I wanted a real meal instead of fried food. The server was not very participatory. Granted he did refill water and tea. But I never saw him except for the bill. As far as the food goes it was mediocre at best. I ordered the caprese salad. The basil was not fresh. Their rendition had an olive tampinod the was totally tasteless and unnecessary. Love this bar. Came on the first night of fantasy fest and the "maybe" manager was so rude. The guys we were with didn't have shirts on (because of the occasion) and he rudely shunned us and told us 'you need to wear a shirt in here,' can totally understand and respect the rules but damn no need to be so rude. This place is Great! It is right down from the hotel we stayed at (also great) The Cabana Inn, so it was super easy but the real draw is the excellent music by solo guitar player / singers. Excellent players, fun performers, not a dud ever on stage. It is close, intimate, not too, too loud. which you know can be a problem and just a really good time, any time you drop in. I have had dinner here and it was fine, but off the app. menue I ordered the SW Eggrolls a couple different times and they are excellent! And surprisingly, put on the table simply too hot to eat! When does that ever happen with bar food? Natchos delivered to the next table over looked unbelievable. You better be hungry. Two players we saw were Adam Sands and Tim Hollohan, both excellent and you should look for them when you are in town. Both play here often. read more

Haven't gotten out food yet but so far the experience it terrible. Waitress tried to skip one of our parties orders (apparently missed that 1/4 of the table was there). The drinks took over 10 minutes to get with only half of the tables filled. Then the "drink runner" came out with drinks and laughed saying "I don't know what this is" to a drink she brought to the table, which brought questions to our table... turned out to be the bourbon cooler which tasted like a terrible, watered down whiskey sour with "bourbon" that did not taste like the claimed Bulleit. A place everyone should go and staple a dollar to the wall! We stopped for a quick drink, and we ended up staying a little longer than planned. This place draws you in with the immense amount of dollar bills hanging up. We had a great seat to be able to hear the music and watch the steady flow of traffic in and out of the kitchen. We decided to try the conch fritters, and I actually did not like them. I bet others think they are so different them at they love them. I would have given more stars if we stayed for dinner...everything looked great and had huge portions. read more

Are used to come here back in the 80s and 90s when it was called barefoot bombs. This place is nowhere near as cool as that place was but it tries. Live music hanging out on the street and plenty of atmosphere. This is a bit off the party section of Duval although it is on Duval Street. When we arrived We were seated right away and then we waited for 14 minutes before anybody approached us. We are just gotten up to try to find somebody to get us drinks when she wandered over. She was pretty ambivalent about her job the entire day. The food is Key West tourist food and priced for the Key West tourist. If I still lived here I would never come here. We had nachos which were pretty average and comforters which were pretty good. The sauce that came with them had good flavor but it was super thin it had the texture of milk. We were going to have dinner but with the relatively slow service and the generic and overpriced menu we decided to go somewhere else. We stopped here the night before to have a drink and asked for a raspberry Stoli and soda with the lemon. We got something in a glass with a lime. It wasn't raspberry stoli but it might have been Berry some thing. My take on it is that this place knows there's a never ending supply of tourists so the quality of the service doesn't need to be very good. It's a shame because the place that sat in the spot previously was epic. I'm giving this many stars because the physical premises are pretty fun and the music is good but you just don't wanna hang out here if you're not a tourist. read more

Music, food, and great service--the Saturday night trifecta. My husband had the blackened mahi wrap with fries. I had the blackened mahi sandwich with cheese. We'd had a huge lunch, so a quick late night bite to eat on Duval Street was perfect for us. The musicians were changing out as we finished. They must play for awhile. read more

We walked it to spend money on drinks and listen to music. Looking forward to it. I looked around and noticed people smoking cigarettes and weed. So I lit up my cigar. No sooner than I a good puff the bartender said no cigars allowed. I pointed out that people were smoking cigarettes and illegal weed but I can't have a cigar. He was like no cigars. I thought it was going to be great due to the live band and dollar bills taped everywhere until we were reprimanded by a old lady hostess whom yelled at my husband in front of everyone seated around us for seating ourselves (no one was at hostess stand and we never even saw the stand cause it looks a part of the bar. We took these pics before she ruined our day. She was also very rude because my husband didn't have his shirt on at first ( it was like 100 degrees and outside bar). We understand u can't go into a bar without shirt but she didn't have to raise her voice at us and make a scene. She needs to retire already since she is a bitter old woman in a younger atmosphere. Also she was openly blowing her nose at hostess stand while people are trying to eat, I believe that's worse than having your shirt off. I will never go here again. And we do cruise a lot. read more

John Lamere puts on such a great show, with tons of 80s hits like John Cougar Mellancamp's Jack & Diane. The place is very open, and anywhere you sit, you'll hear loud and clear. At first, I didn't know if she was just another fan asking for my autograph or a small conversation... It turns out that her name is Chasity, and she's a bartender at Willie T's. After a little bit of bantering it was refreshing to find that Chasity's attitude toward me being a complete stranger was nice, serendipitous, and welcoming. Key West equals food, I was searching for fish tacos and happened upon their special today Blackened Mahi-mahi Tacos! Fortunately Outside seating was available away from the loud music happening at the bar. Great selection of local bottled beers went nicely with my husband's blackened mahi sandwich and my 3 blackened mahi tacos topped with a fresh mango salsa surrounding hot rice. Filthy bathrooms. The place may be old, but you can still keep it clean. Even worse, my silverware was dirty. When the server brought a replacement it was dirty as well and the server acted like I was the problem. The music, like most places in Key West, is very loud. Some bands are good, but they've also got a few regulars that should be doing bar mitzvahs. If I return, I will not eat and would only drink bottled beer due to their seeming lack of interest in cleanliness. read more

This is such a fun bar on Duval! I wish I knew our waitress name, she was covered in tattoos and basically servings all the upfront tables alone. She was so sweet, fast and on top of everything. Great service! We came for apps and drinks. I had a piña colada and it was so yummy! My sister had a rum and coke and enjoyed it too. The food is typical bar food but he atmosphere is fun. The dollar bill decor is awesome and this can read the notes of them from your table. They also had live music which is so fun. Outdoor seating which we loved so we could enjoy the weather!
