    Bacon and veggie quiche

Nancy peas is one of my favorite pastry cookies and candy bakery in the Bend Oregon area. She also makes an array of breakfast and lunch food, including the some of the best quiche I've ever had. She's been in this location for quite a few years and I've always had a very warm welcome by her and her employees location is very homey feeling and kind of feels like you're in your grandma's kitchen wired enjoying your breakfast or lunch. I would definitely recommend going to this bakery while you're visiting Bend.

    Bagel

Worst an most expensive bagel I've had in all my life. I ordered it to-go, not sliced or toasted or with a spread and it was almost $5 The consistency was doughy and not well baked or prepared, too salty, and not really a bagel at all but a bad roll.

Cute little spot with lots of bakery & cafe options. Vanilla iced latte and frittata were mid. Chipotle chicken sandwich was fabulous and peanut butter fudge cookie bar I would also get again.

Came here twice during my week stay in Bend because it was so yummy! Great choice of fresh bakery items and quick service. I also loved the stained glass artwork throughout the cafe, and they are all for sale as well! Really loved this place, would recommend!

    Chai tea and brownie puddle

Really wanted a baked goodie when we were in town for the day and saw the good reviews for Nancy P's. Kind of has an older home vibe to it, saw they have a nice outdoor seating area too. At around 1 in the afternoon they still had lots of options for sweets or savories. I opted for the chocolate - I think it was called a brownie puddle? Well that's a very apt description of what it was, and they did pop it in the microwave briefly before handing it to me just to give it a little warmth. Also ordered a chai tea. Yum! Very decadent that puddle was. It was probably a bit big for me to have had on my own but I have no regrets! It hit the spot, brownie crispness with melted chocolately gooeyness. Perfect.

    Roast Beef w Provolone

The food choices are varied and very decent portions for price paid. We sat outside as it was a nice day. Very casual, low-key place to dine. The only drawback was that one of the staff members was rather abrupt with patrons. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or what the issue may have been. Having worked in various restaurants in my past, a bad attitude does bode well for tips or return business. I had the roast beef sandwich (half), and it was plenty. The focaccia texture and taste was very good. Perfect combo with for the roast beef.

This is the best bakery I've ever been to. I'm going again tomorrow! The selections are amazing and the people are sweet.

Who knew one could find Paris quality croissants in Bend, Oregon?…read more We were in town for our family reunion and two summers ago we held it at the Paris Olympics so our point of comparison is valid. Twice I went to M's to pick up a large assortment of pastries for our family of 21 and everything was outstanding and compared favorably to the best we had in France. We were staying at the Riverhouse Lodge and it was an easy 7 minute drive to get to the Old Mill location with plenty of parking. Both days no chocolate/almond croissant, which was sad. Standouts: - almond croissant 5/5 - chocolate croissant 5/5 - ham and cheese croissant 5/5 - gochujang twist 5*5 (so unique and so bummed they didn't have it the second day) - kouigh amman 5/5 - almond pecan sandie 5/5 Solid choices: - monkey bread 4/5 (a bit smaller than what I'm used to and more bready than pastry, no frosting as I'm more used to seeing) - milk bread 4/5 (solid offering) - blueberry scone 4/5 (a little bit too fruit forward so very messy to eat but still yummy) - blueberry buckwheat muffin 4/5 (also a bit too fruit forward so very messy to eat, but still yummy) We didn't try any of their breads but the selection looks great!

This week I stopped in at the Old Mill location itself for coffee and a couple pastries. - Cinnamon roll: comes drenched in sugar glaze (as is proper). Delicious. - Almond croissant: Tasty with good flakiness. There were a lot of other pastries available that I would definitely try. Coffee was decent, too.

They have breakfast and lunch and a solid kids menu. The pastry case looks great! I love that there are gluten free pastries and clearly marked menu items without gluten. I had the Benedict with carnitas on a gluten free bagel. The pork was delicious. The portion was generous. Lots of Hollandaise sauce. Crispy potatoes. All very good. I couldn't finish. My husband had the breakfast sandwich (not gf) and said the lemon aioli was great. It's out of the way if you are staying near downtown, but worth the drive.

We sat outside in the heated tent with our fur baby - they are dog- friendly. Food & Service are fantastic! Lives up to reputation for being best Brunch Spot in Bend. Hubby had classic Eggs Benedict that he said was very good. I started with a warm Chai and a Bobbin for Apples Mimosa which was magical. Having read the reviews I was prepared to order the stuffed croissant French toast. Last minute change of heart- I ordered the Gobbler, a roast turkey sandwich on a croissant with a flavor profile reminiscent of Thanksgiving. The sweetness of the fig jam played well with the poached pear, savory turkey and peppery arugula. Dessert will have to wait until our next visit. The pastry counter at the front of the restaurant displays cinnamon roles, scones, muffins and impressive cakes. There's even a marionberry and white chocolate bread pudding that would make a wonderful brunch choice.
