    The bourbon huckleberry
    Reggie S.

Got the fish bites, the conch fritters, truffle fries and a huckleberry bourbon drink. All the food smoking hot, had to take a beat to eat it. Very tasty. That drink, I should've got 2 more to go!! Good service too

Not great food at all. Frozen food just heated up. Place was empty and now I know why. Staff was friendly. Came for happy hour. 1/2 price apps. Glad it wasn't full price. Buff chicken fingers flat and no chicken. Pretzels were got but not good. Will not come back.

    Platter.

Concession, frozen BBQ food. Food is not good. Service was amazing. Eric was a great server and host was friendly. Unfortunately thats where the good ran out. By far some of the worst chicken I ever had. Which is surprising considering how you can get good chicken almost everywhere in key west. The condiments were all packaged. House BBQ sauce was not good, whoever decided that for the house sauce should be fired. The ranch is the funniest part; heinz branded with paprika on top to make it look homemade. The ribs are frozen and tossed in the oven. The brisket is some of the worst brisket I ever ate. Highly recommend the patio but grabbing a drink and leaving. Unfortunate for the employees because hopefully they won't be in business much longer. The owners gameplan must have been buy the cheapest food and charge the most the average person would pay. $50 for frozen BBQ plate (at moderate portions) is highway robbery. Stay away! I can eat almost anything but could not even stomach to get this down. We did eat all the Kraft Mac and cheese though! Tasted just like my middle school used to make!

Delicious pulled pork sandwich! Upstairs, deck seating. Attentive staff. The best we've had on Duval street. Will be back!

Opened for only a week, the food and service was excellent. Highly recommend the BBQ. Large portions and a nice selection of side dishes.

The…read morelocation is hard to beat, with beautiful waterfront views and the newly improved Southernmost Point monument now located right next to the restaurant, making it a convenient stop after sightseeing. Great service at this restaurant. On my most recent visit, the views weren't quite as picturesque because there was a large amount of sargassum (seaweed) along the shoreline. A skid steer was actively pushing it into piles, and the smell was unfortunately pretty strong. That's obviously a natural condition and not really the restaurant's fault, but it did take away from the overall waterfront experience that day. Thankfully, the food was still excellent. The conch fritters are a must-order, and the fish tacos were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and was served quickly. The restaurant offers all outdoor seating with views of the beach and the neighboring hotel's sandy beachfront, complete with lounge chairs and umbrellas, giving it a laid-back Key West vibe. There's also convenient off-street parking nearby, which is a nice bonus. If you're exploring the Southernmost Point and want a casual spot with good food and a relaxing atmosphere, Southernmost Beach Cafe is definitely worth a visit. Hopefully, you'll catch it on a day when the water is clear and free of sargassum so you can fully enjoy the views.

I've had dessert in the desert near Area 51, And underground in Antarctica, far from the sun. I've had it in graveyards, beneath moonlight so fair, And even in a dessert restaurant, yes, I've had dessert there! At Better Than Sex, the Fever was mine, And it tasted so splendid, so luscious, divine. I tried one of their special coffees as well, And it was so delicious, I nearly swooned under its spell. But the night's grandest moment, the finest display, Was when our waiter arrived with the desserts on a tray. He looked straight in my eyes as he named each delight, With a confidence both curious and wonderfully bright. My dessert was a huge phallus, impressive and grand, With two giant balls resting beneath it in hand. It was covered in "splooge sauce," a curious sweet stream, A dessert of such drama it belonged in a dream! I truly enjoyed this place and would gladly return If I lived nearby, where the sweet candles burn. They are masters of dessert, of flavor and flair-- A deliciously mischievous treasure tucked away there.

An extremely unique ambience and decoration. But it's not too much or too little. The seating is comfortable and private. Our server was very nice, he checked in at all the right times and was sweet. We only ordered one dessert and it got there promptly. Everything on the menu looked excellent and delicious. We settled on the cookie nookie cake, it was super fresh with many contrasting flavors that made every bite a pleasure. Overall had an amazing time and recommend this place for anything from a late night dessert or a full dessert meal. If we're ever around again, we are definitely going back and trying a lot more than just one dessert.

The prices were friendly, the atmosphere was fun, and the combination of cold drinks and spicy food gave me enough courage to face whatever horrors waited outside. Unfortunately, after ordering my second beer, the lights began flickering and a mysterious voice whispered, "One more round." I assumed it was a ghost until I realized it was just someone at the bar making a recommendation. Then the salsa started moving on its own. I bravely consumed it anyway. By the end of the night, I had defeated the haunted salsa, secured another inexpensive beer, and escaped with my soul mostly intact. Mary Ellen's is a great stop for cheap drinks, Mexican food, and the possibility of being spiritually possessed by a particularly aggressive jalapeño. Five stars, though I recommend keeping an eye on the chips.
