Pad woo sen
Jessica H.

It looked packed but we got a table right away. Super fast service. The waiter had lots of helpful info. My friend got the khao soi curry and he really loved it. I got the gluten free pad woon sen and it was pretty good- I'd get it without the onions because they're huge chunks that aren't cooked enough to have removed that biting raw flavor. The noodles and sauce were really good though.

My second time to Wild Rose and it was great! We went mid afternoon so no wait time. The restaurant is very cute inside with lots of tables. The beef skewers were delicious and tender. The green curry was also great and a huge portion! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Wild Rose Northern Thai is such a standout restaurant. They offer lots of vegan options, which is a huge win, and everything I've tried has been packed with flavor. The food tastes fresh, vibrant and thoughtfully prepared. It's the kind of place where you finish your meal already thinking about what you want to try next time. The decor is lovely and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It feels special without being over the top. The service is also consistently great, with staff who are friendly and attentive.

You know that first meal you eat after you've been camping for days and you emerge from the woods into civilization and wander into an actual restaurant? That meal is usually delicious amiright? Wild Rose was OFF THE HOOK!!! Like I'm so excited to return to Bend just to go here! It was lively and hopping when we came in for lunch, but we were seated and served in no time! I loved the roses, and was so interested in the mural that explained the geographical differences that made the flavors and dishes so incredible! Highly highly highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!

Khao Soi Curry

had lunch with some friends here & the staff was very kind & the food was delicious!! definitely one of the best thai iced teas i've ever had!!

Khao Soi Curry (left), Khao Gai Tod (right), Thai Sunrise (drink)

Wait time was about 1.5 hours on a Saturday night. It took some time to get a server once seated but was quick after that. We ordered the Khao Gai Tod and the Khao Soi Curry. The Khao Gai Tod was decent at best, the sauce saved the dish but overall meat felt dry and I wouldn't order the dish again. The Khao Soi Curry was delicious, but is definitely a heavy dish so you'd want to share it, or make sure to have a rice dish to supplement. I also got a Thai Sunrise drink which was delicious but did not have much alcohol, more of a refreshing treat. Ambiance is great and interior is pretty. Only thing is, at night there's a club downstairs which causes a loud bass background.

Holy Eggplant with fried tofu.

Seemed like a good spot to have lunch. The ambiance was pretty nice and the menu was a little different than most thai places I've eaten. I ordered the Holy Eggplant with fried tofu.l and Thai Iced Tea. The flavor was pretty good, but i really wish the portion size was a little bigger. Also with a dish called Holy Eggplant, I would've expected more Eggplant. The Thai Iced tea was good. I sat at the bar and my server was friendly and service was pretty fast.

Yummy Thai food!!! I was in Antelope, OR and an overwhelming amount of people recommended Wild Rose for good Asian food. Service was great and fast. Food tasted SO good. Ambiance was good. I came for an early dinner so there weren't too many people

The food here is so fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is relaxing. The service is just okay, a little slow but the wonderful flavors of the food help to overlook the sorta bad service. For Thai food, I highly recommend trying this place.

Tom kha, pork ribs, fried chicken

Came in here for a late lunch. This spot is located in downtown across the Wells Fargo building. Ordered: Pork ribs 4/5 - texture of this was amazing. It was crispy and tender at the same time! The flavor was a bit plain so you definitely need the sauce. I personally prefered it with the sauce from the fried chicken dish. Khao Gai Tod - Fried chicken 3/5, chicken was okay. This dish is nothing to write home about. Rice had a great garlic fragrance. The sauce in this dish really made it a lot better. Grandfathers Tom kha soup 5/5. Come back for this forsure! One of the best tom kha's I've had. Also to note, we ordered level 4 spice out of 5 and it really wasn't terribly spicy in a good way. It had a slight kick but nothing overpowering. Thai tea 2/5 pretty watered down and sweet. you can skip this.

Moo Gratiem ($14) - Thai garlic pork

Wild Rose is always a pleasure. Fun atmosphere with lots of character and information about Northern Thailand where the dishes originate. I had the lunch special Moo Gratiem for $14 and felt satisfied for the price and quantity. Good was delivered quickly and the staff were very kind.

I love Thai food. I have eaten more than my fair share. And this place is my absolute favorite. It's a bit different than your typical Thai cuisine, which I happen to love. Technically it's Northern Thai flavors, and man. They nail it. They often are very busy, but I have always been pleased with the service. The space itself is also fun, very much on brand with the rose theme. If you're in town, give it a try!

Went to the weekday lunch special (ends at 2 pm). My gawd! Soooo good. The moment we walked in we were greeted by this amazing aroma- the kind that assures you the food is going to be authentic and delicious. Well the food surpassed our expectations. The Khao soi and the pad mamuang were mind blowing. My husband said best Thai he had eaten in a long time. I completely agree!!! Also food literally came out piping hot within 5 minutes. We were in and out in 25 minutes.

