Went here for dinner, and went back the next day for their happy hour as well. For dinner, we ordered the Cajun flavor Shrimp Seafood Boil with potatoes and corn, the Garlic Butter Shrimp seafood boil, and the Gumbo. The Cajun seasoning was very flavorful and delicious, and the shrimp were very big too. The garlic butter was good as well but not as special. The gumbo was very small and was overpriced for the amount of meat in it, would never order again. Dinner bill had automatic gratuity added. For happy hour, we got the $1 oysters, $1 chicken wings in Garlic Parmesan and Garlic Cajun, the conch fritters, and the mac n cheese. The $1 oysters were a great deal and good. And the $1 wings were amazing. The Garlic Cajun wings might've been some of the best wings I've ever had, amazing garlic flavor and crispy and tender. Conch fritters were the best I've ever had, much more conch than other places and great flavor. Service for dinner was slow but happy hour was very quick. Casual outdoor setting. We stopped off here on a meandering tour of local hotspots and lingered for the food, drink, and entertainment. Dallas Doctor happened to be jamming on the day we visited and is fantastic entertainment. He engages with the crowd and has an enormous repertoire of great music, main genre being rock. We ordered several shareable apps of Parmesan fries, calamari bites, and pink shrimp cocktail as well as cold beer. Food is delicious and service is great. Had a great time hanging out with friends for an hour or two before we took off for the next venue. read more

I'm a gumbo fanatic. It's hard to find a perfectly made gumbo. Well Stinkin Crawfish on Duval St comes pretty darn close. It has crab meat and I think this brings it over the top! My across the street neighbors up here in Michigan who used to live in Key West told me I had to go eat at the place Ernest Hemingway used to go or the other place that Ernest Hemingway used to go that claims they're more legit and the true original so... I went to a crawfish place instead. I had some pretty weak crawfish up in Ocala and had a hankering for the real deal, especially since Key West seemed like a mini-New Orleans only more Jimmy Buffettish. Stinkin Crawfish delivered some tasty mudbugs and I went for some mussels in my seafood boil as well. It really hit the spot though it might have tasted extra good just cause I was so famished from riding my rental bike around all the day. The garlic bread was a nice touch and I ordered a ginger beer to wash it down. Service was fine. I barely made it inside cause the patio on Duval street was the place to be. One of the fabled free range chickens of Key West was even hanging out, no doubt grateful for the plentiful seafood around. It was so good at lunch we came back for dinner. Linda our waitress was amazing. Group of 6 and we ate 10 doz oysters and several orders of the best wings I have eaten in a while. Beer and other drinks were cold and plentiful. Live music later was perfect. The bartender allowed us to change the tv to watch our Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball team. Wasn't a huge fan of the live music. I'm more of a introvert, so usually a calm, quiet place is my favorite to eat at. The service was really nice, but they could've been a little more attentive. Our favorite place to grab a bite and a drink. We usually stop by for Happy Hour so I can get some $1 oysters and wings, wings are small but cooked perfectly. Service had always been fairly fast depending when you go, but we've never had terrible service. If you enjoy eating on the patio and people watching, this is the place. If Dallas Doctor is playing, then it's a must stop. This guy is awesome on the guitar and is so full of music trivia. He doesn't play requests, but has a preplanned playlist he plays from, stop in and show him some love by dropping a few dollars in his bucket. read more

Stopped in for the $1 oyster specials. First time we came here they were out of the oysters so we knew we'd have to come back. Was pleasantly surprised to see that most of their waitresses and waiters are from Cordoba, Argentina. I picked up on their accent right away, being Argentine as well we had some good conversation. Located on Duval. The restaurant is a little dated and in need of an update if you visit the back side of the restaurant. The front of the house is ok. They could use new seating and tables. The food was pretty good. The Mac & cheese was average. The alligator app was a bit tough and over cooked. I am shocked that this place became our #1 spot on our recent trip. Not a fan of Seafood Boil places so we avoided that. We went for the $1 oyster Happy Hour from Noon til 6pm (yes it's 6hrs). We first tried Pepe's Seafood, which gets good reviews for their oyster happy hour but their oysters are small and flat. Not so good. This place serves proper Gulf Oysters. Fat, plump, delicious and only $1 during their 6hr Happy Hour. Conch fritters were great. Drinks are very good. This is a small restaurant on Duval Street. The food is good and so is the service. The lobster bits were tasty. This is a small starter but enough to share with one other person. The fries were good. The highlight of the meal was the seafood medley. It was cooked to perfection and had a nice hint of spice. If you are visiting Key West you should add this place to you list of places to eat. They have plenty of out during or seating but they also have a little bit indoor with AC. First off I would like to say our server was not directly the issue. When we got there it took 20 minutes to get waters and asked for drinks. We ordered a starter of Mac and cheese that was maybe enough for 1 person. We get to order our food (craw fish boil) and finally 1 hour later we see our food getting sent to someone else's table, our consolation was taking their food and the rest of the add ins we ordered coming later. So the group that got our food got $15 in add ins while we got ours barely cooked on the side and waited and extra 20 mins. They offered more crawfish to make it right which at that point it was too late. All I can say is proceed with caution. read more

Absolutely nothing stinking about this restaurant! Everything is exceptionally good especially the Cajun cooking, service and entertainment. My wife and I spent 3.5 hours recently enjoying good food and music by Dallas Doctor! Dallas took us through a journey of my youth playing the Beatles, Peter Frampton and other rock groups from the 70's and 80's using seven guitars. Traffic stops on Duval, windows roll down and people get out of their cars to listen to this talented musician. He packs this out door restaurant up, so get there at 11:30am if you want to enjoy a 3.5 hour show with no breaks. This was the best entertainment and most fun of our trip! read more

Excellent perfectly steamed crab and shrimp! Wonderful meal and service! This is one of the best restaurants in Key West, hands down. Our party of four had the crab legs, steamed shrimp and I had the Cajun shrimp pasta which was excellent, and had great flavor. This was the first place we decided on for dinner our first night in Key West. It was busy but we were able to get seated quickly. We tried the conch fritters for the first time, and they were great. We tried the calamari and it was seasoned so deliciously. It has a Cajun kick. We then tried the oysters, they were fabulous and fresh. We were very happy with the freshness and flavors of the food at this restaurant. We visited a second time for happy hour and prices were great and the cocktails are delicious.
