I got a veggie bahn mi since I was going on a hike later I needed to grab n go. It had a very tasty sauce and was on a fresh baguette..but it could've been crispier. I also had a delicious chocolate cookie which happened to be vegan but I wouldn't have guessed it . It was deeelish! We ate outside on the small tables that line the sidewalk. Not much to write home about but was happy to score a table since this place has a constant stream of people.

This is their speciality, rolls up marionberry jam inside a croissant with a hazelnut butter glaze. Other items we ordered included the pistachio croissant, peanut butter brownie, Brie and fig jam baguette, jalepeno cheddar scone, and seasonal bread pudding. Everything was a chef's kiss! You can't go wrong here. Be prepared to drop a bag you won't regret. We spent at least $50 during each visit but we were satisfied with our selection. The blend was smooth, with more of an expected chocolate and nutty overtone, and the single origin (Ethiopia, I believe) was definitely more of a lighter, fruitier offering with higher acidity and a little less body, but making up for it with that fruity punch. The cafe itself was definitely kind of loud, being of the industrial, open design and a lot of customers, but it's a big enough space to be airy and didn't feel closed in. The roastery is in an adjacent room, and I got to watch them bagging some coffee as I drank mine. It was a good visit, definitely worth it if you're into espresso.
