Waited at least 15 minutes just to receive cold food and poor service! First of all, they have the WORST and rudest people working the window and the manager ain't no better. Ordered a single Whataburger meal. The burger was icy cold like the soda and the fries were lukewarm, limp and empty. I was with someone else so I was going to eat the fries and they eat the burger but once I discovered how not fresh and empty the fries were, I returned them and wanted a refund. I was given 88 cents, as I was told that was how much fries cost. During the process of that is when we discovered the burger was cold as well so we ended up returning it all and getting a refund for everything. We went to Chick-fil-A instead where the service is top tier. Got hot food and didn't have to wait 15 minutes for it either. read more

The first time I ordered and waited a full hour only to request a refund (had to be somewhere). Today, in drive thru for at least 30 (still counting). Management is lacking here. Whataburger's drive-thru line is terrible. There were about 4 cars in front us, 2 moved, and we were second in line. Then we rolled down the windows to hear if the person in front of us was ordering, and it was silent. I ended up calling Whataburger to see if anyone would answer and nobody did. First time trying a Whataburger as we are here from out of town and there isn't one near us at home. I am giving them some grace, because I was grateful for it being Easter and finding something open. The service was friendly, but super slow. The overly nice man at the counter was a little too open about being called in and stressed about be being at work. I should have suggested he take a break from customers and do some cleaning. Maybe I caught them at a rough time, but the floors and countertops needed attention. The tables had all been cleaned, which was nice. Food was decent, but I recommend eating it quickly, as it's not nearly as good as it cools off. read more

18 minutes for a BEC biscuit! They had more employees than customers. They have also cut items off the menu for Summer, it's March 29th people! No gravy and biscuits. While waiting on my food, I stand where I can see the lack of action in the food prep area. One young lady leaned back on counter with her hair extensions draped onto counter, where food is to be put together. Several employees just standing around with no direction. Always great burgers. I usually order a sweet and spicy burger which is my favorite but this time I ordered a Whataburger Jr. Combo meal with fries and sweet tea. The sweet tea was good as always. The burger was meh, nothing special and not even close to the sweet and spicy burger patty. The sweet tea always hits the spot on these hot summer days. But I give 4 stars because it is always no less than a 30 minute wait for drive thru. This was at like 2:30 on a Thursday and still 30 minutes to get go thru drive thru. Don't ever eat here. We waited for an hour in drive through to get our order. They messed mine up so I went inside to fix it. They forgot about my order and I waited for 45 minutes for nothing. Manager did nothing and the employees had horrible attitudes and were not helpful. I asked for a refund and conveniently the manager wasn't gone and no one knew how to do it. Open 24/7, what else could you ask for. The drive thru was fast and efficient and we had zero issues with our orders the three times we ate here. Yes we ate here three nights in a row. They have breakfast after a certain time at night which was super convenient if someone didn't want a juicy burger. I always get the patty melt (come on, you cannot go wrong with a patty melt plus add their jalapeño ranch with fries) I also tried the sweet and spicy bacon burger. Get the sweet and spicy bacon burger, seriously over the patty melt. That was the best burger I have ever gotten from a Whataburger. Don't get food at this place literally after 7pm!! The amount of time you spend waiting in line for your order to even be taken is insane. You could be the only vehicle in line and it'll still take 3-5mins just for someone to answer you. Then once you order you'll be sitting at the window or in line for damn near 15-20mins minimum. Might as well shut your car off and save some gas, or even better just go somewhere else. I love whataburger but the Foley location is TERRIBLE! Love me some whataburger. This very nice location place does not disappoint. Spending some childhood in NC I remember my folks driving 30 minutes into Charlotte to get a Whataburger, and it was worth the trip back in the 70's. The choices are really right on, without gimmicks and too many things that are done wrong. The focus is burgers, although you can get a chicken sandwich the burger rules here. Whataburger is great for breakfast too!! Love me some early morning Whataburger!! Jalapeno biscuits & sandwiches, taquito, all the regular choices and hey try a honey dripped chicken sandwich plus the coffee is very good. Don't forget, mot only do they have a spicy ketchup (which is available in some grocery stores, and is a staple in my house) bit you need to try their spicy strawberry jam! Not just for lunch anymore!! They are generous with their condiments unlike places like Zaxby's that charge you for a single extra sauce of any kind. Nope they bring a tray of condiments to your table and offer you choices with a smile and I like that. The people are polite, professional and welcoming and that's so nice these days.
