Quick service in a tight space! There is a small dance floor and an autistic band that was playing. Plenty of room outside the actual and to talk and dance in the parking lot. Very loud even if you are I'm the dining area and so t forget to check out the gift shop! read more

The best pork sandwich I've ever had in my life! Pork was so tender and the Carolina white barbecue sauce on it made it extra special drinks are good. They make them strong or if you prefer lighter they'll do that too. The people are friendly and Bryan at the front bar is a lot of fun. read more

I stopped here for a quick drink. It was around 10am (coming from a cruise ship), so only the outside bar was open. The bartender was friendly, but my sangria was weak sauce. Not her fault, since sangria would be pre-made. Chatting with some of the other tourists was fun. This is definitely a tourist hangout. When I was here years ago, they sold some of their seasoning mix. I didn't notice anything like that this time. They had a small window that displayed a couple souvenir shirts only. read more

We came here May 2025 pretty nice bar lots of seating live music they even have a gift shop that sells all their shirts. Three different bars. The roosters are walking around the eating area so if you're opposed to that don't come here. Haha. Good prices. Well for Key West . read more

Twenty years ago my parents first experienced the amazing vibe of Hog's Breath Saloon, so this was a must stop on my first visit to Key West! Hog's Breath did not disappoint and gained another fan for life! The management at HB knows who their clientele are and caters to this group in all aspects of the saloon from the live bands performing to the amazing employees working to make one's visit great. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly and even the guy in the gift shop was fun to interact with while shopping. The laid back dive bar vibe is just what a wandering traveler needs. The drinks are mixed just right and the beer is ice cold. While this may be a "dive bar", they have the nicest restrooms in Key West! We enjoyed ourselves so much we stopped by two nights in a row on our short visit to KW. Definitely a place I could be a regular at if I lived closer! read more

My review is strictly for entertainment and cocktails. We've been in town all week. We've managed to find ourselves back here almost every night because of the quality of the musicians on stage. The staff here is very attentive and friendly, and for that reason we really felt welcomed, even though it can get rather busy in the evenings, Brian, who I believe is one of the floor managers made a point of getting to know us through the week and we really enjoyed our conversations through the week with him. I drink cranberry with Tito all week and they were mixed very well, but never short and my wife found a new beer. She liked called crazy lady which is made locally here. If you're looking for a place to enjoy some live entertainment in the evening and a cocktail that's made fairly for a decent price. This is your place. read more

This is an absolute must visit in Key West!! I knew about this bar but just so happened to stumble upon it while driving around our golf cart in key west. LOVED IT! Great music and even better drinks. The crowd was a fun atmosphere too. And the waitress was very nice!! We only stayed for drinks but I would recommend the visit. And you can keep your cup!! Tip: parking is right out front with a person on duty so we felt safe leaving items in our golf cart. read more

The Hog's Breath Saloon is an old bar but looks much older in the day time where you can easily see the age of withered wood but that's what gives the place its charm. We knew the bass player in the live band that was playing here and it was my birthday so we went to have fun and dance. The band was taking song requests and decided to give them a hard 80's song and they knocked it out of the park. The food is very basic and the chicken wings are great. The drinks are average and the prices are fair even for Key West. Had a fun time on my birthday and will always come back. read more

If you are visiting in Key West - Hog's Breath Saloon should be put in your itinerary of places to visit. I have been here at least a dozen or so more times. It is completely laid back, away from all the craziness on Duval Street. When you walk in it is completely unpretentious but full of personality. Just cold beer , strong drinks and live music. Food Wise, it is what you what expect, Bar Type Food - all good. Hog's Breath Saloon has a nice outdoor area that is where you will find Local Bands performing. The Gift Shop has all the Fun Touristy Clothing you can purchase. Hog's Breath isn't trying to impress anyone, and that's exactly why it does. It has that authentic, no-frills character that is increasingly rare--and in Key West, it fits right in. This place has been in business since the late 1980's, and there is a reason for that. read more

We stopped in when our cruise ship docked. We love the fish dip and believe it is the we ever tasted. When we arrived we were greeted by the hostess we a friendly welcoming. The inside of the pub is warm and welcoming and very comfortable. I would recommend the Hogs Breath and hope you go and have a fantastic experience like I did. read more

Nice place to grab a drink and hang out. Live entertainment, which is great. The live entertainment, however, is kind of tucked into a corner, and the way the place is laid out, it doesn't seem like it can have much of an audience. Only coming here for drinks I cannot rate the food, but the service was great for our large group. read more

