I'm not sure if they bake these in house, but whoever bakes them deserves an award. These were some fantastic pastries. Their bagels are a standout. Crispy on the outside and really soft on on the inside. The Jalapeño cheddar bagel was amazing. I also loved their Pesto tomato danish, the orange cardamom muffin, and jalapeño cheddar scone. The scones were not dry at all and had such a good texture and flavor. Thump Coffee is great!

During each visit, we ordered coffee and at least two items to try a little bit of everyone. I loved that they were offering samples on both days that we went - one day was the Oregon roll and the other was their specialty bread pudding. I was sold on the Oregon Roll! This is their speciality, rolls up marionberry jam inside a croissant with a hazelnut butter glaze. Other items we ordered included the pistachio croissant, peanut butter brownie, Brie and fig jam baguette, jalepeno cheddar scone, and seasonal bread pudding. Everything was a chef's kiss! You can't go wrong here. Be prepared to drop a bag you won't regret. We spent at least $50 during each visit but we were satisfied with our selection. This thing was friggin bomb, I walked 45 minutes across Bend to get here and then probably drink that thing in 10 minutes before I ever made it back to my room. You really can't beat the ambience in downtown Bend, very pretty in a very cool place to walk around in. The outside seating area at this coffee shop blew my mind. You're on a grassy hill overlooking the river and on the other side of the river there's deer walking by.... Gonna say I might need to move here.