Don't know why this place has so many 5 star reviews. It's small and too noisy to have a conversation. The food was bland and tasteless.

I'm dying to find a place in Bend with quality ingredients for Thai. I'm strictly no CAFO meat, but love Thai occasionally. Does anybody know or can somebody ask where they source their meat and veg?

You must make a reservation at Langbaan PDX. It's very difficult to get a table but the ingredients are far superior to any Thai restaurant in Oregon. Wild Rose uses very unique spices and herbs that are in fact gathered In A tiny village outside… Read more

I love the style and music that is playing, our server was super nice and attentive, decided to try the Duck Bastilla and shared the Mushroom Toast. While we waited we had to try the flourless chocolate cake and Apple Cinnamon Cake, warmed up along side our cup of Joe. Ok so brace yourselves for this...the starter came out and was served to us by Chef Kamal and wasn't a disappointment on the eyes, crafted so delicately on the plate. The flaky filo was a golden hue and held a beautiful song inside of the most perfectly mix savory and sweet flavor, the duck was soft and tender, leaving you just wanted MORE!! I was pleasantly impressed with the way the dish was put together, each piece like a puzzle and this was just the starter. The mushroom toast arrived and she was the Belle of the Ball at our table, the side salad is a nice refreshing addition, but this crafted piece of art was stacked and piping hot, atop was a perfectly poached egg. Street Side Comfort Food Done Right at Zydeco…read more On a cool night in Bend, my family made a last-minute decision to grab dinner at Zydeco Kitchen & Cocktails, and honestly it turned into one of our favorite meals of the trip. We were lucky enough to snag one of the last available tables, outside no less, but the overhead heaters kept the patio perfectly warm and cozy. Sitting street side watching people wander through downtown Bend while enjoying good food and cocktails gave the whole evening a relaxed and memorable vibe. One thing worth noting: make reservations if you can. Even on a cooler weekday evening this place was absolutely packed, and after eating there it was easy to understand why. The vibe walks a fine line between upscale and approachable. Busy without feeling chaotic, energetic without being loud, and the kind of place where you can just as easily have a family dinner as a date night. Great spot for couples, groups, or even grabbing a seat solo at the bar. Pricing felt right in line with the quality of food, cocktails, and overall experience. We started with cocktails, and it was immediately obvious the bar team knew what they were doing. The espresso martini was smooth and rich without being overly sweet, the Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned was balanced and spirit-forward, and the dirty martini had this savory umami quality that gave it a deep earthy finish that lingered in the best way. For appetizers, the BBQ shrimp over the southern grit cake absolutely delivered. Rich, buttery, smoky, and packed with flavor. The Village Baker bread with olive oil and the cane syrup butter topped with flaky smoked salt was another standout. Based on how quickly the plates were cleaned off the table, I would say both were a unanimous success. For dinner, I ordered the smoked pork chop and it was excellent. Thick cut, juicy, perfectly cooked, and paired with a bright salsa verde that cut through the richness perfectly. The dirty rice underneath carried a ton of flavor and rounded the dish out nicely. My daughter ordered the crispy half chicken and here's the pro tip: order it early because they do run out. We were told there were only a few left for the evening. The skin was beautifully crisp while the chicken stayed incredibly juicy, and the mashed potatoes and asparagus were simple but executed really well. My son-in-law went with the steak frites and was more than happy with the choice. The steak had a great crust, was cooked exactly to temperature, and the rogue smoky blue butter melted right into the meat giving every bite extra richness. The fries were thin, crispy, and impossible not to keep stealing off his plate. We also shared the cornbread with homemade butter and, as we say back home in Hawaii, it was "broke da mouth" good. Moist, slightly sweet, crispy around the edges, and dangerously easy to keep eating. What really stood out to me was the pacing of the meal and overall hospitality. Nothing felt rushed even with a full house. Drinks came out quickly, plates were timed well, and the staff genuinely seemed proud of the food they were serving. We especially enjoyed chatting with our waitress after finding out she had lived in Hawaii for six years. As visitors from Hawaii ourselves, it instantly gave the night a little unexpected "home away from home" feeling that made the experience even more memorable. Those little moments are what separate a good restaurant from one you genuinely remember after the trip is over. Zydeco delivered the kind of experience that makes you immediately start talking about when you can come back. Great food, thoughtful cocktails, strong hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Solid four-star experience and absolutely worth a stop if you are spending time in Bend.

I was served by a tall male bartender who was incredibly personable--we talked quite a bit, and honestly, I'd go back just for that experience alone.