Ever since I was a teenager I've had this yellow Hog's Breath Saloon t-shirt that I thought was very funny..."Hog's breath is better than no breath at all." I've cherished it and kept it in good condition. It never dawned on me that I could actually visit this mythical place in real life. So I just forgot about it. For 45 years. And then this year we thought why not go someplace warm during the winter for a vacation? I hear the Keys are nice, let's go there. So we do our research on things to do, places to go, hotels to stay at and I discover there's a Hog's Breath Saloon in Key West!!! What??? You mean I can go there? Yes, Virginia, there IS a Santa Claus! And he's at the Hog's Breath Saloon in Key West, Florida. This became a pilgrimage for me. When we drove onto the island I suggested we stop here and there before we hit the bar, and my boyfriend was like "NO. We are going straight to the saloon. We are not taking any chances of getting sidetracked and missing this." We get closer and closer to it and we're in this kind of parking lot and I'm looking all around for it and...where is it? Is it this building with almost no signage that looks like a garage in a parking lot? We walk around the building and finally find a sign and realize that we're in the right place! So it's even better than I imagined. I'd seen the live cams of the interior so I kind of knew what that would look like, but I didn't think it would be a total dive bar. And I'm so glad it is! I love it there. If I ever became a bartender, that's where I would want to work. We had two beers and soaked up the atmosphere, and talked to some nice tourists. We didn't sample the food so I don't know what the vegan options are, if there are any, but the tourists we spoke to said their food was really good, even though what they ordered was not vegan. I spent a long time in the gift shop trying to decide on what to buy and noticed they don't have the yellow shirt that I have from the 70's, which makes it unique and worth about $50 today (plus mine is from the original location in Fort Walton Beach). So I got a red one instead, and my boyfriend bought me a black jacket. I purchased their seasoned salt as a gift for my brother for watching our house while we were gone. He loves salt. I don't think I'll ever go back to the Keys (I go to one place, see the heck out of it and then have no need to ever go back) but man, this is one place I'd consider going back to just to hang out and die there. The next morning I tuned into the live cams to see what was happening and saw a chicken resting on the stage! Such a cool place even the chickens want to stay all night. read more

The hogs breast saloon is a great little bar in Key West. they have live music most every day. They have a full bar and traditional bar, food nachos, wings, and a mahi-mahi with tortilla chips. They have a handful of specialty cocktails. I tried the key lime cocktail. It was very good. Very tangy. There's parking outside that you would have to pay for there. There's a couple of different bars. They also have merchandise that you can buy. If you're interested, there's a live cam that plays every day but it's definitely a must try if you're in Key West. read more

We stopped by Hog Breath a few times while staying in the Keys. Just about everytme we walked by this place they had live music, so we couldn't help but pop in each visit downtown. Our last night in the Keys was on a Tuesday. It was getting late and we had to be up early. As we were heading back to our ride I could hear the band playing Jerry Garcia Band, so we had to stop by before closing out our night. It wasn't too packed but still busy for a Tuesday. We grabbed a seat at the bar and hung out until the band finished their set. Drinks are very reasonable here, $5 well whiskeys were great and the bartender was friendly enough. The far as much larger than you would expect I'm looking at it from the outside. Hogs Breath is pretty much a dive bar so don't expect it to be super clean in here The drink coasters on the bar were stuck to the table from previous guests and there is a lot of stickiness going on so watch out for that. They have a nice gift shop available if you're looking for a souvenir. All in all, it's a great spot to see live music drink on the cheap, and party while you're in the Keys. I highly recommend stopping and if you're in town. read more

This restaurant bar is located at the far end of the Duval strip in Key West. If you are looking for hamburgers or a variety of chicken wings this is the place to go. They sometimes have a one man band playing classic music at the front next to the full liquor patio bar. They also have a secondary bar in the restaurant. No frills here on the decor, its strictly an original Key West theme. They have a large apparel store attached to the restaurant. Tourist prices for most items - but most customers here are tourists. Plenty of stores and bars nearby. Great location here. read more

This is a true dive bar in the best sense--dark, loud, unapologetically weird, and absolutely unforgettable. The drinks flow, the stories blur, and at some point you realize you're no longer entirely sure how you ended up where you are... but you're fine with it. Now. The ladies' room. If you know, you know. Let's just say there was a handsome fellow, a conch shell, and an air of mystery that felt very on-brand for Key West. Details are intentionally vague--some things are better left unexplained--but whatever was happening worked. Worked very well. My nieces? They fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Completely enchanted. Equal parts confused and delighted. A core memory was made, whether they asked for it or not. Shirt Club is the kind of place where stories are born, logic is optional, and you leave with inside jokes you can't fully explain to anyone who wasn't there. It's chaotic, hilarious, and 100% Key West. Would we go back? Absolutely. Would we ever expect to understand everything that happens there? Not a chance -- and that's exactly the point.

Elbow to elbow, which says nothing other than you know this place will be good. My wife is especially cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs when it comes to anything Chesney and Blue Chair rums! You had us at Kenny Chesney Island Girl, and we just had to find a spot and enjoy. And we Most certainly did! It was sublime and refreshing. I was even able to walk out with a souvenir Rum Bar hat (purple). Without a doubt, we will be back and we're telling all of our familia and friends of this place! The gentleman next to us came in and ordered a rum flight. The bartender was able to direct him to some options that fit what he was looking for. It is a great ambience with drinks for any type of rum drinker.

Of course it is an attraction because it is supposedly the original Sloppy Joes where Ernest Hemingway hung out. It is dark inside with low ceilings. People have hung paper currency all over and you will also see lots of bras hanging from the ceiling. There is live music and lots of people watching. We enjoyed our drinks and the fun atmosphere.
