, I found myself trying to lip read the other couple we were with. Food was average. Our order was messed up and half the party had to wait while the mistakes were corrected. Blame kept on getting shifted from management to servers to kitchen staff. Tried it and probably won't go back.

Dined in the other night. Got there in time to try out the Happy Hour Drinks and snax. The Limoncello is my drink of choice and the Dive Manhattan my husband's. We had a new girl wait on us and she was fantastic. Our drinks were good, service better. We had the Mediterranean Meatballs and Sugar Snap Peas from the happy hour menu. Those meatballs were flavorful and tender a super good choice. Also got the Sugar Snap Peas from the HH menu. This is my new FAVORITE appetizer. They have a wonderful crunch and are cooked in this butter combo that makes them really tasty. We ordered a salad and burger to share for dinner and they did not disappoint. They have outside seating for a more casual atmosphere and inside is more intimate. Both are lovely places to sit. I recommend!!

Delicious brunch, friendly staff and great location. We enjoyed the Mediterranean Meatballs, Nashville Chicken and Waffles and the Dive Burger. So yummy! We will definitely be back when visiting Lawrence.

The food and wine were amazing here. We will definitely return. Hands down one of the best restaurants we have tried in Lawrence that was new to us. We would return. Service was fast and friendly and we loved the atmosphere of the place.

Amazing food! Excellent service! Beautiful ambiance and interior. Everything was perfect! The restaurant has a nice menu selection. Plenty of yummy plates to try. Lots of healthy options. We came here for some appetizers and desserts and drinks. We ordered the Burrata and the charcuterie board (not on the menu) as appetizers. We also ordered several of their signature cocktail drinks off of the menu. Everything was so good! For dessert we tried the Meyer lemon eevo cake, the lemon sorbet, and the tiramisu. Everything was amazing! The service was excellent. Everyone was professional, super friendly and welcoming, and the food all came out quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner or just drinks. It was packed on a Wednesday night! So make reservations. Prices are reasonable. I look forward to coming back and trying some new things.

Our server was very polite, explained things well and gave us a warm welcome & great experience for it being our first time. The garlic shrimp was really good, garlic was perfect and not overbearing. The shrimp was cooked great and flavored perfectly. My lady loved the seafood mac! The cake was good as well, we thought it would be better topped with a chocolate drizzle and maybe warmed up but it was still delicious! And the espresso martini was spot on. We will be back!!

We went during happy hour and the food...the service...the ambience...the wine.. were all fabulous! We shared salads and appetizers. So delicious! Traveling through Lawrence ...what an enjoyable find!

This was my first time here & it was great! I got the beet salad & it was delicious. My friends got the bahn mi and the fish tacos and both enjoyed them. We ordered the beer cheese & pretzels but they never brought them out. That sounded great though! I didn't have a drink because they just seemed a little overpriced. I'd like to go back one day & maybe try the pretzels.

This is a fairly new place. On weekends, it is crowded, and most likely, you will need a reservation. This is the perfect place to take a date for dinner. They have a great selection of wines. Food was outstanding. Ossobuco was on the special menu of the day. It was an interesting combination. I overheard that one of the chefs is Moroccan. It is great that they give them the ok to explore with new dishes. Place is a little pricey but worth it

We had a pleasant time eating at Wine Dive + Kitchen Lawrence location for a Valentine's Day celebration. We were sat towards the wine room and restroom which was fine but a bit cramped. The service started off with an iPad to select drinks and wines in which we chose the Fattoria Lavacchio Chianti Puro 2020 and Easton Zinfandel Amador County 2016 to start off. Unfortunately, they were out of the bone marrow Valentine's Day a la Carte menu so we ordered our entrees right away. The lamb chop was perfectly cooked at a medium temperature and did not give the distinctive gamey smell that is typical for this kind of meat. The jelly that was paired with the lamb chops felt more of a mint jelly rather than Jalapeño and a bit sweet for my preference. Broccolini and polenta were a bit under seasoned but the broccolini had a nice char that added to the flavor. Our other dish was the duck breast which was also perfectly cooked to desired temperature of medium well but a bit fatty for our preference. The parsnip and apple puree were a perfect balance of sweet and spice. We ended the night with a Manhattan (not pictured) which was a bit light and not liquor forward. Cocktails seem to be best bang for your buck if you visit during happy hour. Overall, a good experience for our date night and impressive food that left us wanting to come back for more!

