What a cute little spot! We heard about the mermaid margarita so we stopped for that and it was delicious! Very refreshing on the hot day. Inside there are several rooms, all adorable. The outside area is cute too but had no shade at the time of day we were there so that wasn't happening for us. The bartender was very friendly and welcoming. Added bonus- they have a little dog bar with treats and toys for your pup! read more

Never again. The bartender was more interested in hitting on a guy than acknowledging us. Her energy was heavy and clearly annoyed we were interrupting. Once we patiently waited for her to finish flirting and trying to make plans (guy trying to leave as it was that obvious ) she finally asked if we wanted something (umm are you kidding?) we had one shot because we really wanted to give this place a try but after the shot we left . Bad service, whatever shots, and just not the vibe. read more

I went to visit Shots and Giggles with family while visiting Key West. The bartender greeted us upon entry and she was very welcoming and helpful with figuring out beer choices. Stopped by Shots and Giggles for a quick drink and had a good time. The vibe was fun and friendly, with everyone doing shots and chasers. Bartenders were attentive and made it easy to enjoy the moment. It wasn't as crowded as the bars on Duval, which was a nice change. Solid spot for a quick stop and some laughs. read more

Absolutely love this place. Small and quaint with awesome service. No food servitude a heavy pourer with the Jameson. They have two tables outside where you can sit, chill, and smoke. Really cool place to just do nothing but drink and talk. read more

One of the best 'locals', 'off the path' places in Key West. I make sure to stop here every time I'm in the lower Keys. Always a great time and excellent conversations can be had with everyone in this place. Prices are very good considering the 'tourist fee' in the other Sloppy Joes & Irish Kevin's establishments. Come by this very cozy and very cool local watering hole and be ready to share some wild stories!! read more

This is a great little bar with a bit of town and ghost history! It was our last stop on our ghost pub crawl and my Girlfriend and I really enjoyed it. We were told by a local passing by it's the best local bar in town. There are games to play, which we did while enjoying our drinks and there is also plenty of space to sit and relax with friends. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was also not overcrowded with tourists, even at 10ish pm! I recommend stopping in for a beverage. read more

Danielle is a major reason to check out this tiny Key West gem. A rock star bartender, she serves up delicious cocktails with a magical flare. Bars like Shots and Giggles often succeed on the quality of their bartenders, and this oasis of fun certainly has the right captain behind the bar. Shots and Giggles is the perfect spot for a more intimate, friendly Key West experience. I stopped in here to take a break from Hemingway Days and the chaos of the Running of the Bulls to find Danielle wearing the traditional Pamplona garb with a Hemingway daiquiri in hand..Sold, Papa, sold.. Last night, July 17, 2021 a friend and I decided to stop by this establishment. It has a small inside probably seats about 15-20 people maybe less, but they have a nice walk up window outside. The inside was full and we were uncomfortable going inside to order. We opted for the walk up window instead. I ordered two cocktails, a Jack and Coke, the house Mermaid Lemonade, and two shots of Milagros tequila, chilled. We received our drinks and decided to sit on the pouch. Taking our shots we were surprised to find, they tasted extremely watered down. We moved on to our cocktails, and they too were extremely watery. So we left, and decided to perform an experiment. We went to a liquor store, bought a bottle of tequila and took shots to confirm the fact to ourselves that our shots were in fact watered down. The results came in, and yes we had been sold water with a splash of tequila. read more

This place was more of a local place and was hard to find a seat to sit down at. The mermaid water was a shot but not worth the stop for me next time. Went to the World's Smallest Bar down the road and had a lot of fun there and the bartender was great there. read more

Exploring Key West and we wanted to enjoy a local pub. We decided to stop in at this low key bar. We asked the bartender if she knew how to make a martini, and she said "Yes, I know how." We received something that we had no idea what it was. We are all human and I understand that. That is fine. My partner walked up and asked for a different drink. This took all he had because he felt like a Karen. She eventually remade our drinks with distain. Mine was fine, but my partner had no idea what his was. We just decided we would move on after that drink. No big deal. They had a beautiful golden retriever, "Shop dog." Where we were sitting, they had dog treats. Hence, with common sense, I opened it up and was about to give the dog a treat. Apparently, the owner of the dog, was the owner of the bar. He came up to me and said "Did you ask permission?". Let me remind you, that these treats were readily available to the public. If you do not want someone giving your dog dog treats, hide them. Common sense. This is a very unfriendly bar where they really truly do not appreciate tourists, nor patrons who enjoy quality cocktails. I'm easy to please, however, I've never seen anything like this. read more

