This location offers consistently good service and product, I don't think I've ever been dissatisfied at this location other than wait times. But my most recent trip was during peak lunchtime and it's always busy during the summertime. One thing I can count on here is a good burger to go, burgers, and fries. Combos are always good to catch on the way down to our condo. The cheese really stands out and the patties are seasoned well. This last visit my fries were absolutely phenomenal. I couldn't keep my hands off of them during the drive down Highway 59. The staff here is always very welcoming and helpful. I don't love the standout order takers, cause you can't really see the menu. Also drivers will cut in front of other drivers that have been waiting, and it's kind of chaos. What can I say? Culvers is iconic in the midwest and beyond. I have never had a bad or even an average visit. Food is always correct and fresh. Burgers and curds are great, o rings and can't forget the awesome custard. Restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly ; esp impressive as they are mostly kids, don't see alot of that these days. Visited this location while on vacation. Ordering was fast and easy. Everyone was very friendly. Picking up the food in the drive thru was a bit hectic. The system doesn't seem very efficient. BUT the food was very good. We actually came back the next day to try more things. Everything we got was hot and fresh and tasted good. I give her 5 stars, but Britney, the manager, was so rude. She was very snappy and unprofessional. The way she spoke to that young lady was uncalled for. Culver's has always been my favorite. Clean, great service, good food. It seem's though that lately the service has been off a bit. Orders not complete and I rarely get napkins with my food. Our family has eaten at this location many times in the past without any quality issues and enjoy other locations. However, in the past several months, we haven't been to Foley. We could taste a notable difference in the overall quality of the meal. The chicken tenders contained cartilage which was inedible. The burgers were over salted and the cheese was not melted. We built our burgers custom and the order was keyed correctly, however, ingredients we specifically requested were to be eliminated were present. Additionally, charging $.30 for a slice that is an inch in width does not qualify as "tomato". Last, (3) kids meals and a value basket for $40 is excessive. read more

I had never been to a Culver's but my friend recommended we grab something from there. I was NOT disappointed. I ordered the fried cod platter with the addition of fried shrimp. It was ready for pickup on time and it was hot and really fresh! The portions were quite large. In fact I couldn't finish it but my friend ate his and gobbled up the rest of mine. I've always wanted to try out Culver's ever since I've heard about it back in 06 from a friend in MN. Finally Culver's arrives in Foley & was finally excited that I get to go and try out Culver's. I ordered myself a double cheeseburger with fries. I'm glad that I did because the patties are a bit thinner then Wendy's. But either way Culver's it's just really meant to enjoy their custard. I really do want to make another trip here to try it as I didn't get to try it out. The food still tasted good though came out quickly hot & fresh. I was happy with the service as they were quick to take my order as soon as I arrived. I saw this new place from the road. There was a line at the drive thru, so I decided to look it up online. Well, I jumped in line for Butterburger with cheese and a small Butterfinger concrete custard. The burgers are incredibly good. I was very surprised, I don't usually eat at chain restaurants but this one I'll be back to again and again. And don't sleep on that custard. I know right, not ice cream, custard. The cashew chicken salad was a huge disappointment. The description talks about mixed greens and the picture shows mixed greens but it was only iceberg lettuce. On my original visit a month ago, my grandmother ordered a Ruben with sauerkraut on the side. When I drove back to Daphne from Foley, it looked as if it had extra saurerkraut on the actual sandwich. I called the restaurant and spoke to a manager who apologized and told me whenever I came back, I get on on the house. This past Saturday, my grams wanted another one so I drove back to the restaurant to get her a Ruben and some other food. This time the sauerkraut was on the side, but it was drowning in the sauce which made it again not able to be eaten ‍. I give up. I also ordered a chocolate shake which was more like chocolate milk. This is quite the fancy kicked up several notches fast food joint. They offer some good burgers along with other sandwiches that include a cod filet, beef pot roast, Reuben, and chicken. They also offer some unique to the area sides such as Wisconsin Cheese Curds and they also make a decent chili you can get as a side. The star of the show is their really good frozen custard that has some really great flavor combinations. The only really big negative I can note is this is a Pepsi place and I despise Pepsi and remain a loyal Coke man BUT Culver's also offers their own brand of root beer that is really good along with some great iced tea to get around the Pepsi curse. Very sad that culver's now charges for condiments. They have amazing burgers and milkshakes, fries not that good, but now I will not return. The manager was very nice about it but When I am paying over 12 dollars for a burger and fries the condiment of my choice, BBQ sauce, should not cost extra. PLEASE let me know when you have changed this policy, until then there are other options just up the road that do not charge for BBQ sauce. read more

After reading an article on the best regional chain restaurants, we decided to go check out Culver's. It was even better than we'd hoped it would be! My hubs and I both ordered the double cheddar butter burgers with bacon. He opted for onion rings as his side and I had to try the chili cheese fries, and of course, we shared our sides. We also ordered fried cheese curds and a turtle sundae to share. The burgers were amazing! The patties are thin, but they definitely aren't fast food quality. The cheese was not cheap processed junk; it was real cheddar. They call them butter burgers because the buns are buttered and toasted. The onion rings were equally impressive and made with real onions, not chunky pieces of onion. The chili cheese fries were incredible as well. The chili was good and the cheese was creamy and they used the perfect amount of each, so the fries weren't soggy. The cheese curds were good. The turtle sundae, which happened to be the flavor of the day, was divine! It had chunks of chocolate in it. Culver's is what I would consider an upscale fast food restaurant, though the food is cooked to order. You order at the counter and fix your own drink, then sit down and wait on them to bring out the food. They also sell pints of their ice cream from a cooler near the registers. They'll even bring your dessert last if you request it. There are a few TVs featuring Culver's advertisements and custom food/farm/Culver's artwork hanging on the walls. The design is a bit more attractive than a typical fast food restaurant. There is plenty of seating in the restaurant too. Our total meal was about $32, which we thought was well priced given the quality and amount of food. We'll definitely eat there more often. I'm craving it again already. read more
