junction has been my go-to coffee shop for years!…read more drink quality is 10/10 and consistent. the atmosphere is perfect, nicely decorated with music and good lighting. service is great, too! the baristas are kind, quick at making drinks, and will remember regulars. they also feature a local artist every month(?) i believe, and have cute tiny flower vases on each table. haven't found another cafe as good as them before, i'd recommend junction to everyone i know.

- We went at around 11:30 AM on a Monday and it was mostly empty (which was great for us!). Plenty…read moreof seating inside and outside. - Smiling, upbeat workers who seemed to enjoy working and engaging with guests. - The food was all great! We got a scone, empanadas, and a breakfast sandwich. The hot food was the perfect temperature and appeared freshly prepared. The scone was loved by my girlfriend although I would have liked more berries in it, but it was huge! We had enough to take home and enjoy later too. - I loved the fact that the syrups are locally made. I believe the shop makes some themselves while others are locally-sourced. That really elevated the experience and was a welcome surprise. - Nice atmosphere that wasn't too loud when we went. I enjoyed the fun, indie music that was playing (which is usual in coffee shops I suppose). - When we went, street parking was available but, again, it was Monday around 11:30 so not really a peak-time. - Appeared to really support local businesses and events. Had a bulliten board in the back with posters from various concerts and events happening around town. Feedback: - I forgot to take pictures of it myself, but posting updated pictures/listing their menu online would be helpful. We picked the place based on it's online reviews but would have preferred to know more about the menu before arriving to ensure there were things we could both eat. (Diet-wise and taste-preference.) - It can be harder to find because it's tucked back from the street a little but once we rounded the corner it was easy to spot.

I wanted to update my review solely based on the outreach of the Owner (I believe). They reached…read moreout and sent a very nice message regarding my experience, which I appreciate. When an Owner takes the time to actually read the reviews and genuinely respond that tells me that I most likely came in on a bad day. I typically try to give a place three chances, but since I don't live near the area I don't have that option. But I do appreciate a concerned and responsive Owner that clearly cares about their shop and their customers. So, thank you for that.

I came in here on a warm summer day, there was plenty of shade from the umbrellas outside at the…read moretables, because it was about midday. I went in, and initially didn't like the vibe. Too messy and scattered, even for a "kitschy" little coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised as I talked to the front counter ladies to get my drink figured out, as I was trying something new to me, and my first time here. They warmed right up, and made me THE MOST AMAZING!! Strawberry Banana Smoothie. I can't do dairy, so we skipped the yogurt? and the mix base powder. I had it made, at my request and their cordial obligement, with just oat milk, fruit and they added the ice I think. It had the most beautiful flavor, sweet and fruity. It tasted like it had dairy in it.. even though it didn't. It was THAT good!! It had the most delightful little crystals in it that weren't like ice, they crunched like protein powder. It was the most beautiful feeling. Best smoothie I have ever had!! My barista's name was Ellery, she was very polite, warm and personable. We all had a good chat, and a good laugh. I love the small town vibe here. And the cute little inside, warmed up to me as I milled around and looked at things while they made my drink. They have, to the right of the front counter, a self service area with a pay station. So if the line's busy, and backed up, you can just get your own stuff, that is, if you don't need an espresso. Super cool!! It works on the honor system. Such trust!! Love it; the old school way of doing things in a business. They also have the most beautiful gluten free cardamom muffins they make in-house, and they're HUGE!! I didn't have one, as they do have dairy in them. Unfortunately they don't have any vegan options other than a gluten free, vegan bar, and something else I don't recall. The outside seating has birds that visit in the bushes, and it's quite quiet from traffic, on a busy midday weekday, I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed my time here. And I believe you will too.
