We made reservations and really enjoyed the friendly service and good food. We recommend the Seafood boil. I really liked the show crab legs, with the Cajun sauce and "made it awesome" by adding corn, sausage and potatoes. My son enjoyed his Jambalaya

The conch fritters were so delicious. Crispy and lots of filling on the inside. Wish they just had more table with seating next to each other instead of just those high tops with one chair across the table.

I'm a gumbo fanatic. It's hard to find a perfectly made gumbo. Well Stinkin Crawfish on Duval St comes pretty darn close. It has crab meat and I think this brings it over the top! Go just for the gumbo. Nice casual atmosphere. Live music. Clean place. It's a nice addition to the plethora of Duval restaurants. Service is very friendly.

Crawfish and mussels seafood boil, garlic bread (or was that Texas toast) and ginger beer

My across the street neighbors up here in Michigan who used to live in Key West told me I had to go eat at the place Ernest Hemingway used to go or the other place that Ernest Hemingway used to go that claims they're more legit and the true original so... I went to a crawfish place instead. I had some pretty weak crawfish up in Ocala and had a hankering for the real deal, especially since Key West seemed like a mini-New Orleans only more Jimmy Buffettish. Stinkin Crawfish delivered some tasty mudbugs and I went for some mussels in my seafood boil as well. It really hit the spot though it might have tasted extra good just cause I was so famished from riding my rental bike around all the day. The garlic bread was a nice touch and I ordered a ginger beer to wash it down. Service was fine. I barely made it inside cause the patio on Duval street was the place to be. One of the fabled free range chickens of Key West was even hanging out, no doubt grateful for the plentiful seafood around. I can't give a ton of details like some of my other reviews as I'm writing this 9 months later but I remember liking this place.

Shrimp seafood boils, gumbo, garlic bread

Went here for dinner, and went back the next day for their happy hour as well. For dinner, we ordered the Cajun flavor Shrimp Seafood Boil with potatoes and corn, the Garlic Butter Shrimp seafood boil, and the Gumbo. The Cajun seasoning was very flavorful and delicious, and the shrimp were very big too. The garlic butter was good as well but not as special. The gumbo was very small and was overpriced for the amount of meat in it, would never order again. Dinner bill had automatic gratuity added. For happy hour, we got the $1 oysters, $1 chicken wings in Garlic Parmesan and Garlic Cajun, the conch fritters, and the mac n cheese. The $1 oysters were a great deal and good. And the $1 wings were amazing. The Garlic Cajun wings might've been some of the best wings I've ever had, amazing garlic flavor and crispy and tender. Conch fritters were the best I've ever had, much more conch than other places and great flavor. Service for dinner was slow but happy hour was very quick. Casual outdoor setting. Would come back for both the happy hour and dinner!

Food was amazing service was excellent and the ambiance was laughter light and merry! Everything about Duval street is a big party! I love the little town feel! So many shops and eateries. I didn't have enough time. I must go back to see more when I get time.

Food was good. The cheese was very cheesy. Waiters were stupendous. Vibe was off but there was live music so that's cool.

    Jambalaya, Hush puppies, Remoulade sauce
    Adrian S.

Wasn't a huge fan of the live music. I'm more of a introvert, so usually a calm, quiet place is my favorite to eat at. The service was really nice, but they could've been a little more attentive. The food was alright, I enjoyed the hush puppies but the jambalaya lacked flavor. They have a good remoulade sauce! Nice people watching but overall, not my cup of tea

Located right on the bustling Duval Street in Key West, this seafood place is a true treasure for anyone seeking cajun seafood! The restaurant has a lovely patio, complete with fans that provide a refreshing breeze. The drink selection is excellent, with a variety of refreshing options that perfectly complement the seafood dishes. The gumbo stood out as authentic with a rich, flavorful broth with just the right amount of spice to give it a nice kick. The conch fritters were another highlight they were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and absolutely delicious. With its great drinks, and delectable seafood, this place on Duval Street is a must visit. We enjoyed every moment and look forward to our next visit!

From the moment we entered the restaurant to the long after time of our departure, she continuously greeted us with excitement, joined us in conversation, and even helped us capture moments in pictures. She really helped make this a memorable experience for us. Now to the food. So I have had Broils in multiple areas of the country. From Maraylamd, Texas and to the Low Country of Charlestin SC, but I have never had as tasty of Broil as I just had at the Yummy Crab in Key West Florida. I mean this place was absolutely amazing! The flavor of every piece of crab, corn, crawfish, shrimp, sasauge and potatoes in the dripping wet cajun sauce served in a bag to retain all that juice, flavor and aroma was all nearly too much to contain. So glad of all the wonderful places on the island we had to eat we chose this place. Thank you Jackie for your outstanding hospitality and service. You are amazing!

I was also shocked with the price at $32 per pound for that shrimp. Seasoning was decent, but it really didn't taste fresh and felt frozen. Service was ok. Our server didn't check up on us too often. I always had to ask for a refill on my soda. Would I go back to this place, probably not. I can get a better seafood boil in Miami.

Food Blackfin is a beer and wine restaurant, so no cocktails. I'm not a big drinker, but I do enjoy when a place offers creative house cocktails. Since I'm not much of a wine or beer person either, I was initially a bit disappointed. That changed quickly when I saw they served Stiegl Grapefruit Radler. That alone felt like a small vacation in a glass. The menu offers plenty of choices to satisfy almost any palate. We weren't especially hungry, so we opted for a lighter approach: * Grilled Octopus * Tempura Green Beans * Spinach and Goat Cheese Salad Everything we ordered was very good. The salad was fresh and thoughtfully balanced, with bacon, goat cheese, apple, and honey bringing layers of flavor. It was served with a crusty baguette. We don't normally eat bread, but this was a welcome addition. The grilled octopus was tender, flavorful, and served hot. Always a good sign. The tempura items were nicely executed, lightly battered and not greasy. The green beans were crisp with delicate seasoning, served alongside a balsamic glaze dipping sauce that complemented without overpowering. Service Service was attentive throughout the evening. We never felt forgotten, and we never felt rushed. The pacing was natural and relaxed. Thank you, Gabor. Atmosphere The indoor dining area feels quiet and intimate. The outdoor patio in the back leans more casual. Surrounded by a tall fence and shaded by trees that form natural canopies, it offers a sense of privacy that can be hard to find in many of the more open-air restaurants along Duval Street. Even though this was a lighter, abbreviated meal for us, my sense is that Blackfin would be an excellent choice for a full dinner. We would definitely plan to return on our next visit to Key West.

Great service at this restaurant. On my most recent visit, the views weren't quite as picturesque because there was a large amount of sargassum (seaweed) along the shoreline. A skid steer was actively pushing it into piles, and the smell was unfortunately pretty strong. That's obviously a natural condition and not really the restaurant's fault, but it did take away from the overall waterfront experience that day. Thankfully, the food was still excellent. The conch fritters are a must-order, and the fish tacos were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and was served quickly. The restaurant offers all outdoor seating with views of the beach and the neighboring hotel's sandy beachfront, complete with lounge chairs and umbrellas, giving it a laid-back Key West vibe. There's also convenient off-street parking nearby, which is a nice bonus. If you're exploring the Southernmost Point and want a casual spot with good food and a relaxing atmosphere, Southernmost Beach Cafe is definitely worth a visit.
