I got a veggie bahn mi since I was going on a hike later I needed to grab n go. It had a very tasty sauce and was on a fresh baguette..but it could've been crispier. I also had a delicious chocolate cookie which happened to be vegan but I wouldn't have guessed it . It was deeelish! We ate outside on the small tables that line the sidewalk. Not much to write home about but was happy to score a table since this place has a constant stream of people.

I loved that they were offering samples on both days that we went - one day was the Oregon roll and the other was their specialty bread pudding. I was sold on the Oregon Roll! This is their speciality, rolls up marionberry jam inside a croissant with a hazelnut butter glaze. Other items we ordered included the pistachio croissant, peanut butter brownie, Brie and fig jam baguette, jalepeno cheddar scone, and seasonal bread pudding. Everything was a chef's kiss! You can't go wrong here. Be prepared to drop a bag you won't regret. We spent at least $50 during each visit but we were satisfied with our selection. The cafe itself was definitely kind of loud, being of the industrial, open design and a lot of customers, but it's a big enough space to be airy and didn't feel closed in. The roastery is in an adjacent room, and I got to watch them bagging some coffee as I drank mine. It was a good visit, definitely worth it if you're into espresso.

What they should be doing is turning the heat down and baking longer. Every oven is different. Experiment until you get it perfect and then do not vary. The top should be golden.