Hands down my favorite dive bar in Key West. Danielle is such a fantastic and nice bartender and she takes care of the place all on her own! It's one of two bars I always visit when I come to Key West It's a small place with a single bar, a small high top table, a couch/living room type area, and a bathroom. Shots and Giggles is a tiny bar w/a lot of personality. It's hidden around the corner (look for the sign), but it's close to one of the popular pick up spots for hotel shuttles. We took the shuttle to and from the Marriott Key West Beachside Hotel. You would THINK Shots and Giggles is a tourist trap, but it really isn't. We saw only semi-locals (people working in Key West for an extended period of time, contractors, etc.) all three nights we visited. Bartender was friendly and quick. Plenty of seating inside and the bar was very clean. They have an excellent assortment of creative drinks. I have a sweet tooth so I fell in love with the Strawberry Shortcake drink. Don't worry they also have beer and normal mixed drinks. If you are walking around Key West I highly recommend stopping in for at least ONE of their creative drinks. Great drinks, good prices, clean location, and nice bartender. What else do you need while on vacation in Key West?!? Ok, you need food. They do not serve food here, but I promise there is food close. Next time I'm in Key West I will visit here again! read more

Ashlee is unprofessional. Only people in the bar were her friends and my group. She kicked us out for making a comment that the one bathroom sucked because there was piss all over the toilet seat. We were her only paying customers at the time, as we were leaving she was fighting with her regulars, her "friends" about how much they owed her. Used to make a trip to shots and giggles on all of my key west trips. Not again. read more

This place was instantly a hit before we even walked through the door! We saw the sign (see picture) for Jameson soup and loved the humor of it. The bartender was kind and gave us pub mix, and was very prompt with our drinks. Great happy hour prices and eccentric ambiance. Love that this place is tailored toward women! Right off Duval and up the road from Sloppy Joe's and tucked beside Tattoos and Scars is this hidden little cozy gem. Not much of a shot girl myself, the bartender was so friendly my friend and I were actually convinced that while in "Shots"....Great Lemon Drops!!! This is such an amazing bar! You want games? They got em! You want a couch? They got one! And some comfy chairs! They have literally everything you want. And they even sometimes provide food for popular sports games! Not to mention one of the BEST BARTENDERS IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED, MELISSA. Blonde hair and lots of tatts! What a nice place! The specials for each day were great! I got the rosé ale on tap (for 20% off all micro brews on Mondays!). So good, and I'm a picky beer drinker! The bar tender was so sweet. I love that the bar was tailored to a more female crowd, instead of a male-centered bar. It was bright, there is lots of seating, and a great ambiance. Dropped in for a quick shot and tried the mermaid water. Loved the cocktail and the atmosphere. My husband had an Abita Amber and says they have a great beer selection.. I think it was someone's birthday. Cute doggie hanging out there too. Laid back vibe. Everyone was super friendly to these two "not locals" in a locals bar. If we lived here though, we would be regulars. Did I say I loved the Mermaid Water? The buzz kinda sneaks up on you but so light and refreshing. Highly recommended! read more

Shots and Giggles is a local's favorite bar in Key West, FL. Nestled next to Tattoos & Scars Saloon right off of Greene St., Shots and Giggles is known for its relaxed atmosphere, cold drinks, and always having the game on any of their 5 TVs. Owners Steve Kibbe and Hannia Rivera mixed their love of hospitality and sports back in 2011 when they opened Shots and Giggles. The two have been based in Key West for over 18 years, enjoying the sunshine and small town feel. As lifelong restauranteurs and bar managers, Steve and Hannia are fortunate to have realized their dream of owning this little piece of hidden paradise. Steve immigrated to the Conch Republic from San Francisco, California. Don't be fooled, however, you'll often see him around town in an Eagles' jersey. Meanwhile, Hannia is a diehard Redskins fan from Annapolis, Maryland. She's often spotted sporting an "I hate Dallas" t-shirt around town. First off, nothing says tropics like Rum! The name is all that needs to be said. Nothing more... nothing less. It's a small and it was packed. Elbow to elbow, which says nothing other than you know this place will be good. My wife is especially cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs when it comes to anything Chesney and Blue Chair rums! You had us at Kenny Chesney Island Girl, and we just had to find a spot and enjoy. And we Most certainly did! It was sublime and refreshing. I was even able to walk out with a souvenir Rum Bar hat (purple). Without a doubt, we will be back and we're telling all of our familia and friends of this place! There wasn't a seat to be hand in the place but we were able to snag an open spot at the bar for one round (very lucky!). The bartender was very inviting and she was FAST with the beers! There was live music on stage, which sounded really good, and the overall vibe of the place was chill (despite the packed house). I could see why people flock here, it's a solid hang out.

They have doors open on the sides which keeps it feeling fresh and not like you are inside. The servers are fast even when busy. The bartenders make great cocktails. They have a nice retail/merchandise store towards the back of the bar/restaurant. Definitely make this a stop during your stay in Key West.

Of course it is an attraction because it is supposedly the original Sloppy Joes where Ernest Hemingway hung out. It is dark inside with low ceilings. People have hung paper currency all over and you will also see lots of bras hanging from the ceiling. There is live music and lots of people watching. We enjoyed our drinks and the fun atmosphere.

Both deserts we tried were out of the world delicious. The missionary crisp ice cream and flavor was 10/10, no notes to improve. They offer a *very* limited choice of cocktails, and couldn't even make a daiquiri for us. Bizarre. The bartender suggested we go to another bar with a better choice of cocktails, so we did.
