Stopped here after disembarking our cruise ship. You have to get the Key Lime Pie frozen drink. It will blow your mind. There were some ladies sitting next to us at the bar and they saw what we ordered and all ordered some as well. They were speechless after their first sip. The bartenders were extremely friendly and attentive. I don't know how they work so hard with it being a million degrees outside and 100% humidity. So tip them well. We ordered the Conch Fritters and those were a super tasty snack. Before we left, the bartender made sure to give us the staple gun and marker so that we could leave our $1 bill on the wall. The whole place is covered in dollar bills, probably thousands of dollars. This is definitely a great place to hang for a while and get your drink on. read more

I was recommended Willie Ts by one of the locals. It was your typical bar and grill. Cool scene, live music, and nice outdoor seating. The food is very average. I got a chicken Quesadilla which is hard to mess up, but it was good. I tried the mixed seafood pasta and it was under seasoned, and the calamari was way over cooked. My mojito was very weak and watery. The guy host was friendly and funny coming in, but our first server was very unhelpful and rude. We where asking questions and he kept trying to walk away and was very short. We weren't asking for a complex explanation and it was not busy. He walked away and stood up against a post doing nothing. Another waiter took over and she was awesome, friendly, and gave us some cool info about the area. Oh my God, I love this place so much and I highly recommend that if you go to Key West and want to have lunch or dinner here on Duval street. The main reason why we end up having dinner here was that they had live music so that caught my attention, once we enter the lady in charge took us to a nice table outside so that I liked it too. Everyone was wearing masks and trying to social distance. I absolutely loved my Philly cheesesteaks it was so delicious, tender, and tasty. The live music and shrimp was the best part. I felt bad for our waitress as she was the only waitress for the entire place on a Friday afternoon. We had the nachos and fried coconut shrimp. The shrimp was fantastic. The nachos were some of the lamest I've ever had. It was melted shredded cheese, and some was so hard/overcooked, it was rock solid. Duval St is a well known tourist trap and this place isn't any different. The service was terrible. Took longer to get our check than it did to get our food. A hamburger and fries was $19.34. I asked for no cheese and no onion but got both. Came on a regular non toasted sesame bun. Mayo on the side. Like I don't work here? Put the mayo on yourself. I put two $20's in to get change and waiter didn't bring the change part of the $19.34 and only gave me change for the other $20 so the 66 cents became his only tip. I really wanted to enjoy some oysters while on their vacation and this place came highly recommended for them, so on our last full day of vacation we came here for lunch. I hate to say I was disappointed There were no oysters ! And with the coronavirus they have different menus by the week it seems. We got the mahi mahi tacos and they were just fried chunks of mahi mahi and just no flavor. It felt like a taco with the salsa they used. You couldn't taste the mahi mahi at all :( the calamari we got as an appetizer was probably the best thing and it was because of the dipping sauce. My Girlfriend and I passed by this bar a few times our first day in Key West and said we wanted to stop in during our night time shenanigans and we sure did. It was our last stop one of our nights and we ended up staying until closing. The guitarist/singer was very talented and a lot of fun. We sat at the bar and had a great time. The only complaint was being able to smoke at the bar seating but the fans did a fair job at keeping the smoke away. We will definitely be back on our next key west getaway. Ok, without a doubt, Willie T's is one of the best dive bars in Key West.. Hell, for that matter, one of the best bars period!! Kat and Katie provide some amazing, friendly service, and you will feel like a local in no time. They serve you some frosty drinks here, but the word of the day here is fun. With that in mind, they always seem to have some very good live music playing on stage. My personal favorite is Tim Hollohan, a performer who channels some serious Jimmy Buffet and soft rock favorites. However, the big surprise at Willie T's is their food. I ordered their Seafood Quiche, a stunning dish loaded with crab, shrimp, and a whole fish wagon of seafood delights. This culinary tour de force was seriously the best thing that I have eaten in Key West. In fact, It is so good that I'm happy I have a few more days left in the Conch Republic, if for no other reason than to experience its creamy, flakey seafood deliciousness. read more

This was the worst meal I had (for the price) in Key West. Maybe I chose the wrong item? We came for the Mojitos and decided to try their dinner. I am the kind of person that won't throw food out no matter what. I couldn't even eat the flatbread pizza. It was like cardboard. Out of guilt, I asked for a take out box and ended up throwing it out at the condo (left it in the frig a few days before tossing it). My husband said his burger was pretty good so it wasn't a total loss. I do feel like the drinks were mostly cups of ice. They always have good live music on the outdoor stage. The singer that night actually played the long version (including the intro) of the song Amy. He had the crowd all singing along (clearly the right age group for the song....). We tried going to eat there as a group of 8. The lady in the front was extremely rude. We were telling her we were 8 and she kept telling us in a condescending manner that she couldn't do it. The people asking in the group were Hispanic and their first language isn't English. She seemed to be extremely frustrated at something so simple.
