This place is so cute. Little cafe and bulk refillery. They have a small but mighty menu that includes vegan options, multiple drinks from coffee, tea, and other non alcoholic beverages. The place is spacious, nicely decorated inside and a lovely outdoor covered patio that is dog friendly. We ordered the powerhouse burritos and the vegan option with freshly brew coffee and everything tasted really good. The housemade salsas were also really good. This is a great local bulk grocer on the westside, across from Newport Market. Lots of bulk foods and household items as well as some cold case foods and ice cream. A couple little seating areas if you're hanging out. This is in an adorable, historic building that keeps changing hands but the new owners are friendly and helpful. Love that they're keeping it going and I hope they'll add things like organic produce and more food, like it used to be a couple years back. Visit it and help it thrive! read more

I loved my turmeric latte but I'm not sure what it was named! It's such a cute cafe that I took these photos on my film camera. I love that there are places to let your dog sit and wait outside while you order and lots of interesting things in the store. It's fun to shop around while you wait for your order. New, eco-friendly grocery store/café. Featuring fresh baked goods, tasty espresso drinks and a wide variety of products offered in bulk. You can use their containers, or bring your own and get them filled. things like spices, olive oil, shampoo, etc. A really nice and wide variety. A great zero waste concept. Plus they have reusable products like Melli-wrap. (Another local product). Conceptually I love the store, and hope that they are successful. I will certainly be patronizing them, but not sure as to how much volume I would actually be able to do with them. One huge plus is that the staff is amazing! The nicest, most gracious and knowledgeable group of people working here. They bake on site, and they're gluten-free salted Seahorse chocolate (local product) chunk cookies are not to be missed. They also sell the cookie dough at the store for you to bake at home. But I'm going to buy the actual baked cookie at their shop, so I get a chance to spend a little time with these great people. The staff wear masks, there is a separate entry and exit, they are doing their best to adhere to the Covid mandate. read more

We ordered a 12 oz coffee and 12 oz chai this morning 9:30 AM. The front cashier (tall person) gave a 8 oz chai cup which we kindly pointed out was 8 oz and not what we ordered + paid for. That request was received as annoyance and challenged. We then presented the receipt proving it and cashier reluctantly gave the correct 12 oz chai we ordered + paid for. The cashier didn't apologize and grabbed the 8 oz cup from our hand without asking for it. Love this place so much! It's the coffee shop of my dreams. The aesthetic is beautiful with bright pops of color everywhere. Their vegan breakfast burrito is so good! They have a vegan option and an eggs/cheese option. You can buy all the bulk goods you can possible need and they will use jars you bring from home. Their ice cream is also to die for. I've also had their ziggy stardust pop tart and coffee there. They also sell "pupsicles" which my dog loves. Go check it out!! Being somewhere that offers coffee... I wouldn't recommend this place. It's pretty expensive & seems like coffee is a secondary priority for their store. Their coffee drinks are amazing, and quite possibly of the better chai teas in town. I haven't tried their pastries, but it does smell delicious while waiting on line. However, it does seem like there is poor ventilation inside. If you have to wait longer than 5 minutes inside, I'd recommend stepping outside while you wait for your coffee. I spent 15 minutes in there and afterwards my clothes and mask smelled like I'd been cooking onions and garlic for hours in the kitchen. read more

I am usually a coffee person but after a playful conversation with the staff, I went with the Rose Chai Latte and was blown away by how tasty it was. I went back 3 more times to get it while I was in town and tried out some of their homemade pastries.
