Island Salad with the biggest cucumbers ever

We have been coming here for two decades - we even had our rehearsal dinner here. Figured time for a review. This is a Key West staple. It is always fresh and delicious. Our favorites are the coconut shrimp and stuffed shrimp. All of the bartenders are great, but our all time favorite is Doug. He is always friendly and welcoming. Great location and chill music - a solid choice on the island.

We heard of this place and yes it was good my wife had the pasta and it was good and I had a burger and it was good just a but on the salty side but good. Service was good can't complain super busy at the time we ate but they treated us good though. A bit pricy though to be honest.

This is a fun and casual place to enjoy great seafood. My husband and I were sitting by the bar. The bartender is super friendly and efficient. He got our drinks right away. Mojito is ok, not too much alcohol, it has more of the syrup. Oysters and shrimps are fresh. The shrimps are quite big and well seasoned. Conch fritters are not greasy and comes with good dipping sauce. Tropical salad comes with good amount of chopped mangoes. I also enjoyed my crab cakes.

Stumbled on this place after leaving Mallory Square. Beautiful marina/water views. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We were sat quickly even though the place was packed. It's outdoor, covered dining. It was a hot day but they have fans and AC. It was comfortable. Definitely a come back to place.

St Kitts Pasta - I know this what made me sick. It tasted funny.

Ate here last night. The spinach salad was good but the St Kitts Pasta was nasty. I ate as much as I could stand and the sun dried tomatoes was the absolute worst part besides whatever was stuffed in the tortellini.. Four or so hours later I was on the hotel floor bathroom throwing up. Then having the . I don't recommend this dish.

    Stuffed Mushrooms Martinique

Cool location. Lots of outdoor seating with views of the water. Service was OK at first but after we said we were there for a drink and one appetizer it became distant and curt. The Key Lime mojito was very sweet. The Stuffed Mushroom Martinique was overpriced. $17 for 3 mushrooms. They were tasty but the weird sauce on the side was not good.

    Blackened mahi mahi burger

Back again for the seafood and today they had swordfish their fresh catch. Though good, the mahi mahi was the star of the show. I had to drop my review down due to our inattentive server. I had to ask twice for water, she left us hanging after we asked for the check, and my order was not right (please see swordfish pics) in comparison to the mahi mahi burger. Both myself and my hubby ordered blackened dishes (mahi mahi, shrimp and swordfish) but mine looked grilled not blackened and when I questioned the server she told me it was blackened (false!) my husband I both agreed it was not made as requested. That did bring down my review but not enough to warrant a no return.

    Key Lime Pina Colada

Amazing key lime pina colada! I love a pina colada and this once was next level. Pricey, but so good. Tried the conch fritters as well - I think I may be allergic though I'm not allergic to other shellfish... left feeling itchy and hives, but wa gone in an hour. Won't say the fritters were worth the reaction and happy to pass on those again... a little chewy and would have been happier with a regular hush puppy: Staff at the bar were just fantastic on Thanksgiving day - friendly, smiling and on top of everything!

Most importantly the food here is delicious, my wife tried the St Kitts pasta and it was very tasty and plentiful. It is enough for two, especially if you have appetizers like we did. We had the baked oysters and they were delicious except the cheese on top wasn't melted. We also had the stone crab claws since they were in season. My wife also had a skinny margarita which she said was watered down and she also tried the rum punch which was much better. For dinner I had the fried Red Snapper and it was also delicious and it also was plentiful. We both took our meals home and it was enough for breakfast the next morning. So our server Heather was really nice, she greeted us with a warm smile and she was very patient and helpful. So lastly that brings me to the rest of the staff and their customer service. I'm disabled and on a scooter and when I asked how to gain access to the building two employees said they didn't know, finally one server pointed me to the ramp. When inside I asked where was the host stand and another two employees just pointed which made me feel like I was bothering them. And the food runner basically threw our food at us. He didn't ask who had what, he just threw our plates at us and never asked who had what. The food is the most important reason to dine here so I would definitely eat here but be mindful of poor customer service.

Large waterfront restaurant with all open air seating (during nice weather) located on the Marina. Service wasn't bad, but the server wasn't very personable and didn't check back at all during the meal. Our meals were good however the veggies were cold.

Catch of the day mahi sandwich

Conch Republic is a popular hot spot in Key West. Waterfront dining, the entire restaurant is essentially a massive covered patio. They have plenty of fans cranking! Fresh seafood is the name of the game when you're down here. Here at Conch Republic, they have a big ole menu filled with fan favorites, specials, and the classics. One of my favorite things to eat when I'm back in Florida is a blackened mahi sandwich. Squeeze of citrus and tartar sauce. Usually served with fries, and washed down with a cold beer. Yuengling preferably! This hit the spot to a T. Our waiter was friendly and funny. The place gets really busy and they would have benefitted for a few more staffers on hand. And keep in mind, lots of birds will join you for your meal...what are you gonna do? Places like Conch Republic exist for a reason. It's like the quintessential Florida style dining experience people expect on vacation. Good vibes all around, would definitely return for some fried seafood!

Food was outstanding and hot! Service with Aaron D was stellar! He is so personable and has great recommendations! The restaurant has so much character and pizzazz. Try this place out. You will thank me!!

It's a dive bar through and through but I happen to be a big fan of dive bars! However, this one fell flat on it's face with the service. I wouldn't say the place was packed but there were not any open seats at the bar. I posted up the best I could but for the better part of 15 minutes both bartenders didn't even come to my side of the bar. I then moved to the other side and waited another 10 minutes to be served (at which point the bartender said "Didn't I just serve you?" Um, no, you most definitely did not. This place has two saving graces: 1) A water jug full of cold water for the taking, off in the corner. Love that. 2) A popcorn machine that had DELICIOUS popcorn! YES. If you can manage to get a beverage then I think you won't mind Green Parrot's (very) relaxed atmosphere and delightful little perks. My takeaway is for the staff to mix in some work to go along with their chatting with the regulars...
