I have visited MANY locations of Mellow Mushroom and I have to say that the Foley, AL location is the absolute BEST of any I have ever visited! The service is good and the food is even better. My past experiences at Mellow Mushroom locations has been pretty mediocre while at this location everything was really fantastic. The ambiance here is also very above and beyond what I've experienced at other locations. I wish the Mellow Mushrooms we USED to have in New Orleans and Metairie would have been just half as good as this one as then they might still be around. Overall this location of Mellow Mushroom is one of the best pizza joints in the Foley, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach areas. read more

Walked in and had to wait for the hostess for a solid 5 minutes after making eye contact with her when me and my party of 3 walked in. She then seated us and gave an extremely dirty table, had to be asked to wipe it down. Our server Addy, was fantastic, she was timely with our order and continued refills on drinks, she assisted with the menu as this is our first time being here. It's a standard Mellow which we typically like. Pizza and beer selection is good but the service the 2 times we've been here have been subpar. Last time we went, I ordered a beer and by the time I finished my pizza, I was never offered a refill of any beverage. Both my beer and water were empty and I had to find the waitress so I could pay. read more

Came here an hour until closing (we felt bad) but it was a wonderful stop! I've visited other Mellow Mushroom locations and this one didn't disappoint. Our server was so kind and sweet, she even offered to take a photo of us. My vegan pizza was delicious and they were able to make the cheese sticks vegan too! I kept wanting to try Mellow Mushroom in PCOLA when I lived in Gulf Breeze. I just never found the time. Had a house built in Alabama and went for lunch in Foley. Atmosphere and service are absolutely amazing. The pizza was amazing as well and I grew up on pizza living in the burbs of Chicago and tried many through the US and Europe. Only place that I love move is the pizza in Italy. I'm a frequent customer and I continue to recommend. This establishment to friends. read more

Great pizza got the traditional crust. It was very good needed a little more sauce but was excellent. There was just two of us decided to get the medium but probably should have got the small. We haven't been to mellow mushroom in a while so our date lunch was there this past weekend. Our server was great. She stayed on top of everything and our food was just a I remembered it. I don't eat pizza very much but when I do I want good pizza. The BBQ chicken pizza in my opinion is the best there. The ranch dressing and marinara sauce are both great too. We started with a salad to get those greens in and they had the right amount of Caesar dressing on them for me. The croutons were also flavorful. Plus a great selection of draft beer read more

Was it FANTASTIC? Not really... But it was vegan and because it's so hard to find places that offer vegan, they get an extra star. It was tastier than anything I've managed to make at home. We ate here with our friends. This place in particular is amazing. Especially the service. Top notch. Our server was amazing and so very helpful on top of training someone. She was just wonderful. The manager, huge shootout also. Our daughter got the wrong kids pizza, so they sent it back, ordered the new one. They brought out her cheese one, it was slightly burnt. My daughter was goo eating something else, and so I told our server to tell the manager, don't worry about making another one, but the manager insisted. I have just been so impressed with the customer service here. I also highly recommend the pizza bites with the spicy cheese sauce. Wow! So freaking good. read more

Watch your drinking glasses for left over lip marks & lipstick on them. Ordered a glass of wine & it came with lip marks all over the rim of the glass. Returned it & the 2nd one actually had pinkish lipstick on it. GROSS!! Food was awesome as always. But Manager (Danielle) never apologized & instead said "oh, I thought she washed that off". After the 2nd time, I just had them put the wine in a to go cup. Made us check our plates - luckily didn't see anything gross on them. Took a survey online & C.S. responded an "apology was made" & a "discount was applied to the bill". We didn't hear that apology nor see a discount on the bill. Use a to go cup for your drinks here. Tried this place recently when visiting family. The cheesy bread appetizer was good. We got a small "holy shiitake," small create your own margherita, and a large "great white." The pizzas were flavorful and filling and we were able to make 2 meals out of it. We tried to place the order over the phone, but no one answered. However, it was easy to place online. Like others have said, it is very pricey. Our bill was over $80 pre-tip for 3 pizzas (2 small) and an appetizer. They do have a lot of flavor options as well as options for vegan and gluten-free. read more

The check in coupon worked, very happy about that! This location was super busy this evening, there seems to be a concert in town so lots of people, mostly without mask. The servers and hostess also did not have on mask. I like Mellow Mushroom pizza and this was my first time getting the mushroom pizza. The holy shiitake pie was very good! I added spinach for a few more veggies. Love the MM crust and because of the truffle aioli they add it was great to dip your crust in it.