Chicken parm is not made w thigh meat anywhere! Seems like it was a way to use a 1.50 piece of chicken and .50 of grits and charge 38.00. Last night may 30 i ordered the chicken milanese w breast meat as you can see from my attachment from menu. Nope once again took a cut of the chicken and dark meat again and I hate dark meat. Cut it in half and showed waitress who went and talked to the kitchen. They said that when they butcher the chicken they sometimes get thigh meat w the breast???? What? Unbelievable that a manager didn't come to discuss but 35.00 bucks for thigh and arugula salad is robbery. She was kind enough to take off bill but still feel 715 is trying to pull one over again which might explain all the empty seats as well. Have shared this story w a few folks who have said it has gone downhill in the last several months. The prices you charge are over the top. Plenty of other places in town to eat like q39 where you can get a 3 meat platter w 2 sides and order of wings for the same price as 715's chicken thigh and arugula salad!

The focaccia bread was sort of dense. The salad course was good but portioning was very small in my opinion. The first main was brisket and grits. It was average, needed salt and some veggie to cut thru super rich flavor. Second main was pasta and that was most disappointing course. Really didn't taste like much and tiny portion. Third course was the best, slightly above average. Good steak with potatoes and veggies. Decent portion and good flavors. The desert was absolutely disaster in my opinion. It was mint chocolate chip ice cream and sort of thin crispy dough covered in cinnamon sugar. First of all flavors did not match and ice cream was half melted by the time we were served. Overall food was just okay. The drinks: I got gin cocktail that was good and red glass of wine with Taylor's recommendation and I have enjoyed it both. My husband got wine pairing and that was good as well. The personal was super friendly and helpful. The ambiance was great and course meal experience was great but food disappointed.

Dining at this new restaurant feels like dining at a Michelin one-star restaurant in France without the cost of airfare or hotel. It is certainly the best in Lawrence, and a major step up from the rest. This is not surprising when you find out about the training of the chefs. For example, the Sous Chef Finnegan Huerter was trained at one of the greatest chef schools in the world, the famous Cordon Bleu in Paris. We got the lemonade, San Pellegrino (big bottle), Mache Salad (large enough to split between the two of us), Salmon, Celeriac Dauphinoise, Opera Cake, and the French Press Coffee Service shared between the two of us. Many of the preparations at this wonderful French restaurant are not available at any other restaurants in Lawrence and change frequently. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is open only on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting at 5 pm. When arriving, you will not be able to find the restaurant unless you know in advance where it is. The small ornate sign at the entrance is not visible from the street. There is a large parking lot at the entrance, which is very convenient unless there is a handicapped person in your party. The main entrance requires climbing a flight of stairs. If that is a problem for you, there is a handicapped parking space behind the restaurant, with two other ways to enter. One includes a small flight of stairs and the other consists of a ramp with no stairs providing wheelchair access. But this is the puzzle. While the stairs at the front entrance are well lit, the rear entrance has no lights at all. I do not understand a handicapped entrance in the dark with no lights at all. Evidently in good weather, there is outdoor dining in back with lights, but in the winter, there is no outdoor dining and no lights at all at the rear, where the handicapped access is locate. Best to avoid the rear entrance, unless you absolutely need it for a wheelchair. I anticipate that this relatively new restaurant plans to fix the lighting problem on its wheelchair access ramp. In fact I doubt whether the current lack of lighting on that ramp is ADA compliant.
